I am at a loss for words... Choosing Karl as our photographer was the most incredible decision we made for our wedding. Right from the beginning, he was incredibly responsive and accommodating. Despite numerous changes in our plans, he handled everything with such grace! And the photos... oh my goodness, we are still in awe and deeply moved every time we look at them. Karl captured exactly what we had envisioned: beautiful moments that showcase the happiness on everyone's faces. He also made sure to capture some stunning and romantic shots of us as a couple, which we have proudly displayed in our home because we love them so much. We were fortunate enough to come across Karl thanks to a recommendation from our college friend. It felt like destiny that he would be our photographer, after finding out that he also photographed another event of one of my bridesmaids. Such a small world. And let me tell you, he truly lived up to our expectations! Karl was incredibly easy to communicate with. We used text, email, and calls and he’d always respond and pick up. I had the pleasure of meeting Karl a few years ago when I came across his exceptional photography work for events and nightlife in downtown LA. When my fiancé and I began planning our wedding, Karl was the first person who came to mind. Picking Karl to be our photographer was an incredibly easy decision during the planning process. Even before we were engaged, my now husband had been researching photographers and upon checking was truly inspired by Karl’s work (he shoots weddings, events, models, lifestyle, boudoir, you name it he does it and does it well). Karl was the star of our wedding! All our friends were envious of our weding pictures and wedding film and kept asking us how we found Karl. We were so lucky to even get him tbh, it was so confusing who to pick when we were looking and we looked for weeks. It was my husband who decided to go with him after they talked the first time. My experience with Karl started when my bf hired him when he proposed. So we know him for over 2 years now. The biggest reason we picked him to do pictures and videos for our wedding was the images from the proposal day were absolutely beautiful! They are maybe the best pictures that someone took of me in my life! No kidding! I had experience with 2 or 3 professional photographers in the past so I thought they were just going to be the same but when I opened that Google folder that Karl sent from our proposal, the pictures seemed to want to come out of the screen. They were almost 3 dimensional and I looked gorgeous!!! They are magazine quality and you would think that we had the whole beach to ourselves as there were no people in our pictures and the beach in Malibu that day was semi packed. Needless to say that there were no other choices for us for our wedding but Karl. We actually had to incorporate his availability in the dates we chose so we are sure to have him. I am 100% sure that you’ll love Karl like we did. He’s so humble, so easy to work with (we had many requests during our wedding day) and he will work hard to make you be satisfied with the results. Our video was like movie. The vows we said in the ceremony and the speeches at the reception became the voice over of the whole thing and was perfect. He also recorded the whole ceremony,our dances and all the toasts for no additional charge. If you’re getting married and are afraid of the nightmares and cost associated with getting photographers and videographers, do yourself a favor and get Karl and his team to do your wedding. Never have I thought that I would have a photoshoot done like this in my life. I was always shy and dont even have many pictures on my IG. But when my friends told me that this could be a good wedding gift for my future husband, I was really intrigued as i knew it would really shock him. So I searched LA for photographers who do this and that's how I found Karl. The moment I talked to him I know that I'd be safe. It's like one of those feelings when you like talk to a teacher in school. Anyway, I'd have to say he's very patient. I think we spent 30 minutes over the phone and I did most of the talking with all my silly questions as I haven't done a photoshoot in my life. He explained the whole process to me and I learned so much how these shoots could be done. I followed his recommendation to get an airbnb and pick the best looking within my budget and I'm glad I did that. We shot in different places of the house I rented and not just in a bedroom like you'd maybe get when you rent a hotel room or a studio. It gave my pictures a lot of variety and looked liked I shot with Vogue or Vanity Fair. haha. I opted for a an extended shoot. I brought a whole bag of lingerie and knowing how long it would take me to change in between, I knew I needed more hours. I took his advice to make the most of the airbnb and asked my BFFs to come later that day and bring food and drinks and we partied and watched rom coms all evening. I have to say because of Karl, I am now an expert in a boudoir or lingerie shoot. haha. I enjoyed every minute of that shoot. I felt like my most beautiful self if that makes sense. He just made me feel very taken care of I think is how I'd describe it that the fear I had when I first came out of my first piece from the bathroom went away so quickly that I forgot i even had that fear when we started. We started with just 'flow-posing' I think is the term and after a few minutes we reviewed my poses and I learned that there are angles that work best when you want to show the full body or 3/4s and all that. From then on he guided me to what my best angles are and I just had so much fun. I felt like a supermodel. haha. I'll just say that Karl is not just great at what he does. He's an awesome dude. Very respectful, very humble very kind. After a week he sent me my digital pictures and boy I was blown-away. I never imagined that I'd ever look that sexy. haha I received so many great shots that I couldn't decide what to put in the book to be printed (btw, he recommended an online place to do it cheaper for good quality). I really wished I found him sooner so he could have been our wedding photographer too. I know now that there is definitely a difference in quality if you go with the right people. I did recommend him to my co-worker when she got engaged and she was very happy. I remember my husband was shocked when I showed him the book with my pictures at the night of our wedding. Let's just say that made that night even more passionate. five stars for sure for Karl. thank you for that wonderful experience I will never forget

Karl was one of three vendors that we had shortlisted for our wedding photos and video. Honestly he was on the higher end of our budget but we ultimately went with Karl because it came down to the quality of his work and the value we were getting. Our photos came out exactly how we had envisioned and the video was sooo dreamy and so "us." He captured our moments perfectly, we were in our element and it really came across in the finished product. It's true what they say. You do get what you pay for. And turnaround time was faster than we expected. Thank you, Karl!

