We worked with Ken for our July 2022 wedding. He brought an indiscribable energy to our incredibly stressful and hectic day and treated us like friends rather than wedding clients. I highly recommend using Ken Hild as your photographer! I got married 4/30 at Larkfield and he was so excited to get detailed pictures, he is very creative and enthusiastic. Where can I start! Ken is an amazing photographer! He is so goofy and fun I love it. My husband is not really a fan of taking photos but Ken made it all work! It was such an incredible experience from booking him to our engagement shoot and then our wedding. Ken has a way of always bringing energy to the day. We met Ken at a wedding showcase and he stood out right away. He was the only one that caught our attention. He made a late night appointment with us to sit down and go over everything because both my husband and I were working late hours and it was great. Then we scheduled time to have our engagement shoot and that was amazing also. Ken was running late from the prior shoot but he called us and made sure we were aware. Just before our wedding on Monday, Ken gave us a call to go over timing and everything. He is very open with explaining his timelines which I love. He was at my house around 10:45am and started right away. My husband had a 2nd photographer at his house so that he can have his get ready photos taken. Both Ken and Mike worked extremely well together that day bringing us beautiful photos for our memories. Thank you so much. Can’t wait to work on our albums!

Having Ken as our engagement and wedding photographer was by far the best and easiest decision we made during our wedding planning process. From the first time we met Ken during our engagement shoot, we clicked right away and he had us laughing the entire time. He takes so much pride in his work and the photos were absolutely perfect. Ken spent over 11 hours with us for our wedding and his energy and commitment continued the entire time. He does whatever needs to be done to get the perfect shot. Whether that is getting into an awkward position or standing in the freezing cold; Ken 100% makes it happen. We can’t thank Ken enough for all he did for our wedding. We got married at Land’s End on October 2nd, and our wedding photos came out AMAZING! They were better than I could have ever imagined them being. Kenny took our photos and he was so nice and we communicated with Ken throughout the process and he was awesome. Seriously blown away by the amazing quality.

Masking us laugh and making us more and more comfortable. The whole vibe between the photographers and videographer was great. Because we were so ahead of time, we got sooo many photos and video footage they all said “we’ve never taken this many photos of a couple before and been to this many places at the venue for photos before” this made us so happy!

First off, I will say...Ken Hild is the best of the best. Almost instantly, my husband and I chose Ken as our wedding photographer (quite literally, as we booked him during our first meeting). Throughout the planning process, Ken was always there to answer questions, and put our mind at ease, as planning a wedding during a pandemic was stressful enough. Fast forward to the week of our wedding, Ken worked with us to create a near-flawless day-of plan and shot list, which he executed on completely. Ken and his assistant Mike were fun, made us laugh, and most importantly, made us all feel comfortable while taking 11 hours of photos. Throughout the day, Ken did everything possible to get the perfect shot, and I can tell you, he not only got one perfect shot, but hundreds. As we got the photos sent to us, we were able to relive the best day ever through the outstanding work of Ken and Mike. I could not recommend Ken Hild Photography enough!

If I could give Ken more than 5 stars - I would. There is not enough good things to say about how amazing Ken is at what he does. From remembering every shot I asked for to laying in bushes to make sure he gets the PERFECT shot - he does it all! We used him for our engagement shoot and fell in love with his work and literally planned our postponed wedding due to covid around dates he was available. I have nothing else but amazing things to say. Even with our families - he just clicks with everyone to make your day perfect.

Hands down Ken is absolutely AMAZING!!! I didn't get my photos back yet I just got married last Friday but I already know they are going to be amazing. Ken is such a great person. We sat down with Ken back in 2019 and we knew immediately that he was the one. We didn't even meet with anyone else. We left got in the car didn't even fully pull out of this parking lot and we called him to book. Ken is very personable makes you feel comfortable very out going funny and nice. My fiancé and I hired Ken and his team after seeing samples of many photographers, once we saw his work we knew he would capture our day perfectly. His photos are all natural and no cheesy editing effects like fake sunlight. He made sure we were out there for pictures at the perfect times to capture what we were looking for. Another thing we truly appreciated were the candid photos and not so many staged pictures but also loved that fact that throughout our whole day it was like we knew each other for years, a real down to earth professional. Also major bonus points when we found out our date is also his anniversary.

