Karla is the absolute dream hair and makeup artist!! I highly recommend her services! For my September 2024 wedding I wanted gorgeous boho inspired hair and stunning airbrush makeup and she delivered that and so much more! Her upbeat attitude and focus on my vision were exactly what I needed, and the biggest plus is sheโs an amazing person overall! I recently had the pleasure of working with Karla for my bridal hair and makeup, as well as the hair styling for my young daughters, aged 6 and 9. Karla was an absolute delight to have around on such an important day. Her fun and energetic personality made the day not only enjoyable but also helped manage the inevitable stress that comes with wedding preparations.
Karlaโs professionalism and attention to detail were evident from the moment she arrived. She quickly assessed our setup and took action to rearrange things to ensure everything worked perfectly, and she was meticulous about putting everything back in its place afterward.

OBSESSED w/ what she did on my wedding day doesnโt even say it!!! ๐ฉท๐ฉท๐ฉทShe over exceeded anything I ever thought what was possible! I went in with my dream hair photo not knowing if it would be possible with my hair and she made the magic happen! I did do the extensions just because I have very fine hair and itโs only at my armpit length and I wanted it to be longer for my day. I didnโt know how Iโd feel about them, but I ended up taking them home and I absolutely love them! I canโt wait to play around with them some more! Iโve already been recommending everyone I know who recently got engaged to go to her who would like a destination wedding like we did! I came from Kansas to do our destination wedding there at Pensacola Beach and it was perfect! I only wish she was closer so I could have her do my hair and makeup all the time!๐ ๐ The makeup was also flawless! Iโm a pretty natural looking makeup girl and she simply just embraced and perfected what features I already had! Donโt think twice about this one! BOOK!!!!๐ฉท

Karla was absolutely incredible! She maintained communication leading up to my wedding, which was huge because this was a destination wedding. She took the time to get to know me, my hair and skin type prior to the big day.
The day of the wedding, she arrived early, with the most energetic, and positive vibes! I was obviously nervous being wedding day, and Karla played a major roll in making the getting ready process all the more fun and memorable! Not only was she my best friend that day, but she made me look and feel like a princess for my wedding! Iโm so fortunate to have been able to get her as my makeup artist and hairstylist!

There literally are not enough words to describe how incredible Karla is! From her communication to her energy she is more than top notch!! She never hesitated to respond to any question I had and thoroughly listened to my vision.
My hair and make up were so incredibly beautiful and totally withstood the wind and humidity at our Beachside wedding.

Karla was an ABSOLUTE dream to work with!!! She totally blew my expectations out of the water! From the moment I spoke with her on the phone there was no doubt she was the perfect fit!! She was like talking to an old friend and just made everything so easy!! I spent the day before my wedding in urgent care...very bad sinus and ear infection. I felt miserable but her upbeat text that night put me at ease. She showed up the next day and worked her magic!!! You would've never guessed how terrible I felt. Karla, thank you from the bottom of my heart for just being your AMAZING self!!! You truly gave me my dream look and made me feel like a queen!!!! You were so amazing executing my McKenna's hair as well!!! A million times over I recommend Karla!!!!! If and when I ever get back in the area I 100% want another day of beauty with you!!!!

She made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived for my elopement hair and makeup. She is warm and welcoming. She wants to give you exactly what you want, but also guides you on what she believes will look best. She gave me the exact hairstyle I wanted and it turned out even better than expected. My makeup looked perfect and made me feel beautiful. 100% recommend her! If you want to feel like you are hanging out with a lifelong friend that just happens to be amazing and hair and makeup you should book her!

Karla was quite literally someone who came into our lives last minute literally days from the wedding and made the day so wonderful. She understood the assignment and absolutely slayed. I did not have a lot of direction for her but she made me feel like a goddess.The option for hair and makeup was something I almost didnโt include for the wedding but couldnโt be happier that I chose Karla. What a personable and lovely woman who will ease your stress and kick start your big day with the right energy. Laughs all around and just makes you feel beautiful as the person you are.

