I know all brides say that their weddings are the most beautiful, but OURS. WAS. We got married in a rush of several family weddings, and at each of these other weddings, people pulled my husband and I aside to say, "yes, this wedding is nice, ...but YOUR wedding...!" The photos you see of Kingheart Farm do NOT do it justice. It is a beautiful space and the very definition of rustic chic. The barn itself is lovely (the chandeliers--oh, my heart!) The bar set up is great. The bridal quarters and groomsmen's quarters are fantastic! Also, she will tell you if you visit about the cross-breeze if you open the barn--and I can tell you YES, it's true! Every time we were there the cross-breeze was gently blowing and made the space really comfortable! Unlike many barns, this barn was all re-done so it doesn't SMELL like a barn (this maybe doesn't bother some folks, but it was a great bonus!) I could go on about this space for days! There are so many little touches that make the farm so especially beautiful and special. I will just add that my photographer loved the farm and she had so many fabulous places for photos with good lighting and a lot of things she told me about that kind of went over my head.
One of the greatest things about Kingsheart Farm is that you get to work with Terese and Steve--they are both so endlessly kind and helpful, they are willing to share their knowledge with you and work with you to help you make your ideas work in the space. I cannot say enough wonderful things about them! I worked a lot with Terese, especially, and I always felt like she genuinely loved what she does and she has this beautiful space because she wants to help couples make beautiful memories. She always made me feel like she had time to help me, and I wasn't imposing if I had a question (in fairness, I was not a super needy bride, but I really feel this is who she is as a person.) Terese is a gem, and you will not regret having her as a part of your wedding-planning memories!
Terese and Steve also have things that you can rent from the farm for use in your wedding--if you are trying to save some money, I would REALLY recommend considering renting things from them (because how many white painted frames or twinkle lights could you possibly need once you're married?) The rentals were all really reasonably priced and beautiful, and the time and headache you save is WORTH IT! (Take it from someone who learned that along the way!)
The best "extra" we had were some old-fashioned yard games--people LOVED them. We have a really simple happy hour while the bridal party took pictures, and the games added a lot of fun. People raved about how great they were and what a great idea to have them. (I had been on the fence, but it was an amazing choice.)
Truly. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Terese and Steve and Kingsheart Farm. We got married in the summer of 2018 (making this review LONG overdue) but nearly two years in the rearview, I can say, unequivocally, that I would make this choice again. Along with my photographer, I believe choosing Kingsheart Farm was one of the smartest choices we made in the wedding planning process.
I know you will love Kingsheart Farm and the memories you will have there as much as we do!