We hired Ken Hild for our wedding day pictures. He is an amazing photographer! He really captured the perfect moments in every picture taken. He kept the bridal party in order the whole day, super helpful. He also created a very helpful timeline for the whole day. He was always available by phone or email with questions. Ken was one of my favorite vendors! He was absolutely wonderful to work with. I originally met him when I was a bridesmaid at my friend’s wedding and he was the photographer. If you have ever been a bridesmaid, you know - that’s the perfect way to see how the photographer works his/her magic from start to finish! I knew I had to hire him when it was my turn to be a bride. The morning of the wedding, Ken arrived (early) and immediately got to work. He provided great direction, allowed requests, and was polite, kind, and comical!! He kept us laughing! So glad we went with Ken for our wedding photos. Super energetic guy who is funny and loves what he does. Gets amazing shots and always has everybody smiling for the photos. Very skilled in his craft, photos look awesome and the lighting is always great. Absolutely nothing but nice things to say about our experience with him.

We liked his style of photography (not overly edited or posed), he had a lot of experience shooting at our venue Lands End, would not charge extra to do engagement pics near NYC, and had a lot of energy. He was very fun to work with for both the engagement pictures and on the wedding day due to his goofy personality and high level of energy. We did our engagement shoot at Gantry Plaza State Park in Long Island City. He did enjoy saying inappropriate things to loosen us up so that took some getting used to. I was not overly thrilled with his response rate via email at times. I wish I would have reviewed the wedding timeline in greater detail beforehand with him because we were pulled away from our cocktail hour and reception more than I would have liked. He also spelled my name wrong on the website where he posted our wedding pictures, so that was annoying. We got our pictures back a little over 6 weeks after the wedding but they came out amazing.

Ken is the absolute best! He is such an amazing and comical guy who made our engagement shoot and wedding day photos a breeze to take. Ken is an amazing professional who is an expert in his field. His work is amazing and he always pays such close attention to detail. I have and continue to tell all of my friends and family about Ken and his work! Ken Hild is just the best. Himself and his two other photographers made sure we got all our family and party pictures done all beforehand so we can enjoy everything. My now husband doesn't like getting his picture taken but Ken worked his magic and i can't believe all the amazing pictures I got of him actually looking at the camera! Ken was a great wedding photographer! My husband and I weren't sure if we wanted a wedding photographer because we didn't want someone following us around. We are very glad that we ended up hiring Ken. He listened to us and really catered it to our needs. He was able to capture all of the special moments. I loved meeting Ken and his photographers at an expo. For photography I was completely clueless what to look for in a company. I luckily found 2 companies that I connected with so well and had the right packages for me. While I didn't pick the cheapest, I definitely got excellent quality. Our photographer Ken P did our engagement shoot and we had an absolute blast with him. He kept us engaged and comfortable. I was slightly nervous how the wedding day would turn out with our timing, we had such a tight schedule. But they worked so well with everyone that everything we did had us ahead of schedule. I can not say enough wonderful things about Ken. Ken was awesome when it came to seeing exactly what and when things should be photographed. He was clever and fun to work with and the few shots he did show us were incredible. From the minute we saw Ken’s photography and met the man himself, we fell in love. Ken Hild’s outgoing and spunky personality is outstanding. He is easy to talk with and always trying to lend a helping hand in the wedding process. Ken is truly a photographer and a wedding planner all in one. I’m not joking— Ken developed a day-of schedule for us and walked us through the logistics of how everything will happen. He is part of the reason why my wedding day ran so smoothly. My party was extremely large (10 bridesmaids, 10 groomsmen, and our immediate families). Ken was able to keep everyone moving and get as many pictures as he could which if anyone knows our hectic families, that is difficult! We also told Ken that we didn’t want to miss cocktail hour so Ken was there bright and early and stayed to the very end making sure we were able to get all our photos in before sun set and got us there right on time for cocktail. My husband and I were so pleased. He brought with him his assistant Mike who was equally as amazing and just as awesome as Ken himself. The two of them worked so well together and I was soooo happy to have them both there. Ken has this ability to capture those little moments that emphasize the love a couple has for each other and you can tell that Ken truly takes pride in making sure every photo is as perfect as the next. Our engagement photos came out stunning and everything I ever imagined. I haven’t received the photos from my wedding day yet (it was only a few days ago) but I will tell you I have no doubt that he has captured beautiful photos of the love my husband and I shared on our wedding day. Ken shot our 10/5/18 wedding at Land’s End and we are very happy with having booked him. Ken was the right guy for the job...we needed someone to work VERY quickly given that we weren’t doing a first look and really only had a little over an hour in between the ceremony and cocktail hour for photography. Ken and his assistant (Ken squared as we affectionately nicknamed them) were professional, knowledgeable, efficient and quick. We are very much so not the pose-y “comfortable in front of the camera” types and Ken did a great job getting us out of our awkwardness and making it really fun for us. From our first meeting, to our engagement shoot, to our wedding day we found it a pleasure to work with Ken. Ken did an amazing job capturing great pictures that we will cherish for a lifetime! If you weren’t sure who to book with, trust us, GO WITH KEN!

