I highly recommend Kuhs to everyone looking for a unique wedding, breathtaking views, highly experienced wedding coordinator, stress-free wedding day and venue that works with you to create memories that last a lifetime! If you are reading this review, chances are you are looking for an outdoor venue that will make your wedding day exactly as you imagined. So let me tell you our story with this absolutely astonishing venue & the remarkable individuals who run the show. A family member recommended this captivating venue that was hidden away not far from his work. From the pictures alone, I was already sold. After our tour of the grounds, my wife turned to me and said, “This is it. This is where I want to get married.” We were both official sold! Kuhs is 100% the real deal. Every other venue we visited was pre-packaged, overpriced and honestly pretty generic. Before we knew it, our date was set and the planning had officially began. Elizabeth was very organized, took detailed notes about what we wanted our day to look like, had timely communication and provided informative documentation. Kuhs provided a list available items for the design the ceremony and reception. They also allowed clients to take-on additional decorations they may want to provide themselves, but encouraged less work by the clients to provide a stress free experience. The preferred vendors were truly excellent options that provided quality service! As many other couples experienced in 2020, Covid tossed a pretty big wrench in our original plan. Elizabeth worked with us every step of the way by pro-actively engaging us to create a game plan if our day was not able be what we imaged. The thought of any of her clients not getting the day they dreamed truly broke her heart. It was at this point that it became clear that Elizabeth was very passionate about the experience her clients had at Kuhs. The day of our wedding was truly perfect. Elizabeth & Nick checked in on us/our families/wedding party throughout the entire day. From the moment we arrived she made sure everyone was were they needed to be, directed the wedding party for the ceremony and reception, and popped in for no more than 10-20 seconds once or twice after dinner to make sure we were doing well. She complimented us on how lovely we looked. And gave us heads up on some things. Seriously, looking back on it I barely noticed her but vividly remembered the feeling of being welcomed and cared for the entire day. It was the perfect amount of “I am here if you need anything”, “We got this” and “You look wonderful!” Throughout the entire process, Elizabeth & Nick always made us feel welcome. Any time we had questions or concerns, they were there to help. Whatever we wanted to make of our wedding day, they supported. My wife had multiple modifications to her original decoration plans, but Elizabeth was always willing to work around and help in whatever way possible. Elizabeth always offered tips, tricks and things to think about that would have never crossed our mind. Their goal is to make your wedding everything you could ever dream of and ensure their clients are able to enjoy every minute of their special day. Elizabeth & Nick are not your typical venue hosts. This property has so much history and you better believe Elizabeth knows just about anything there is to know about it! This isn’t just a business or estate & farm, it’s truly a piece of Nick and Elizabeth that they want to share with the world.

There is not a more beautiful, picturesque wedding venue in the St. Louis area than Kuhs Estate & Farm. My husband and I both agree that choosing Kuhs as our wedding venue was hands down the easiest decision we made during the wedding process. Elizabeth, Nick, and their team truly care about their couples SO much. They put so much care and attention into every single detail of every wedding and it shows. Elizabeth took my wedding dreams and made them into a beautiful, perfect reality. My florals and event design were more beautiful than I ever imagined they would be. Every single detail was perfect. Their property is the most beautiful place (and now the most meaningful place) I’ve ever laid my eyes on. From the big oak tree, the sunken rock garden, and the overlook of the river, your eyes will not run out of aesthetically pleasing and charming places to look at. Every inch of the property is breathtakingly beautiful. Having a wedding during the Covid era was not easy, but elizabeth made it not only possible, but made it safe and perfect. Our wedding would not have been the same without Elizabeth. We are so so grateful for her and her amazing team, I truly don’t think the day would have been possible without them.

Words cannot describe our gratitude and love towards Kuhs Farm, Elizabeth, Nick and family. Our wedding at Kuhs was absolutely perfect and full of so much love and happiness! Elizabeth and Nick were exceptionally helpful from the moment we met. They felt like family friends we had known forever, and they welcomed us into their Kuhs family with open arms! Elizabeth is so organized and makes planning a wedding (even during Covid) an absolute dream. I never once felt stressed about the planning aspect because she was there to help guide me every step of the way. Elizabeth and Nick go above and beyond for every wedding, and ours was no exception. Every single detail was beyond what we could have even imagined. Their farm is absolutely stunning at any time of the year. Their care and support for us and everyone else is astounding. They followed the county’s covid guidelines and made sure everyone felt safe during this strange time, and they also made sure everyone felt the love and excitement of our wedding! If I had to plan another wedding during a pandemic I would plan it with them at their venue. If I had to plan a wedding not during a pandemic I would plan it with them at their venue. Bottom line, I would choose them again and again as our wedding venue. Everything was absolutely perfect that day thanks to them. Everyone who attended our wedding has not stopped talking about how breathtakingly beautiful and amazing Kuhs Farm was!! My daughter's wedding at Kuhs Estate and Farm was absolutely magical. From the moment we started planning the event with Elizabeth, we could not have imagined how perfect it would end up. The Estate is absolutely beautiful and Elizabeth's attention to detail is amazing. My daughter's vision for her perfect day came to life... She and her Groom were blown away when they arrived the day of the wedding. Every detail was noticed by our guests from the vintage china, the floral chandeliers, the beautiful table runners, the vintage tables and chairs, the breathtaking moon-gate...just to name a few. Elizabeth is an artist and she completely captured my daughter's vision and brought it to life. This was not just a wedding...it was a magical experience for everyone in attendance. The vendors work in tandem with Elizabeth and her crew to ensure a seamless event. Elizabeth and Nick took on all the pressures of coordinating the day and the vendors so that I was able to enjoy every moment of my daughter's big day...stress free!!! When the sun set, the Estate was just a beautiful at night...the cafe lighting under the tent as well as the illuminated shrubbery around the grounds. At Kuhs Estate you are surrounded by the natural beauty of the property that overlooks the river and you work with people, Elizabeth and Nick, who clearly love what they do.

