tural. Leading up to the wedding I knew that I wanted a low bun, but I wasn’t exactly sure what style. I had some trouble finding inspiration images especially with Pinterest sometimes being unrealistic. However I knew Jackie would know exactly how to style my updo! My hair was exactly like my inspiration image- except somehow even better! The hair was extremely secure and lasted all night long. She is really a master at her craft. As if all that wasn’t enough, Jackie is extremely friendly and easy to talk to, making you feel totally relaxed, totally forgetting about the wedding nerves. Do not hesitate! At the end of the day, I had a few concerns which I communicated for Jackie and she responded quickly with ways to address them on the big day. Prior to my wedding day, we worked through the timeline to understand when my bridesmaids needed to arrive for hair and makeup so that everyone would know what to expect. Jackie showed up on time and set up stations in the room so that her team could get to work as soon as they arrived. She started on my hair and makeup and ensured that I was comfortable and able to take breaks for food as she worked. The end result was STUNNING! Even prettier than my trial. The bridesmaids and moms all looked great – her team did a fantastic job! I also asked Jackie to touch up the groom to ensure he looked presentable in photos and he was well groomed and looked perfect. The best part was that our wedding was outside on quite possibly the hottest day of the year and my makeup should have melted off, but I looked just as fresh by the end of the evening as I did earlier in the day with little to no touchups! I was amazed. This woman knows what she’s doing! Jackie has a great personality and will put you at ease. If you’re looking for someone to perform the beauty services for your wedding, I would highly recommend Jackie!

has a strong understanding of hair. I had known Jackie from high school and had heard that she had become a hairstylist in New York, so I knew she had made it big, and reached out to see if she could help me out. She responded so quickly. She explained her process, and had more questions about the wedding, the style, everything that would be important to know to make the hair and makeup just right. When she came out to do the test, I explained to her the hairstyle I wanted, what my bridesmaids could do with their hair, and she took the idea and ran with it. I wan't sure exactly how I wanted it, but she somehow knew and made it perfect. Fast forward to wedding day; she arrived right on time, in fact I am pretty sure she was early, but knocked on the door right at arrival time. She jumped in with her assistant and they got right to work. She was fast, but fun and professional, all at the same time. When the time came to dress, she made sure I didn't do anything to mess up my make up or hair. Once it was time to go, she made sure to put all the finishing touches up for Church and we were on our way. After the church wedding Jackie stayed around because the forecast called for rain, and oh boy did it rain. Jackie made sure the hair never faltered, cleaned up any flyaways before the pictures and even made sure the make up was still on point. Jackie was such a pleasure to have for my wedding. She never skipped a beat, even with the humidity and the rain, and I would call her to do my hair all the time if I could.