Words can not describe how perfectly Kenny is able to capture every single moment and feeling of your wedding day. As a bride, it’s so hard to be aware of everything going on, especially when you have a wedding of 230 guests. Where do I begin with Ken? He is not only the best at what he does, but he was absolutely amazing at capturing every moment of my day. I had a tight schedule of not wanting to miss my cocktail hour and he managed to get every photo, which I am very particular about, and even more. I was able to get my beach, golf course, windmill, etc. photos without missing my cocktail with family. He made sure to get every detail and every single picture of random family members I wanted. Ken is the most amazing photographer I met. He is easy going and makes you feel comfortable taking the millions of photos you take on such a crazy day. I unfortunately fell two weeks before my wedding day but Ken was super supportive of my inability to move quickly. He made me feel extremely comfortable. Ken and his assistant Ken were awesome! I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for a photographer. I got married in January 2018, the coldest day of the year and the day after a blizzard. Ken made it so much fun and his work is great! Ken Hild is an amazing photographer!! The packages he offers are very well priced compared to other photographers we looked at & his work is just outstanding! His personality is so friendly, you can't help but laugh & have a great time while working with him. Over the summer we did our engagement shoot with him since this was included in the package we choose. He got those pictures back to us very quickly so we could use them for our Save the Dates. The day of our wedding he arrived on time & was very professional. He did all of the pictures we asked him too & some he thought would be great & they were! Towards the end of the night it started snowing...Ken was thrilled to set up outside & capture us in the snow! He also posted a sneak peek of our pictures on Facebook about 2 weeks after the wedding, which was so fun that all our family & friends could share that with us! I would recommend Ken again & again!

Kenny did an outstanding job! He does top notch professional photography! This is not IPhone X quality, but true magazine cover quality work and after photo touch ups as well! I have known Kenny over 20 years he studied photography at FIT in NYC! He understands proper lighting, background settings, shadows and all else to make “ANYONE PHOTOGENIC” Real top quality! He also has great deal of patience to make sure every shot comes out right!! GREAT JOB!!

Ken is an AMAZING photographer! It was obvious from our first interview with him that Ken was our guy. His down-to-earth nature and sense of humor put my husband and I at ease that he would be the perfect addition to our wedding venue team. We had gotten engagement photos with him an my husband and I spent the whole session laughing, it was such a fun day and Ken was a huge part of that. We received our photos soon afterwards and were beyond impressed; it was obvious we had the right choice. They were so good in fact, we used his photos for our save the dates. Leading up to the big day, Ken was probably the most organized of all of our vendors. He had a set timeline months in advance which became the guideline for all of the other venues. He was quick to respond to all of my emails and was always organized. We couldn't have asked for more on our wedding day. Everyone loved him--our family, our wedding party, guests, and most importantly other venues. It was easy to smile when Ken was around and I know both sides of the wedding party have fond memories from the whole day. About a month after our ceremony we had preview wedding pictures available and less than two months after the ceremony we had all of our photos. I am floored at how well the photos came out, Ken truly has a talent. He caught so many special moments, I am so grateful that they are forever immortalized. I honestly don't know how I am going to pick photos for my wedding album. Frankly, I could rave about Ken forever and it wouldn't do him any justice--if you hire Ken you won't be disappointed!!

Ken Hild was great to work with! We had a very large bridal party-which could be a daunting task getting 20 people quiet and smiling to take pictures! Ken had a great sense of humor and his high energy was infectious. We really wanted someone who knew the grounds of Giorgio’s because there are so many phot ops. Ken knew exactly what would look good and where to go. Ken doesn’t mind doing whatever it takes to get the best shots. He was lying on the ground, up on a latter, leaning over a stairwell. We couldn’t be happier with how our pictures came out. I don’t know how we are going to pick from all the incredible photos for our album.