I was looking for a beautiful outdoor venue close to St. Louis so my guests didn’t have to travel far. Kuhs was the perfect place. Venue owners Elizabeth and Nick are thorough and helpful. I highly recommend Kuhs Farm for a magical, outdoor wedding close to the city.

How do I put into words how amazing our wedding day was?! Luli and Nick did such a fantastic job for our big day. From coordinating all the logistics to planning out the design elements and helping to make my vision a reality, they absolutely nailed it! All of our guests had such a great time and had nothing but compliments for them. To anyone considering Kuhs Farm, I highly recommend them. You will not be disappointed. ❤️

I was able to have the wedding of my dream at Kuhs, all thanks to Elizabeth and her team!! It’s truly amazing how much she cares about each couple that gets married there. She served as our wedding planner in addition to owning the venue, and put SO much time and thought into all of the decor and details. I really didn’t know what I wanted specifically, just had a general idea. She was able to take my vague vision and turn it into a masterpiece. I HIGHLY recommend Kuhs, and am so happy that is where my husband and I chose to get married!

It will be so hard to express my pure love of Kuhs and the staff and owners, but I will try. Talking to Elizabeth initially was almost intimidating, I thought she was a very intense person, and maybe some people never took the time to realize her intensity is out of pure love. She honestly loves her farm and she wholeheartedly loves what she does, working with people on the biggest day of their lives to help celebrate their love is something that you can tell she takes pride in. Her work and the beauty that she puts in to all that she does is nothing short of art. The venue itself is breathtaking, so beautiful in fact, that it was hard to gather my guests at times because they were all walking around taking in the views! The history and love that is ingrained in Kuhs evokes a feeling of serenity and joy. In any review I write I try to write pros/cons. The ONLY con that I can offer to this review is that it is not a venue for the penny pinching couple. The venue is outdoors and historic so everything needs to be rented. Costs add up quickly and were more than than we anticipated, more than the cost of the actual venue actually. That being said, it as all completely honest we were able to talk to the owners about any questions we had. It was also all completely worth it! Our wedding was the most beautiful day of my life and I have not stopped getting compliments from guests! If you want an unforgettable wedding, with a coordinator who cares about your wedding a much as you then you need to look no further.

Kuhs Farm was the first, and last, venue my wife and I looked at when planning our wedding. We knew we wanted an outdoor wedding in the fall and wanted our venue as close to the city as possible for the sake of our guests. After we met Nick and Luli and saw the beautiful property there was no question that Kuhs Farm was our spot! Luli and Nick worked along side us to ensure our wedding day was EXACTLY what we wanted it to be. Every detail was perfect. On our wedding day, Luli was right there to make sure everything went as planned. As we waited for my turn to walk down that hill, I caught Luli off to the side, looking down at the ceremony crying. Before I went down the hill she gave me a big teary hug and told me how happy she was for us and how beautifully our vision had come together. She takes this personally and she reeeeeally cares. We are so grateful that we came across Kuhs Farm on The Knot and even more grateful for the friends we've gained in Luli and Nick.

We could not have asked for a more perfect day for our wedding, and that was solely due to the work of Elizabeth, Nick, and their team, (and Mother Nature!). From helping us conceptualize themes, decor, and overall mood of our day, Elizabeth brought a vision we didn’t even originally know we had, to life. The day of, everything came together so seamlessly, and she even took us aside to take the time to watch the gorgeous sunset - what a special moment she knew we needed to share. Our family and friends can’t stop commenting on the grace and professioanlism of the team and the gorgeous grounds- “best wedding ever” has been thrown out a few times! Growing up I always imagined exactly how I wanted my wedding to look, but I never thought my dream wedding would come true! My husband and I got married at Kuhs on September 28th and it was the most stress free and perfect day. I have had many friends get married in the past couple of years and have listened to their stories of last minute issues and the stress leading up to their wedding, so I was prepared to have a couple of glitches along the way. However, the day was nothing but magical and care free, and we have Elizabeth to thank for that. She is gifted in her creative design talents and constructed the 'enchanted forest' theme wedding I had always envisioned. From her floral arrangements to to set design, the place was beautiful. She and her staff handled the set up, break down, and communications with vendors to make sure the timeline ran smoothly and our only focus was on each other for the day. My husband's grandfather has limited mobility and Elizabeth's husband was there with the golf cart every time he needed to move. We had so many complements on our wedding with people saying it was the most beautiful site and design they have seen. With yard games at cocktail hour, a bonfire when it got chilly at night, to our own personal, secluded candlelight dance in the gazebo, there was something for every one. Elizabeth was able to work with our budget without sacrificing details that were important to us. Though we had our set vision of how we wanted our wedding to look, all the credit goes to Elizabeth for making it come to life and giving us a day that we will always remember as nothing less than perfect!

