Highly recommend Jessica and JVK photography. We booked her for engagement photos and wedding photos and videography. She went above and beyond as we asked if it was ok to bring our two little girls as well to throw in for a picture or two at the end. She agreed but that is not what she did. She then went above and beyond and got so many amazing shots. One with just dad one with both, just each other, alone. All of the different options she did it! It was a fun experience and not uncomfortable or corny! I will cherish these photos forever and my wedding is yet to come. Thanks Jessica!

My husband and I got married June 10th, 2023, on Siesta Key. We used a wedding company for our ceremony, that included photography with the package. We were a little hesitant to use the photographer provided, as our wedding photos were the one thing we really cared about. Especially since this would most likely be the last event with all of our family together. However, we currently do not live in Florida, and trusted the company's recommendation. After meeting Jessica, and working with her, she exceeded my expectations. We chose to have a smaller wedding with only our close friends and family. Because of this I didn't feel like a bride, or that I had gotten the same experience as others. After seeing my photos, I felt like a real bride, like I hadn't missed out on anything. I LOVE my photos. She captured everything I wanted and more! My husband and I will cherish them for the rest of our lives. Now that we are moving to Florida, I even hope to have Jessica capture our future life events.

I booked Jessica about 2 months out from when I needed photos. My sister was unable to attend my wedding, and I wanted to capture some of the special moments that were missed. Jessica was able to meet the day I needed and suggested a wonderful location for pictures. She was great to work with before, during, and after. The pictures are beautiful! My wedding day finally feels closer to being complete. As far as this review, it would not allow me to select the proper date. Photos were taken on April 30th, 2023.

We went with JVK for our engagement sessions and could not be happier! The pictures came out perfect and we got them back super quick. Jessica was super helpful and flexible throughout the entire process and responds super quickly :)

JVK Photography was wonderful to work with! We called Jessica to help us with an intimate elopement civil ceremony that we wanted to have at the local historic courthouse. She was prompt with communications and even helped us to navigate closures due to the holiday, which we were not aware of. Jessica was on time even though we were late to our wedding (smile) and was flexible with pics inside of the courthouse, the main building, and in the beautiful garden outside the courthouse. Jessica provides a "sneak peek" to a few of the photos while she continued her review & editing of the rest of the gallery. This came the day after the wedding and then the full gallery of photos came just 5 days later! Wow. Her professional photos turned out extremely well and we couldn't be happier with the way that she helped to capture our special day. We highly recommend her!

Jessica was really awesome! She suggested a great location that really spoke to who we are as a couple and took beautiful pictures. I appreciated her emphasis on getting the best shot, whether it was listening to our requests for backgrounds, changing angles for the best lighting, moving us around to make us look our best, waiting for passersby to clear the area to create a more intimate moment, or any of many things she did so well. I'm so happy with how quickly and how well all of the photos turned out, and I would gladly recommend her to friends and family for any moments they want captured on camera.

I highly recommend Jessica Hamby as a wedding photographer! She was very professional, timely, and friendly. While taking photos, she had an amazing talent for noticing small details that needed to be corrected for the perfect photo. Jessica was amazing!! She photographed our wedding and we loved the photos. She paid attention to what we wanted for photos and made sure to get all our special events for the night. She was on time and ready to go through the whole evening and was super accommodating to our last minute decision to have a first look! We were worried about lighting with having an inside ceremony but everything turned out beautifully and outside Jessica did a great job to make sure to work around the setting sun. We had our sneak peek provided to us by the time we made it to the hotel from the venue that same night and we had the full album faster than we thought!

Jessica was amazing! She was so understanding when we had to take some family pictures earlier than anticipated AND in a different spot than planned due to some mobility issues. Although we knew we had a time limit on the sunset she never made us feel rushed and made sure to include any and everyone we wanted. I would absolutely recommend JVK Photography to anyone looking for a fantastic photographer! Jessica photographed my husband and my private beachside wedding ceremony just last month, and she was a pleasure to work with. She is incredibly talented, very sweet, and she was flexible when we had to delay our wedding from 2020. She was so helpful in giving us direction on what looked nice in terms of poses and best angles for lighting (it was very bright on the beach that day). When we received our photos, we were absolutely ecstatic! We could not get over how stunning the photos were - every photo looked so natural (none of our poses came off looking forced or awkward - she knew exactly what looked perfect!), the backdrop in every photo was absolutely gorgeous, and we just could not be happier with our entire experience. In fact, we were so happy that we have already set up a future photo session with JVK Photography for family photos this fall. 100% recommend, and thank you so much, JVK!! :-)

So when I decided to hire a photographer it was a week before I planned on proposing... Which in my opinion, is pretty last minute! However, Jessica was able to take care of me with all my short notice and the proposal and pictures turned out beautifully! I know how we all want proposals and weddings to be PERFECT and you only get one shot at it, so you obviously want to be confident in your photographer to capture the special moment. Our entire gallery was back to us within a week with exact instructions on how to access and download them.