Ken was our photographer for our wedding in September and he did a great job! While getting ready I felt overwhelmed that we were running behind due to hair and make up, but Kens excellent planning and timeline gave for extra time and helped keep us on track. He has great ideas for photos and is very efficient. He also did our engagement shoot over the holidays the year prior. It was 20 degrees out the morning of our wedding and even though we were freezing we took pictures in Port Jefferson and has SO much fun, you couldn't even tell that we nearly couldn't feel our faces because it was so cold! Made for some good laughs. We were so thrilled with how the pictures came out for both our engagement shoot and our wedding, it was hard to choose which ones we loved the best. Thank you Ken!!!

As a professional event planner, I have worked with many photographers. When deciding who to use for our wedding I was extremely picky and held my standards very high. Ken and his team did not disappoint and I wouldn’t have wanted to work with anyone else on such a special day. Ken brings an amazing energy to the day and works very quickly. He captures the moment and the day as it unfolds and makes everything feel easy and natural. On our wedding day there was an amazing sunflower field that had not been harvested and we took full advantage of it for pictures. Even with the extra stop Ken and his team were able to stay on track and get EVERYONE (our family, the bridalparty and ourselves) to cocktail hour on time! During the reception they are always there to capture every moment, but do so without you ever noticing or feeling like they are in the way. Pete Galgano is from Wedding Cinema and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else to work with Ken than Pete and his team. The two work flawlessly with each other and make the day go extremely smooth. They keep you laughing the entire day and they never missed a single moment. If you want not only amazing pictures and video, but great company and great people to be surrounded by – Ken and Pete is honestly your dream team. I am forever grateful to them for capturing our day so perfectly.

Ken is the best! Ken was the perfect photographer for us! We are not the type to be the center of attention. Ken was so funny and entertaining that we had no problem smiling and laughing for our photos. He was easy to work with, quick with all my emails/texts, and timely with our event. His vast knowledge allowed us to get every single photograph we could possibly imagine and more!

Ken is an amazing photographer. He kept us relaxed and laughing throughout the whole day which was great, especially during some of the more stressful periods. He went above and beyond for our wedding photos, no matter how cold it was the day of our wedding he was right there with us outside getting the shots I had dreamed of. I don't think many photographers would lay down in the snow just to be able to give you that award winning shot, Ken did and it is hands down the best winter wedding photo ever! My Husband and I would highly recommend Ken! As we walked out of our first meeting with Ken, we knew we wanted him to photograph our Wedding that took place this past April and it was during our Engagement shoot in Montauk we knew we made the right choice. Ken is not only professional, but has a great sense of humor that really put us at ease during our engagement shoot - it's not every day you take formal photos, but Ken made the experience so fun and needless to say, the pictures came out amazing. Kenny Pierce shot our wedding and we could not have been happier with our experience and the final photos. Kenny was incredibly professional. He has a light-hearted affable nature that kept me and my husband at ease. He did a great job of staging formal photos and somehow always popped up at the right moment for the perfect candid. My husband and I did not have a specific list of shots we wanted and weren’t exactly sure what to ask for. Kenny’s experience and creativity gave us a great mix of romantic stills, beautiful family photos and a variety of fun shots (which admittedly are my favorite). Most importantly, the photos look incredible. We have already spent hours trying to decide which photos are our favorites and which ones we want to put in albums and there are just too many great ones from which to choose. There are not enough good things to say about Ken Hild and his Assistant Ken. My wife and I had our wedding on a very rainy September day. Ken came ready to work to make our photos as good as they could be with all the rain and that is exactly what he did. Our photos came out beyond perfect and by looking at them you would never know it rained at all. Ken spent hours of his day out in the rain, getting soaking wet to get our photos, and never once did he give up or not give 100%. They were so professional, funny and outgoing and made everything go so smoothly with the photos. Ken did an awesome job and I'm so excited that we found him. The pictures turned out amazing and Ken was so much fun to work with. Fantastic overall experience. Ken and his team were extremely professional and punctual. The engagement photos were lovely and the wedding pictures exactly what we were looking for. We were blown away by how quickly we got our pictures from him as I have heard from my friends and family that it usually takes much longer than that from other photographers! Definitely consider using Ken and his team in the future, it will be one less thing to worry about if you do!