Karla brings the energy and talent from trial to wedding day. You won't regret booking her. As an out-of-town bride, booking vendors you haven't met in person can be intimidating. Karla had me laughing and feeling great throughout the entire process. Contracting and payment were a breeze, and she was very helpful in keeping me on track.
During the trial, we had fun at her home studio, testing the look for the big day. In addition to getting the look just right, she was so helpful in providing spot-on tips to get my skin as glowy as possible for the big day. Brides, if she makes suggestions... FOLLOW THEM. She's got your back, and it will pay off.
Day of was a dream! She & her assistant brought the energy we needed the morning of. Wedding days usually start early, and they helped make it brighter and easier. We cruised through the bridesmaids and remained on time, thanks to Karla's detailed prep, organization and skill.
Karla went above and beyond to help keep the energy. My MIL is a native Spanish speaker and I'm bilingual in English & French (aka useless). My MIL is also not used to having these types of services and was very eager to get out of the chair back to the family on wedding day. Karla took over and made sure we both had nothing to worry about! She seamlessly pivoted the schedule and helped with communication so that we both could get the most enjoyment out of the morning. My MIL was thrilled with everything & I didn't have to worry one bit about communicating.
My hair and makeup looked perfect and kept all night, even into the early AM hours of our NYE wedding. If you're looking for a boho stylist, Karla is a must-book! She'll make your big day an absolute dream come true.

Wow!! Where do I begin, Karla from the very beginning responded minutes after my initial inquiry. I inquired with other vendors before Karla and no one had the response time she did, as well as making me feel so important. My husband and I decided to have a small, intimate wedding on 07/22/23 and because of our smaller wedding party we were met with some push back from other vendors. The prior vendors messages told me โmy bridal party was too smallโ or โwe could maybe squeeze us in.โ Going into the initial inquiry with Karla I was feeling discouraged with my bridal party being smaller. I requested fourservices for our hair. She immediately responded by making those four services seem like a breeze! She made my bridal party feel so special. Her communication through the eight months was so helpful. She would recommend me products to grow and strengthen my hair and best hairstyles for a windy, beach wedding. The day of the wedding Karla showed up and had the best energy out of any other bridal vendors Iโve seen. She truly loves what she does and it shows through her work. I mentioned earlier that we booked 4 hair services and Karla offered all of the ladies to help with any makeup for the day to run smoothly; which was so generous. She wanted to make sure we stuck to our wedding timeline and didnโt run late. She finished all four beautiful hairstyles in a timely manner. Even after she finished she stuck around for an additional TWO HOURS to make sure she was available for touch ups as well as helping our photographer and videographer move furniture to get the best angles possible. Her travel fees were very affordable for the time, maintenance, and gas. Truly Karla goes above and beyond on your wedding day and mine wouldnโt have been the same without her.

Karla is phenomenal. She is fun, quirky, and amazing, just to name a few. I am from Oklahoma, so I was stressing about finding a hair and makeup artist for my wedding in Florida. After our first online meeting, I knew she would be able to bring my vision to life (and I didnโt even have that vision fully yet). She is great with communication, patience (I was also finishing up clinical rotations for my degree, so I wasnโt always the most responsive), and is just awesome. She never made me feel annoying or that she was mad or annoyed with my poor communication, although Iโm sure it was frustrating. After I graduated, I found ideas on her pinterest for hair and makeup and she told me everything I would need to do to prep myself to make it happen! All within a month. My bridal hair and makeup trial was the thursday before my wedding, and I was a little nervous with that short amount of time between the two. What if it wasn't what I pictured? There was no need to worry though! I was absolutely beautiful. She listened to the few things I said I wanted changed on the actual wedding day, and she did such a great job at listening to what I was saying and making it happen. I truly felt like a queen. She COMPLETELY exceeded my expectations. I would give more stars if I could! I had no idea i could actually look that beautiful๐ she just did such a fantastic job at enhancing my natural beauty. I also had her do one of my maids of honorโs hair and the otherโs makeup. The one whose hair she did was super curly, and there was a little panic on the maid of honorโs side about how to prep the hair for a smooth braid. Karla did a great job at easing her stress and ended up creating a beautiful braid with her natural curly hair. All around, Karla is helpful, gets things done, is great at easing stress, and has a great energy to be around. She also has a cute little dog named Simon so extra points for that!!
