We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Katie, Casey and team. From the start, they took the time to really hear what was important to us on our wedding day and followed through with making it happen it right until the end. They helped keep us focused on the big picture by working through the details. It is so easy to get caught up in all of the moving parts (then add a pandemic on top of it!) - having extra support and gentle push to get things done was everything. They also took care of things that we didn't even know needed taking care of on the day itself. So many things can happen that require attention or on-the-fly decision making — like a musician without a voice or torrential downpour heading right towards your outdoor ceremony (to name a few of ours) — but with the team there, what could have been stressful and upsetting was seamless and hopeful. The only thing we had to do that night was have fun. The day comes quick and is over even quicker and we were so grateful that we got to fully soak it all in. The memories are what last after your wedding day, so spend time really thinking about what you want from it, then hire the best planner to make sure it all happens :)

Hands down, best money we spent on our wedding! They were AMAZING and made our day so perfect. We booked them for the day of coordinator package, and now looking back, we wish we had booked them for the entire wedding planning package, they were THAT good! They are so on top of everything from coordinating with vendors, to creating and sticking to the timeline, to keeping track of all our things, and so on (we could go on forever). Our wedding day was an absolute dream, and if anything did go wrong, we didn’t even know about it. It was so nice to be able to enjoy every second of our wedding and not have to worry about a single thing! We absolutely couldn’t have done it without them and are so grateful for them!! Hire them!!... we promise you will not regret it!

Hands down, THE BEST decision I made when starting to plan my wedding! Katie and Casey are an amazing team. They handled the ups and downs of 2020 with ease – planning and then re-planning my wedding multiple times throughout the year. KOWE made the process of finding and vetting vendors (a process I was dreading) incredibly easy. They stayed on top of every detail (no matter how minute) and were life savers the day-of, taking care of literally everything! I knew that whatever challenge presented itself - they would handle (and they did!). They are awesome to work with and bring AMAZING ENERGY to both the wedding planning process and wedding day! Cannot recommend them enough : )

Katie & Casey are the best in the business. They go above and beyond to help you execute the most perfect day. We went through a lot of ups and downs (covid bride & groom here) but these two always knew what to say to make us calm and keep us moving forward. They executed an incredible timeline with all the necessary details and when it came to day of it was incredible. We both felt the relief of not having to stress over the little details (because KOWE had that taken care of) and we truly felt so special..like a prince & princess. Hiring a planner was the best decision we made and we couldn’t imagine having gone through these crazy two years of planning without the help of KOWE.

I would not have had a wedding if it were not for Katie and Casey. 1) Organized: Casey has a 3 ring binder that's bigger than the ones you used in middle school. She has tabs and more tabs with perfect records of quotes and concerns and vendors and colors etc. We had monthly and then weekly calls on top of daily emails. They are always quick to respond. Our wedding was huge: 300 people and 3 days of events: dinners, bowling, museums, brunches, and the actual wedding. Katie and Casey planned and executed them all flawlessly. The day of the wedding the entire event was perfect because Katie and Casey kept everyone aware of their roles, telling who to be where and when. There was a water glass in my hand before i knew i was thirsty, a fan in my hand before i felt the first sweat bead start to drop, a tissue before the tears could smudge my makeup. On the day of my wedding, no one asked me 1 question; Casey and Katie triaged everything. I just got to be there and enjoy it! It was every girls dream! Things just happened; it was like having magic angels. 2) Professionalism. Katie and Casey are professionals. They know exactly what they are doing and they do it well. They know what makes a wedding flow seamlessly and what can go wrong and they prepare for it. They have a list of wonderful vendors but are open to finding new ones if you ask that of them. I loved watching the way my relationship progressed with the team. Katie and Casey learned my style of decision making and then adapted the way they presented information and options. It was the perfect balance for me. For brides who want more control or less control, they will adapt, but always give their opinion about what would be best for your wedding in their professional opinion. 3) Kind and Friendly. Katie and Casey are two of the most kind, loving and warm people. They are in the wedding industry because they truly believe in the Magic of Love. Any time a stressor popped up, Katie and Casey would give their words of wisdom and the problem would be solved. We had a major hiccup when we realized we invited almost 100 people more than we thought and Katie and Casey came up with a master plan and took all the stress off my plate. Katie was able to move my wedding inside in a blink of an eye after realizing it was the hottest and most humid day of the year. I didn't even feel an ounce of worry it wouldn't be perfect. Katie has a way of comforting and keeping perspective on what's important, the marriage! All and all, I don't have enough kind words to say about Katie, Casey and the rest of the team. I mean it when I say, I would not have had a wedding without them. I miss my check-ins with the team. In fact, i want to throw another party, just so I can work with them again! Katie and Casey: thank you for making our night sparkle. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy our wedding and the entire planning process. I appreciate you both!

