works on each cake, and i have never seen a cake come out of her shop that wasn't beautiful. They are super friendly and easy to work with. they even do an actual cake tasting in the bakery where you can try anything and sit and design your dream cake. I will never go to a nother bakery again, Just American Desserts is one of the best decisions we could have made for our wedding!

The rocky part: the baker we dealt with for the tasting, when shown the design we wanted, stated "oh, we don't really like to do that design." Our response: take it out of your catalog then! She agreed to do it, but not without protest. Secondly, we tasted an fantastically delicious combination: washington apple cake with lemon filling. It was to die for! When we told her or choice, she stated quite gloomily: "oh, I'd never thought of putting those together." Perhaps she was having a bad day, but come on, this is a wedding cake tasting!
The result: my favorite part of the wedding! The cake was beautiful and everything we envisioned; and 'wierd' flavor combination was the first to be devoured (different combos for each tier). Overall, the end result is what mattered and it was spot on perfect!!
The rumors are true! They are the best in town. The cakes are amazing and their service is great!
