Koena (Hawaiian word for „Balance“), is a luxury hair and makeup business operating out of Bay Village, OH. Owner Lina Leikam is a talented hairstylist, makeup artist, and esthetician who brings over a decade of professional experience to every client that she serves. Passionate, creative, and versatile, she strives to help to-be-weds to let their true beauty shine and feel you both comfortable and confident throughout their once-in-a-lifetime celebration. Lina spent years honing her craft in her native country of Germany before moving to Ohio at the end of 2020. She trained in Berlin under Swiss celebrity makeup artist Beni Durrer at one of Europe’s most esteemed cosmetology schools before becoming a freelance beauty professional. Her services include updos, braiding, blow-drying, makeup trials, and more, and she also offers a full range of men’s grooming options.

she delivered! My best friend who happens to have Down syndrome got eyelashes applied for the first time- Lina was patient in the process! When my best friend saw her make up reveal she screamed with excitement!! My entire bridal party looked incredible. Our hair and make up got so many compliments! Lina uses the very best make up and accommodates to skin sensitivities, and is so easy to work with! I would hire Lina again and again! You won’t be disappointed hiring her for any event where you would need hair or make up done!