Casey was the senior coordinator for my daughter’s wedding. Before hiring Casey, I was feeling completely overwhelmed by the wedding planning process. As soon as I met with Casey, I knew that I had to hire her. Casey is an absolutely incredible wedding planner and an all-around wonderful person. She took over every aspect of the wedding planning process and she did an impeccable job. She was able to recommend excellent vendors. She set up meetings with vendors and the wedding venue, and she accompanied my daughter and me to those meetings. She responds quickly to emails and she was always available to answer questions and offer advice. On the day of my daughter’s wedding, Casey and Leanne made sure that everything went smoothly. I don’t know how we could have pulled off that day without their help. My daughter’s wedding was absolutely perfect. Casey took my daughter’s vision and made it come true. I can’t believe it’s taken almost a year to write about the amazing people that make up KatieO Events. My husband and I got married last November and hiring the team at KatieO was the best decision we made during the planning process. When you plan a wedding, of course it is about you and your new spouse, but it’s also about the friends and family you want to share that special day with. From the first day you meet with Katie and Casey, they immediately become friends and make you feel as if they have known you for years. Naturally you feel a sense of comfort when they are handling one of the biggest days of your life. We left our first meeting knowing we needed to book them immediately. The planning process was so great, They helped with everything from transportation to setting up florals and just overall support. Casey is pretty much always available to answer any question you have - Within like 5 minutes of you sending an email, she will respond. Casey was with us at our final venue meeting, our rehearsal dinner and right by our side on wedding day – As any great family member would be. The best part of the day was returning to our hotel room to find they had stocked our fridge with left over food and CAKE along with the sweetest thank you card and toasting glasses. For weeks after our wedding, and still to this day our families were RAVING about Casey & Team, and how they wouldn’t have another event without hiring them. Thank you, Casey, Katie, Annie & Abby for being so passionate about all things weddings and making our day so magical. We can not express how grateful we are to have you in our lives! We hired Katie O and team for our wedding planning process for our wedding on 9/14/19. We hired them for the day of package which included planning a month or two out and day of coordination. What an amazing team! From start to finish Katie and Annie were fantastic to work with. Every time someone asked me if and who my wedding planner was, when I mentioned Katie O, they immediately said they were the best and I was in good hands! They understood my vision and executed beautifully! Annie was my bridal attendant for the day and she knocked it out of the park! Any little thing I needed she had, she thought of everything I didn’t, and even gathered all the special odds and ends for me at the end of the night and brought back to our hotel room. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Katie O events for your wedding planning needs! Hopefully I can have another event in the future so I can work with them! A great group of gals with amazing personalities and impeccable attention to detail.

