Kendra was an AMAZING photographer for our wedding in March! In our planning, which was very thorough and Kendra helped us think through our timeline, we realized it would be just after sunset by the time we could take photos after our ceremony. We came up with a plan for both outdoor and indoor photos, courtesy of many location suggestions from Kendra, and they all turned out phenomenal. We also love the photos on film, which make our memories even more special! We also had the opportunity to work with Trenton for videography and loved his approach to making the film special with interviews of ourselves and our guests - more than just live videos of the photos.

Kendra and Trent were nothing short of amazing. Kendra is so helpful and super responsive. The day of our elopement was nothing short of perfect. Through the rain and mud, I never felt rushed to “fit” in our “allotted” time, and she really captured our memories in the most perfect way.

Kendra is absolutely amazing! She captured our special day more beautifully than I ever could have imagined! She is so kind and warm spirited.

Kendra is truly our family photographer at this point. She just happened to be the second photographer at our wedding, and now she has done maternity, newborn, family, and Christmas photos for us! She is beyond accommodating, kind and forever has the best attitude. Our family loves her and her work!

Kendra was so amazing. She helped find the perfect location for our engagement photos and took her time with us, taking a million pictures. She was just as excited for us and made us feel so special. She was very professional and got us our photos back in no time. She also gives a little extra with her Polaroid camera and we got to keep those photos as a perfect keepsake. Kendra was such a dream to work with! She made us feel so comfortable and captured so many beautiful moments and important details of our day. The photos were so perfect and I loved that she took polaroids so that we had immediate physical mementos of the day. I can’t recommend her enough!

Kendra was amazing for our wedding! We did a small ceremony in red river gorge and she captured everything perfectly. Kendra was so sweet to all of our guests and made everyone feel comfortable. She took pictures of my mother and mother-in-law of themselves that they both love, which is an almost impossible feat.

Kendra did a fantastic job capturing our elopement reception in November! She made everyone feel so comfortable getting their picture taken which made the photos look so natural and effortlessly beautiful. Her documentary style created more beautiful candids of our favorite people and less stiff posed formal shots, although she made those look lovely and relaxed too. Overall she was fantastic to work with and made us feel so comfortable hiring her from our initial facetime to the day of and we have the most beautiful photos to cherish forever as a result of her artistry. I would highly recommend Kendra for your photography needs!

We cannot recommend Kendra enough! She and Trent were a delight to work with and our wedding photos could not have turned out more beautiful. I am not someone who usually enjoys having my picture taken, but Kendra made me feel super comfortable, gave us great direction (my husband and I are not experts when it comes to posing haha) and she made sure to remind us to relax and just enjoy the best day of our lives - something that is easy to forget when a million different things are going on! She also worked with us on a timeline of our entire day, and helped try to keep us on schedule which was extremely appreciated. Her and Trent also tackled the unexpected like true professionals. It poured down rain about 5 minutes before our ceremony was going to start, and they got some beautiful pictures of the sky as well as some of the chaos that came with it, which is such a fun memory to look back on. My husband forgot the rings at his getting ready location, so Trent was not able to get the detail pictures he had planned but instead was able to get some great pictures of the guys all hanging out and having fun (and I can’t thank Kendra enough for not letting me know what was going on at the time😂). They also stuck with us through the 90+ degree heat - I was a sweaty mess but Kendra is a magician and you can’t even tell with our pictures! We can’t thank them enough for how smoothly they made our day, and most of all for how perfect our photographs came out! It was the happiest day of our life, and Kendra truly captured that in our photos. Thank you Kendra and Trent!

I am so grateful for the happiness and love Kendra captured in our wedding photos (proposal, engagement, rehearsal, and wedding). My husband and I got married in April 2023. We used Kendra and Trent for photography, which was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We also used Kendra for our engagement photos. The five star rating says it all. They were wonderful to work with and the photos were beautiful! Highly recommend.