My hubby and I didn't have enough time to plan our wedding as he was going to be deployed in summer of 2021. We researched and looked at so many photographers and videographers. We live near downtown LA so you can just imagine the number of options for these kinds of services. Our heads were spinning and stressing since we were running out of time. Reading nightmare stories of their wedding day definitely didn't help so we kept checking and rechecking all those available in our area. One afternoon while Roberto and I were on the way home, I found one of Karl's ads online and just checked his website out. I watched one of his movies and something hit me emotionally and I told my hubby I want him to watch as well during dinner. At home we checked his reviews we found online - not here but in the usual review places online- and we saw a trend that people kept talking about this guy which was him having high integrity. I know this is a long intro for how we met Karl but that time was so stressful for us that it was such a blessing that we decided to go with him. Speaking on the results we got from the photos and highlight film from Karl, let me describe it this way. In my huge friend group in the on-base housing. there were 4 girls who got engaged/married after Covid. All used photographers for their wedding and 3 of us had videos done. Until today, we get complimented on how beautiful our pictures were compared to theirs and our wedding video was like watching a real hollywood movie in quality. We didn't make much that year but wanted to spend enough to make our wedding memorably. Add on all the cash that went to catering, dresses, venue, dj, etc., it was like spending a small fortune getting married in LA. We are SOOO glad we chose Karl to do our photos and videos. he's worth every dollar we spent. Him and his team were so professional and we never had to look for them at any point that day. They were just there ready for the next thing from the ceremony and all the things we did at the reception and our wedding took almost the whole day. My husband and I met with a couple of photographers and decided to use Karl's services for our big day. He made us feel at ease right from the start and was patient with us despite our numerous questions and requests. We never felt rushed and he really listened to us and made sure he understood what our expectations were. I appreciate someone who takes the time to get to know me and my husband instead of just focusing on getting our money. The finished product is awesome! I am always proud to show off our wedding photos and video because they are excellent. I can't say enough good things. Karl is awesome! Being a middle-aged woman getting married in the era of social media and online stores, it was scary for me to connect with someone who could take photos and videos of my wedding. My husband and I thought that it'd be intimidating to use the contact page on someone's website but as soon as we logged into Karl's, we were greeted with a welcoming hello and we knew right away that we were in good hands. The chat led to a quick Zoom call days later and he patiently answered all our questions about the wedding ( it was also the first time for us to hire a videographer). He was organized from the get-go. He even sent us a Google calendar reminder a week before the wedding day. Our guests loved Karl like he was part of the family. He's very great with people and my relatives even commended me for finding a friendly photographer. We really enjoyed posing for him as this wasn't something we normally do but he just made it less frightening I guess. The most important piece I guess of our review is that we loved our pictures. They were delivered on time and the resolution was more than enough to do very large prints. Speaking of prints, he didn't upsell us a wedding book or prints as he gave us great advise to take the pictures to Costco ( we didn't even know they had wedding photobooks but they don't have printing anymore today btw) and get a huge hardcover book with 50 pages for a very cheap price but with high quality that possibly could be better than other printing places. Now I understand how photographers rip off their customers by selling them overpriced books that could be had for cheaper if you know where to go. That right there was one of the reasons why I recommend Karl to all my family and friends who are not only getting married but need a photographer or videographer. Oh by the way, our wedding film he made is also the highlight of my Valentine's night yearly with my husband. Dinner, drinks, and we rewatch the movie when we get home. Sorry for the lengthy note. The last thing I want to say is knowing how a wedding can be nerve-racking, especially for those of us who haven't done it before is you want the pictures and if you're doing videos to capture all the expensive things you prepared for your wedding day. Those won't look good if you're photographer is not good. I say and go with Karl so you can forget about the stress of it and enjoy your wedding day. LT