We could not be more pleased with Katie O' Weddings & Events! From our first meeting with Katie to our final meeting with Casey, the planning process was stress-free, smooth and fun! Katie and Casey were both so responsive and helpful along the way, even though we hired them for day of coordination, we felt like had full service! They gave us lots of fun ideas and tips along the way, helped us find most of our vendors, and helped us create a day that felt exactly like us. About a month before the wedding, Casey took over all the final details, created a timeline that had more details than I ever thought possible and made sure everything from the rehearsal through the reception ran smoothly (in fact, she fixed problems that day I didn't even know existed - but that's part of the reason we love her so much!). Plus she brought lots of laughter and sparkle to the day ! I felt like I was floating through a dream most of our wedding day - and that really is all thanks to Casey and the rest of our day of team (I'm talking to you Kelly and Amy!). We miss you already!

My wedding day was truly perfect and I owe so much of that to Katie and Casey. Katie first helped my older sister with her wedding a few years ago, so I always knew I'd be a "KOWE Legacy Bride!" They were wonderful to work with during the planning process and on our wedding day. I never felt stressed or anxious when we were planning because Katie and Casey honestly had everything handled. They were always responsive to emails/texts, gave us plenty of ideas and tips from their trove of wisdom and experience, and put our minds at ease every step of the way. They recommended awesome vendors and together with them made our vision happen. They worked with our crazy schedules and travel needs for meetings (as we live in Hoboken, NJ but got married in Boston). They were knowledgable about everything and gave us honest opinions that made all the difference. The day of our wedding went off without a hitch, and Katie and Casey helped us have a blast! They are amazing and I can't recommend them enough!!

There is not a better DOC out there than the KOWE team. I truly do not think there are enough wonderful things to say about them. From the very beginning, Casey eased my mind by helping to give me honest feedback about potential vendors and work through any other big decisions we were making. Once we were 2 months out, we talked quite frequently and she starting pulling together our day of timeline, which was so incredibly detailed, it made my type-A heart flutter. They do everything: confirm timing with your vendors, make sure everything runs smoothly, even picked up a replacement tux when the best man forgot his (not kidding). Book. Them. Now!

Casey ran our wedding planning process for 18 months leading up to the big day and I have to say it was so worth it to hire her. Casey gave us incredible recommendations for all our vendors (all of which we loved), tracked everything from upcoming payments to timelines, details. She answered all our questions and made suggestions along the way. By the end, Casey knew us well enough to understand our taste and speak on our behalf to vendors. We had next to no stress leading up to the wedding and our day was executed perfectly. Everything came together so beautifully and we are so grateful for her and her team's support along the way.

Early in the wedding planning, I was looking for ways to save money and contemplated if I really needed a day of planner. I'm so glad my (now) husband talked me into it as it was the BEST decision we made for our wedding!! I can't say enough good things about Katie O and Casey! They were there to answer all our questions, checked in with our vendors multiple times, and made sure every detail was covered for the big day. My husband and I were able to fully enjoy our wedding day and I know it's because Casey was there to take care of everything!

The KOWE team is truly amazing. Casey Benson was the senior coordinator for our wedding. She truly put our minds at ease. From the moment we hired KOWE, Casey was supportive, quick to answer questions, and all around extremely pleasant to work with! Having Casey and the KOWE team at our wedding allowed me, my family and my bridal party to enjoy every moment of the wedding without having any worries or added stress. KOWE was professional and helpful from the start of wedding planning to the very end of the wedding! Casey even mailed me the lip gloss I accidentally left with her from the wedding night! If you are looking for wedding coordinators that go above and beyond to make your wedding go perfectly, KOWE is the way to go! We are SO happy we did.

Do not look for any other wedding coordinators. I had a barn wedding and had to bring in everything, down to the bathrooms and salt and pepper shakers. They had veer been to this venue before, but took the time to travel to the venue MULTIPLE times and chat with the coordinators at the venue MULTIPLE times without me even bring on the line. I felt like their only bride for all of 2017! They take care of everything and make your day so stress free. They are more than just "day of" coordinators. They help you out throughout the entire process. I booked them 2 YEARS in advance and they got on a call with me whenever I wanted to! They are truly the best in the business.