Kendra is a gem and I’m so glad we hired her to take pictures of our reception. She did a great job of making us feel comfortable, giving us guidance, and communicating with us throughout the whole process. My husband and I got married in May 2023. We spent a lot of time trying to find the right photographer for our wedding because neither of us are very comfortable getting photos taken. I had an initial phone call with Kendra and immediately knew she was the perfect person for us. She was so sweet and personable, but very professional at the same time. From the first call, she was on top of everything related to the wedding day, including a timeline with all the photos that we wanted. Kendra even looked up the sunset on our wedding day and made sure to grab us at the perfect time for a few more photos. In addition to making our day run smoothly, Kendra and Trent made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which was huge for us. I was worried we would look awkward or posed, but our photos are STUNNING. We did indoor photos at our industrial venue as well as outdoor photos at a park, and all of them turned out amazing, especially the sunset photos! We absolutely loved working with Kendra and Trent, and we can't thank them enough for capturing our day so beautifully.

We could not have asked for a better group of people to help capture our special day! From the very first time we met Kendra and Trent (out at sea on a whale voyage!) we knew they were the ones! We have a very large, non-traditional family and attendees at the wedding ranging from 3 to 86 years old from all over the country. They were able to capture the most amazing moments and were so non-invasive and laid back. They even got out on the dance floor and stayed for a few extra songs! Thank you! if I could give 6 stars I would!!

We found Kendra through mutual connections and were drawn to her by her warm approachability as well as being a great ally to shoot our wedding (not to mention her great portfolio!) to say that we were blown away by the pictures she captured is an understatement. We had an intimate backyard wedding and Kendra captured it beautifully as well as got great pictures with all our family for us to remember our special day. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough!

We got married at the end of August, aside from saying I do to my husband, hiring Kendra was the best decision I made. Communication and planning leading up to the date was easy, Kendra was really responsive and helped guide us through what we wanted for the day. My husband and I both lived out of town so we met her and her husband on the day of our wedding and they were absolutely lovely. She was easy going, helpful and reassuring. We had never taken professional photos before and Kendra made us feel at ease, we laughed and had a great time going to beautiful locations around the property she had pre-selected. She gave us preview pictures immediately after the wedding and they were beautiful!! Once we got the entire set (there were a ton of photos!), there were so many great shots, it's hard to choose our favorites. Our wedding book was high quality and beautifully curated to depict the day. Do yourself a favor and go with Kendra, she is more than worth it!!!

My husband and I hired Kendra and Trent for our wedding in Oct. 2022. They were AMAZING! I am very awkward when it comes to photos, but they made me feel very comfortable. Kendra & Trent were very professional, approachable, and flexible. When planning our wedding, I had some idea of what I wanted for photos, but since I am awkward and I don't necessarily love being in front of a camera, they were able to photograph the entire wedding to where we could be in the moment and felt very relaxed and comfortable. They were capturing images we hadn't even thought about. They took the guess work out of it, which put us at ease. They had everything covered and were a joy to work with. When we finally saw our wedding photos, we were blown away. They were perfect. We loved that they had color, black & white, and other options as well. The photographs were stunning and when looking through them we felt like we were reliving that day. They didn't miss a single moment from getting ready to the end of the reception. They covered everything and the pictures show that. In regards to communication, out of all of the vendors, they were the easiest and quickest ones to respond. No matter what questions we had or what we needed, Kendra was always available and quick to respond. We had issues finding vendors due to distance, COVID, etc. Kendra was able to supply us with a list of vendors she has worked with and was even helpful when two of my vendors canceled last minute (those vendors did not come from her list). Overall, Kendra and Trent were amazing and we highly recommend them. We loved them so much we plan to hire them again for other photograph needs.

Kendra is beyond amazing!! My wedding photos are everything I dreamed of and more. She was amazing to work with and made the entire experience enjoyable. Kendra is extremely professional and the sweetest photographer in town! She also did my boudoir photos and those turned out amazing, as well! I would give her 10 stars if i could!!