From start to finish Ken and his team were amazing. He was the first photographer we met and we loved all he had to offer. But, being someone who leaves no stone unturned - I visited many other photographers. My only regret, is that I spent hours still searching, when I met the perfect photographer right off the bat. Ken offers complete packages that have variety of options - it easy to find exactly what we were looking for. Our first experience of working with Ken was our engagement shoot. What I loved the most he helped us pick out the perfect location - I loved that it wasn't at a studio and he didn't limit how far he would travel. The pictures were mailed to me in a few weeks and i loved them. I am also a super organized person and I love what Ken sent over for me to complete. He provides an organized form to record family pictures and anything else they may need to know for the day. I didn't mind filling it out, but I had no idea that it was going to be so helpful the day of. I didn't have to think of a thing - Ken and his assistant had every picture captured. The day of the wedding Ken and his assistant were amazing - they helped everything move smoothly. They were on time and felt more like family than strangers. His great sense of humor helped me and my husband :) smile natural, I am not one for over posed pictures. I love all of my 2000 plus pictures and I can't wait to make my album.

Absolutely amazing!! our photos are breathtaking! Ken and his crew came up with such creative ideas that we never would have thought of ourselves. They were professional and tons of fun. He will make you feel like you are the only bride and groom that he will ever photograph. We were actually shocked and a little hurt when we went to a friends wedding a month later and he gave them the same attention he gave us, we really thought we were the only ones he treated that way! Ken and his team were amazing. You can absolutely tell how passionate he is and he will do anything for a shot! We had an amazing engagement shoot with him. We loved our photos. For our wedding day, he helped plan the timing of the whole day. He and Erika were so much fun to have with us all day, it was like they were part of the family. Our photos came out absolutely stunning. He makes sure you get every shot you want and all the needed family shots. He does this without you and your groom having to miss the party! All our 3000 wedding pictures were amazing. We were so happy with everything he did!

My husband literally just walked in the door one hour ago with the USB of photos that Ken took at our wedding. From the moment we did our engagement shoot I knew Ken was the right pick for us and our families. He is fun, easy going but also knows when he is restricted with time and needs to get serious. My husband HATES photos and never understood why I have an obsession with them, until he saw Ken's photos of us. I cannot express how fantastic Ken and Ken(2) were on our special day. They arrived on time, professional and never skipped a beat. We had a tough day with excessive heat, large families and a complaining bride (me) because of the heat but that did not stop Ken from getting all the shots he knew I would love. We got married at the Atlantis Aquarium in Riverhead and there are some hidden gems surrounding the venue that make really great photo ops that Ken made sure to get. I am thrilled with the overall outcome of all the photos. I now have the daunting task of picking only some of the photos for albums and enlargements... I love them all so it will be difficult! If you are on the fence about Ken - just book him - his prices are some of the most reasonable I've seen and I did some MAJOR shopping around... He's so easy to talk to and really works with you on your wants and needs. At one point I had missed a family photo my mother wanted and I chose to ignore her because it was my day- Ken tracked me down later on in the day and flat out told me I needed to get the family my mother wanted for a picture because he wants all of us to be completely happy with him. He didn't have to do it but he did because he knew it would please my mother and in turn stop her from coming after me LOL! All in all, great guy, great company, beautiful work!

Ken Hild was exceptional for our wedding and engagement photos! Ken has so much energy, it's contagious. My husband is not one to pose for photos etc, but Ken made our engagement shoot and the day of the wedding run smooth, and he did it effortlessly. Ken has an eye for amazing photography, and is so quick to come up with the "perfect shot". We couldn't be any happier with Ken & his team! It's been a year and the pictures are still irritating to look at. Their artistic impression has the most precious pictures sideways, crooked and angled. While I understand artistic impression I would also expect straight pictures then crooked angled pictures, leave the choice to the customer. Look at his own website and make sure angled is what you want. Needless to say we ordered no pictures and wouldn't want anyone to not know his style. Also the rude way he spoke to the brides father was very disrespectful. Family pictures matter. Keeping the bride and groom at the reception and not gone for one hour to take pictures when you've had the opportunity for hours before hand. All in all I would not recommend unless you absolutely make sure your wishes are clear. Patti

Ken Hild and his staff were unbelievable for our wedding! From planning, to the actual day, to everything after! They were so personable and really captured the fun and beauty of our wedding. Being two camera shy people, they really made us feel so comfortable. They were so observant of the small things, like not to let my dad's glasses be on his head during family pictures, or my sister's hair band! They listened to all my requests and concerns and just made everything perfect! I would recommend them to anyone and will absolutely use Ken Hild and staff again in the future!

Ken Hild recently photographed our engagement shoot for our upcoming wedding in July. The shots he got for us were unbelievable.