Katie and Casey "had us at hello!" From the first conversation (I'm in Long Island and they are in Saratoga Springs where our wedding took place) they listened and took action! We needed to plan a lot over the phone and email ideas back and forth...Katie and Casey just took the stress right out of the equation! When we finally met in person they were like family! Every detail, right down to placing candles on the steps down to our tented reception was handled with love and care! Having them on "our team" was the best investment I made in my daughter's dream wedding! We couldn't have done it without them...I highly recommend them not only for their knowledge and professionalism but their "sparkle" and ability to have fun! Loved them!!!

The first text I sent when I woke up the morning after my wedding was to Katie O to thank her and her team for all of their help. I think this should say plenty about how happy I was. I knew from day one that I wanted at least a day-of coordinator for our wedding. I wanted my family and friends to not have to worry about anything and I didn't want to have to be in charge of schedules and organizing people. Katie O had a great reputation, and I wanted the person who would make my life the easiest. She handled our consultation phone calls as well as our check-ins very smoothly, and always responded to any emails I sent promptly. I never felt like I was on track, but Katie always either assured me I was or nudged me in the right direction. She was invaluable when the wedding week arrived. I was so grateful to have someone else confirm my vendors and create a minute-by-minute schedule and tell vendors (and family!) when to be where. She smoothly handled a small (actually somewhat large) cosmetic crisis. I was thrilled when she pointed out at our rehearsal that our wedding ceremony was in a location and at a time of day when not only would people be blinded by the sun, but also that our photos wouldn't work out. These are the kind of details Katie and her team make sure to notice so your day is flawless. The day of it was wonderful to have everyone on hand to help set-up (allowing my Mom to spend more time with me) and also make sure we had everything we needed, including a food order. Any problems that arose, were quashed without me knowing about them. Whenever we needed something, Katie had it in her toolkit. I can't even remember the things we needed, but a few of them were pretty random. I also cannot possibly put into words how wonderful it is on your wedding day to have someone to tell you where to go and when. I wasn't even processing things that were happening on my wedding day, so if I had to be in charge of remembering to sign a marriage license, to eat, or how to hide from guests before the wedding- I wouldn't have been able to do it. Katie and her team made sure we had drinks, food, that my dress was bustled, and that we were constantly on time (which is awesome, because weddings never start on time- but they do if Katie is around!). I wish I could provide more specifics, but the day was such a blur. But I can tell you for sure that I don't know what I would have done without the Katie O team. I was a bride that read a lot of reviews while planning my wedding and I can say this: 1). All of the good feedback for Katie is true. 2). If it's in your budget, get a coordinator (and trust me, it's more than worth it). 3). If you're going to get a coordinator, get the best! Thanks for everything. I'll miss having an excuse to chat with you all! So much respect for this team. It's so clear they do it out of love for the job.

Hiring the KOWE team as our wedding weekend coordinators was hands down the best money we spent! Katie and Casey were phenomenal and we could not have had such a fun, flawless day without them. We were completely relaxed and had the best day knowing we didn't have to worry about anything. I couldn't tell you if anything went wrong because if it did, the KOWE team handled it without letting on! This is one vendor we had no regrets about and they went above and beyond our expectations. It was so much fun spending the day with KOWE and we couldn't be happier with their work!

I don't even know where to start with reviewing Katie O Events because it was that amazing. My day of coordinator was Casey and she brought two assistants. The kept us on schedule all day long, and made sure everyone is at the correct location at the right time. They had everything you could think of in their aprons, from safety pins, lint brushes, gum, etc. just the smallest things you would never of thought of! Casey made my dream day so perfect, and when any issues arose she handled it and left me out of it so I was worry free! They all gave such a positive vibe and I am endless thankful for them. It truly felt like Casey had become a close friend and I am sad I will no longer work with her!