My second best YES besides my husband!!! I didn’t stumble upon Kendra (& Trent) - I sought them out. I knew I wanted their candid/lifestyle photography style to capture our special day! From the second we created our contract to them packing up their equipment to leave, I saw nothing but professionalism and warmth from such nice, good people! We had an intimate family wedding with less than 30 people and you would never know they were strangers! I would hire them again I could do it all over - I wished I lived closer to take advantage of other photos with Kendra and I can confidently say I WILL have another shoot happen with her some day! This review is a long time coming! We booked Kendra and Trent originally for our Fall 2020 wedding reception…of course we had to move the wedding and reschedule for Summer 2021. To start, Kendra kindly rescheduled to photograph our wedding the next year with no fees - when many other vendors were not as generous. On top of that, we had completed our engagement photos with her, and loved them SO much that we decided to not only book her for our reception, but also for our wedding in Mexico! When she told me that her and Trent were able to make it, it made me so much more excited for the trip. Photography was the one big thing for us, and we saw it as an investment to capture these special memories for years and generations to come. Fast forward to July 2021 - Kendra and Trent came with us to Cancun! They traveled down with us on the same day, and were so kind and friendly with my friends and my family. My dad (who hates traveling) enjoyed talking with Trent so much that we often found him hanging out with him during the trip! All of my friends/family were so impressed with how kind and professional they both were. On our wedding day, they quite literally kept everything on schedule, especially when the resort seemed to move on island time. If they wouldn’t have been there, we wouldn’t have gotten married until it was dark outside 😂. Both my husband and I both were so impressed with their calm nature and ability to keep us on track without being annoyed. Kendra truly kept me from having an anxiety attack multiple times. The pictures that Kendra and Trent took were amazing, breathtaking, and captured our day so beautifully. They honored the location, the flowers, and our group so perfectly. Some of my favorite pictures are the candids that they captured of friends and family at the reception - and sharing those pictures with guests was so special. Whenever I’m sad or having a bad day or just want to think about a happy place, I look at our photos. They bring us so much joy! I am proud to share them and show them off to literally anyone that asks. Whether you have a destination wedding (or not) you should absolutely add Kendra to your list for photography. She’s kind, professional, accommodating, and helped everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I’m looking forward to our next excuse for pictures so that I can book her again!

Kendra took our engagement picture and I still swoon over them. I was so nervous going into it and she really makes it effortless. My husband and I felt natural and the photos captured were so authentic to us. She knows how to capture your special moments beautifully!

I am not married but I would get married for the sole purpose of having Kendra take my photos.

It’s been a couple of years now since Kendra did an in-home session for my wife and I - every time I look back at those photos I am transported to exactly who we were at that time in our lives in the most perfect way. She made us feel so comfortable and the images are beautiful and authentic.

We had a wonderful experience with Kendra and Trent. We hired them to photograph our wedding. They were an incredible team -- capturing the mood of the day (as rain clouds swept across the sky). We loved how they captured the joy and fun of our big families. We were nervous about planning a wedding out-of-state, but Kendra was easy to communicate with and very detailed. We are so happy! Highly recommend!

Kendra did both our engagement and wedding photos, and my husband and I could not have dreamed of a better experience! When I inquired about pricing, she sent a short video along with a few personalized quotes to introduce herself and explain our options which was a really nice, personal touch starting out. We had to reschedule our engagement photos a couple times because of the weather, and Kendra was so accomodating and nice about it. She even got us our sneak peeks really fast because she knew we wanted to use one for our invitations. My husband and I aren’t big picture people normally, but she made us feel so comfortable and relaxed during the session. She was phenomenal at our wedding too! She got so many great candid shots and did a really good job of setting up the posed shots so they still looked natural and comfortable. We had a very small wedding, and she did an amazing job of capturing all the little moments we want to remember with our closest friends and family. Kendra’s communication was great throughout the entire process, and the final results were perfect! We have no complaints and will absolutely hire her again in the future!

Kendra was the best wedding photographer we could have asked for! She was so friendly and chill in our initial conversations and planning sessions, and so receptive to what we hoped to get out of our photographs. Kendra was absolutely perfect on the day of our wedding, a small (~20 people) ceremony at a BNB in the country. She was as easy to get along with in person as on our phone calls and blended in so naturally with our family and friends. She had great instincts for following our vague instructions, but then getting us to try different approaches for the pictures that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. She took pictures using a variety of cameras and formats (digital, analog film, instant polaroid pictures, black and white, color), which was super cool, and the end results were perfect. Kendra so beautifully captured so many different moments and facets of the day. We will cherish her pictures always. We cannot recommend her services strongly enough.

