ve I ever been abusive in any way. My family is completely shocked by her allegations and her assigning blame to everyone but herself. She blamed my coordinator and myself for services that she had promised and did not execute properly. She left items out in the rain and left the venue without a single word. I was literally crying and shaking reading her email about how I was a terrible person to her and her staff. They had come highly recommended and were a preferred vendor by my venue but what I experienced at my wedding this past Saturday was unacceptable. There were some things that were out of their control, for instance, it was very hot and some of their staff had to leave due to heat exhaustion. However what I experienced later that evening was flat out disrespectful. First they were supposed to cut and serve my cake. The venue was a barn and we had made a specific plan that my husband and I would do a grand entrance and immediately cut the cake. After that it would be taken away for dessert service later. It was never taken and at about 8pm I noticed my cake had fallen over. My coordinator had already asked the caterer to take the cake away THREE times at this point. The owner of this catering company said she doesn’t usually handle cakes, which is NOT what was discussed or agreed upon. Seriously, what caterer doesn't cut cake?! Then several of my guests noticed the bartender pouring beers for herself and disappearing for long periods of time, which of course Kathryn denied completely (my family saw it with their own eyes). To the point where my guests started serving themselves. They used the wrong cups for bar service and told people we were out of certain beers, when there were several full boxes left over at the end of the night. Then the bartender put wine in my venue’s freezer, forgot about it and they all exploded! They were supposed to have everything chilled beforehand and obviously didn’t do it and were trying to rush chill items for service. What really took the cake was how they handled the end of the night. They were supposed to rinse the dishes and place them back in the boxes they came in. I had so much beautiful China that I provided for dinner service that they literally threw on the lawn, in the rain, with FOOD still on it! The same with all the rental silverware, glassware and linens. Then they left without saying A WORD about when or if they would ever be coming back. My coordinator was out there at all hours sorting through everything to just get it out of the rain! They left their trailer and equipment and apparently came back to retrieve it the next day. Kathyrn had so many excuses and so much blame to put on other people, her last email with me was the most unprofessional thing I have ever seen, DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY, THEY WILL RUIN YOUR WEDDING AND WHEN YOU COMPLAIN THE OWNER WILL ACCUSE AND INSULT YOU.