Hiring Katie O & her incredible team was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. I'm a nervous worrier at heart, but I felt so relaxed in the months and weeks leading up to the big day, because I knew I could count on them for help with decisions and running the event smoothly. And they literally think of EVERYTHING! It was so hot the day of my wedding, so Katie showed up with a tiny, handheld fan for me to use to cool off before walking the aisle. Little touches like that show that they take their jobs very seriously, they don't just take orders! They truly care about their clients, and it shows. I would recommend them in a heartbeat!

As a bride, it's so overwhelming to plan a wedding. Add in the fact that you're working 100 hours a week and that your wedding is in a different state and you've got a ton more added stress. However, with Casey and Katie - wedding planning was a whole lot easier. As a detail oriented person, I had a strong vision of how I wanted the day to look/feel, but I needed help to execute it. Katie and Casey were so accommodating and helped me achieve my vision. They promptly answered all my emails and answered any questions that I had. Casey was such an integral part of the day. I was nervous that it would be difficult to keep our wedding on schedule and make sure that the wedding party was where they needed to be. Casey and Nate were able to do just that. Instead of worrying about what was happening behind the scenes, my husband and I were able to enjoy the love, sparkle and happily ever after. Thank you so much to Katie, Casey & Nate!

The KOWE team was amazing from the start, which I knew would be the case after going through my sisters wedding day with them! I can honestly say our wedding day was as perfect as both of us imagined because of them! If we had to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a single thing. Where do I begin? Katie and her team are the absolute best in the business! They made our special day more than I could have ever imagined. Katie met with us every month was available whenever I needed anything even to just talk. Our wedding was 2 years ago and I still talk about it and think about it as if it were yesterday. We had the best experience with KOWE. From our first planning meeting to our wedding day, Katie and Casey provided the best vendor advice and the most meticulous attention to every detail. Casey was awesome running our very customized weekend at a private home. She was poised, in charge and let us enjoy this most amazing day without a moment of stress. Working with Katie O and Team, there wasn't one moment where we were stressed or worried. They brought a sense of calm, unbelievable organization, and of course, sparkle! If you're getting married, the first thing you should do is call Katie. Team KOWE is the insurance policy for your big day. And, much like insurance, we felt the (small) investment in KOWE was completely worth it to ensure we enjoyed the day, but also that nothing went awry with any of our other vendors. Should there be any hard conversations or things you don't want to deal with - KOWE probably already took care of it! We also appreciated how KOWE kept in mind everything we had talked about in our planning meeting, and then instantly became our advocate when it came to working with the venue, catering, photographers, and families. Their attention to detail is unmatched, and having KOWE a part of your day means you literally do not have to worry about one thing. Timing is so crucial on the day of your wedding, and being able to rely on your coordinators to nail the many moving pieces of a timeline is priceless. The last amazing thing you will remember as a KOWE couple is THE SCHLEPPING.... they will literally carry any items you need (ie hair and makeup, your bouquet, a shawl etc),but most importantly your gifts back to your room! We rolled in after the after-party to find not only our gifts but also chilled champagne and a thank you note. It doesn't get any better than KOWE!

It was the best feeling knowing that we had support if something went wrong! Each member of the KOWE team was beyond helpful and gave us and our families peace of mind on the day of the wedding so that we could just focus on enjoying the moments. When the zipper on my sisters dress broke, KOWE and team was able to make a phone call and get another dress delivered to where we were taking photos which was amazing- definitely above and beyond!

I feel truly indebted to our KOWE team for their incredible work on our wedding. For your most special day, you want to surround yourself with people who will contribute to the energy you are creating with your spouse, your family and your community. From our very first interaction, it was clear that the girls had genuine love for their job and that they had a ton of experience. They were energetic (actually excited about our wedding which is not to be underrated) so very kind, attentive, reliable, timely and the most professional. I felt so taken care of throughout the whole planning process (they are VERY organized) and on the day of, Casey led us through the most glorious wedding I could have ever imagined. They went so above and beyond to make us happy at EVERY turn - whether it was in a last minute effort to surprise my now husband with a delivery of churros to the dance floor or fluidly adjusting our wedding timeline when speeches took a full half hour longer than we expected they would :) I truly can't say enough wonderful things about KOWE but would love to be a resource to any bride or couple wondering whether to hire Katie O and her team to plan or coordinate their wedding. DO IT. Endlessly grateful.