We got married in March. I’ve been thinking about what I would include in this review ever since, and I’m still having trouble finding the words to convey just how incredible Kendra and Trent are. Kendra shot our engagement photos, my boudoir session, and we were lucky enough to get the two of them to shoot the happiest day of our lives. Kendra’s work immediately stood apart from other work I’ve seen from photographers in Louisville and I was thankful because she was also more affordable than others. Rather than sending an automatic email response when I inquired about her services, she recorded a video that addressed my questions in a personal, down to earth way. That’s honestly what sealed the deal for me. The wedding planning process is incredibly overwhelming, and I was working and going to school at the time. But she reassured me (multiple times) when she could tell I needed it. She’s not just a talented photographer, she’s a good person. My husband was also very comfortable around her after our first photo shoot and that’s HUGE. She gives great direction that feels natural and authentic. That was super appreciated because we’re probably the most awkward couple on the planet. When she found out our fur baby was staying down the street from where our engagement session was taking place, she spontaneously offered to include photos with him too! They were so accommodating. Trent saved the day when Kyle’s button popped off of his tuxedo before the ceremony and she saved the day when I was afraid I smelled icky before hugging guests at the reception. And when we went off site after the ceremony, it was a wonderful chance to get away from all of the excitement to regain our composure. It felt like we went on a drive with friends, but they were incredibly professional at all times. I can’t imagine a better team. I could never say enough good things about them. We have received numerous compliments on our wedding photos including words like, “phenomenal” and “breathtaking”, and we literally couldn’t agree more. When Kyle and I conceive after we move across the country, we’re 100% flying Kendra out for maternity photos. We have zero complaints. None. And our expectations were exceeded. There are a handful of vendors that were kind to us until we signed their contracts, and then they weren’t very kind. Kendra and Trent were essentially the only genuine vendors we worked with. If you’re looking for wedding photographers, search no further. Seriously.

I have had the BEST experience with Kendra Farris Photography as our photographer for our wedding! Kendra is such a fun laid back personality. We immediately felt like we chose the right vendor because of Kendra's contact form. It was just like a conversation you would have with friends. Then you see their photos and it was the easiest yes for our vendor list. They are so incredibly talented and so easy to work with. We were a little unknowing of what we wanted and somehow through our half put together ideas Kendra knew exactly what we were thinking. Words cannot even begin to explain how blessed we feel to have had Kendra as our wedding photographer. My husband and I got married in 2020 and had to plan and re-plan over three times. Kendra was not our original photographer (we tried but she was already booked,) but once we changed our date we checked with her immediately. She, knowing we lost some in deposits, worked with us to come up with a personalized package close to what we had with our original photographer. She was so sweet and understanding and available to chat and talk things through whenever I needed her. We ended up having a very small ceremony with “reception” at my parents’ house and she talked through everything with me, made my timeline for me and helped me envision the day. She absolutely saved my wedding. The pictures are everything I could have ever imagined and more as well. I love that she captures the raw moments and emotions and does not over-filter or edit the photos as some photographers nowadays seem to do. Her turnaround time was crazy impressive too. Oh, her husband Trent even videotaped our ceremony for a very reasonable price. He also took some amazing pictures of the groomsmen getting ready and dealt with all their shenanigans like a champ!! The video was amazing as well – not that we expected anything less 😊

My husband and I both highly recommend Kendra. We cant say enough good things! From the moment we filled out the inquiry on the website every communication we received was so personalized and made us feel so special. We also had her husband, Trent, film our wedding ceremony and the quality was amazing. It gave our family something to make them feel apart of the day without the risk due to Covid. I always feel so uncomfortable having my photo taken and typically it ends up showing in photos but Kendra made me feel so relaxed from the very start, like I have known her for years. You can tell Kendra genuinely cares about your experience, wants you to have fun, feel comfortable, and get great photos. I ended up with so many great photos that I don't know how I am going to pick which ones to print and display in my house. I also got everything back super quick. It only took a little over a week which made things even more exciting since my family wasn't there and they got to view everything so quickly after our ceremony. I have received so many compliments from everyone. The price for everything was super reasonable as well. I am so glad I found Kendra and will 100 percent recommend her to anyone that needs a photographer.