One of the best decisions that my husband and I made for our wedding was to hire the KOWE team!!! Although we only heard rave reviews, nothing compares to actually being taken care of by this team on our wedding day. Both of us felt so calm knowing that we were in the best hands. Everything from setting out blankets after the reception to making sure all of the ceremony details were in order to moving all of the pictures along when our photographer arrived to setting out the flip flops for my bridesmaids and myself at the head table to lastly, keeping my lip gloss always within an arm's reach and a mirror handy!!! These are only a FEW of the things that Casey and her team did for us on the actual day that added up to having the most perfect wedding we could have ever dreamed of. The entire KOWE team was such a pleasure to work with, my husband and I truly felt like we were friends with them by the end of the night. They kept the vision of our day always in their minds, were always happy to volunteer to do something no matter the task and were so organized throughout the entire day. By the end of the night, both of us said "did our wedding just go as seamless as we thought it did?" And the answer is a resounding YES because of the KOWE team. Casey and the girls went above and beyond in every aspect and everyone that was a part of our wedding party praised how amazing they were. I truly don't know what we would have done without the KOWE team. My advice to everyone looking for a wedding planner: hire the KOWE team!!!!

Katie O’ and her team were integral players to our wedding day vendor lineup! I am an event planner myself and have a lot of experience planning events for non-profits but my husband and I didn’t want to be running around solving problems on our wedding day. We hired team Katie O’ for day-of coordination, which I learned is really much more than just day-of coordination! I sent Katie many emails, and we had many phone calls at night (they offer phone calls after 5pm when your home from work, so helpful!) just running through logistics. Katie is like a really great friend who has all the answers and solves all your problems. Our day of planners Casey and Kelly were so organized, friendly and upbeat. We met them the day before our wedding and they run the entire rehearsal ceremony which I loved since our families had a lot of questions. We held our reception at the Canfield Casino and the day before our wedding Congress Park was a complete construction zone. Casey and Kelly assured me everything would be fine, and it was! They do more than coordinate, they give pep-talks, carry lip-gloss, keep the groomsmen on time, make sure your veil is on point, take care of tipping vendors, and most of all, ensure you enjoy your day-- it’s wonderful! Our families can’t say enough about team Katie O’—I just wish we could do it all over again!

They made things as seamless as possible and really listened to what I wanted — they’re pros at what they do. Bottom line: I felt extremely taken care of and think they were worth every penny. I also want to note that Katie and her team did so much more than the traditional wedding planning and coordinating tasks of managing the schedule/vendors/making sure everything runs smoothly (and they performed those tasks to a T). As soon as Katie stepped foot in the room on my wedding day, it felt like everything was going to turn out exactly right. She’s the type of person who can make you feel like everything will be great, even when it’s pouring the morning of your outdoor wedding. She calmed me down when I felt frazzled and made sure my train and veil and every little thing was perfect, among the thousands of other wedding coordinating things she did that day that I am not even aware of. Most importantly, I felt like she was my friend, and she was a joy to have around.

I used Katie O' Events for Day-of Services and I couldn't be happier! I met with them prior to the wedding to go over everything I had planned. They were at the rehearsal and bright and early the morning of the wedding, they were there making sure we were all on target. They were in contact with all the vendors and made sure everything was going the way it was supposed to. They kept us on schedule and none of the wedding party or family had to worry about a thing. I am so so happy that we decided to use them and would recommend anyone having a reception that doesn't come with an "event planner" at the venue to use them!