I was probably most nervous about my photographer when planning my wedding. I had this idea that photographers would be pushy and make me feel anxious in front of the camera. But as soon as I met Kendra I knew it would be great. I had actually planned on working with another photographer first but after their lack of response compared to Kendra's I knew she was the right pick. Before the wedding I did a budoir shoot with Kendra. This was probably one of the most vulnerable experiences of my life and she made me feel so confident and comfortable. when it came to the wedding, Kendra went above and beyond to make the day special. We had to change the wedding date due to changes with my husbands deployment schedule and she had no problem accommodating it. Her presence at the wedding was so seamless and it felt like she was just part of the group. She got us previews within 24 hours of the wedding. I was so happy with those I couldn't wait to get the final product. When we saw the final pictures we were blown away by every detail she managed to capture. Not only did she capture wonderful pictures of my husband and me, her pictures captured the whole day and all the little moments between my family and friends. Kendra is nothing short of amazing!!! Wedding pictures are A LOT of pressure and she handles it all with grace and confidence. She KNOWS what she is doing. She makes you feel so comfortable as a couple. She is kind, understanding, personable, easy to work with, price is very reasonable, trustworthy and FAST! OMG she had a sneak peak to us with in 24 hours! She is pure joy to work with and I will be hiring her again for future pictures because I think that highly of her! I am so thankful she was our photographer for our wedding. I don't have a single negative thing to say about her. She just amazing. Book her and you will not regret it!

Wow wow wow!! What an amazing photographer. Kendra (and Trent) went absolutely above and beyond to make our day so special. We had to change our wedding multiple times due to covid and other Louisville circumstances. Including the week of, our second venue closed. They were so flexible, even adjusting finances once we decided to downsize everything. The day of, they went to our venue early to find the most beautiful photo spots. They made us feel so comfortable and really captured every moment, even the moments you wouldn’t imagine. I can’t say enough good things about them because our wedding photo preview left us speechless!! Highly highly recommend 🥰

Highly highly highly recommend Kendra to do your wedding photos! I’ve always been super self conscious and hated pictures. I was so worried that I was going to hate every single one of my wedding photos, but that was not the case. I LOVED every single one of them! She made me feel very relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera. If I could give 100 stars, I would.

Kendra and her husband were great to work with for our wedding in August! After having to postpone our original wedding date due to COVID, our original photographers were not available on our reschedule date. So mid-April we were scrambling to find a new photographer who was available and did great work. We sent an inquiry to Kendra, and I'm pretty sure within the hour I heard back from her. She is SO responsive! She will always answer your call, text, email, etc. In times of chaos (AKA wedding planning), it's great to work with very professional and reliable vendors. Her pricing for the quality of her and her husband's work is incredibly competitive. They really go the extra mile, too! If she sends you your pictures, and you want them maybe edited a little more or differently, she'll do it, no questions asked. She'll send pictures to all your vendors (with your prior approval) too. They really were just so friendly and easy to work with!

Kendra (and Trent) were the first photographers my now-husband and I met with for our engagement/wedding and after that meeting we were sold and didn't feel like we had to look any further! They instantly put us at ease about the entire process and were very transparent and clear about costs and what to expect from signing a contract with them. Kendra and Trent do an amazing job at making awkward, semi camera shy people like myself feel comfortable being photographed. :) They give great directions and advice before and during the photoshoot to make you feel comfortable. After we got our engagement gallery + a little family mini session with my stepkids, and saw the caliber of work that Kendra and Trent produce, we were so excited to see what our wedding photos would look like. Our wedding plans got completely changed due to COVID-19, and throughout the entire process of rescheduling/postponing and figuring it all out, Kendra was extremely flexible and accommodating and always quick to answer questions. We decided last minute to add on a video of the ceremony to our contract and don't regret it at all! We plan to show the video at our reception/one year party with all of our guests next year and it is also just a great keepsake to have. I could go on and maybe I will when we do our big thing next year :) but I will just say that Kendra is an amazing photographer and a kind soul, and we will definitely be calling on her to photograph our family for years to come!