My husband is from central Missouri and I’m from Illinois, So we chose Kuhs Farm as a good half way point for our wedding. With us both working full time and living in central Illinois, we were only able to go meet with all our venders maybe 1-3 times throughout our planning process(about a year or so) . Let me tell you, Even with only meeting us about 3 times, Elizabeth nailed our wedding perfectly! She really understood our vision for our big day and even added in elements that I didn’t even know I would want until I saw them the day of my wedding! She’s got such an eye for design and does an amazing job of really getting to know her couples to execute a wedding that perfectly reflects both personalities!! I will honestly never forget the feeling of seeing my ceremony and reception area all done up and beautiful before my wedding day!! And Nick, her husband, did such a great job of executing her/our vision and making sure we and our guests were well taken care of all night! They were both so sweet, curteous, professional and fun throughout the entire process! I feel like they are family to us now! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better couple to make our vision come to life!! If you’re like us and really don’t have the time/patience to be planning a wedding all on your own, definitely consider Nick and Elizabeth at Kuhs Estate and Farm, you can truly leave almost all of it in their hands and not have to worry about a thing! Kuhs Estate & Farm is a unique venue that provided the vintage-boho style wedding I dreamed of. The history and beauty of this property was the perfect backdrop for my family centered theme of gathering. Immediately upon stepping on the grounds, you are captivated and pulled in to a peaceful and serene setting. My mother and I worked with Luli (the owner) to make my wedding decor personal and reflective of who I am. Luli’s creativity and passion for her work were obvious every step of the way. She took a personal interest in me and my vision for my wedding, even surprising me with specialized finishing touches that were all about us! Her one-of-kind bouquet specially designed for me was the perfect complement to my bohemian wedding dress and style. My wedding guests were pleasantly impressed with how everything flowed together.... from the ceremony to the decor that overflowed into the reception tent and the Estate grounds. This venue provided a truly beautiful and unique experience for my family and friends. Kuhs Estate & Farm is a hidden gem that many do not know even exists! A truly significant historical landmark that gave meaning and substance to our wedding vows, while also providing a fun-filled relaxed atmosphere, complete with games and animal friends that brought delight to the faces of young and old alike! Our wedding will always be a special memory etched in our hearts that we will relive often in years to come. This special Estate and the owners have left a long lasting impression on us and we plan to come back every chance we get.

We had our wedding at Kuhs Estate in 2015 and I couldn’t imagine a more perfect place! To this day, we still have people say to us how much fun they had at our wedding and how beautiful the location was - all thanks to Elizabeth and the rest of the staff at Kuhs Estate. Throughout the planning process, I constantly asked Elizabeth questions and she always answered me and reassured me that everything will work out - and of course it did! I also have to mention that their dedication to helping all of the animals on the farm is incredible. We are now stationed overseas and we can’t wait to come back in October to take our family pictures at Kuhs Estate!

This is hands down the most beautiful and magical place for a wedding in the St. Louis area(the sunken rock garden is my favorite). Elizabeth and the whole staff at Kuhs bent over backwards to make sure our day was special and unique. We went in with some ideas of our own but no clue on how to execute them. Elizabeth not only made sure the ideas came to life but also had some great suggestions of her own. We could not have pulled it off without her or the staff. Thank you Kuhs!!!

Recently took an engagement client out to Kuhs Estate & Farm for their photos. There's nothing bad to say about this location....its a hidden gem and beyond beautiful. The owner was kind enough to give me a tour of the property prior to my clients arriving and was extremely helpful and kind. I'd highly recommend this location to any bride looking for a peaceful and tranquil wedding venue! Not to mention its a gem of a location for a photographer!

I got married here in September 2013. We fell in love with this amazing venue as soon as we drove up to the stunning stone gates at the entrance to the property. Once we spent some time with Luli, we knew this was the perfect place for us to plan our special day, and the person we wanted to plan it with. We felt well informed and comfortable throughout the entire process, from signing the contract, all the way up to our big day. Luli and her team put on the most amazing event for us - their commitment to excellence is nothing less than outstanding. We had NO IDEA what we were doing - just that we wanted a wedding that looked like our Pinterest Board - and she made it happen! No detail gets overlooked, and no task is too daunting. She's ready and willing to try anything - with the resources and knowledge to make it happen. Some of our favorite highlights were: Having the property to ourselves on wedding day! We took photos in a variety of amazing spots on the property - in the amazing sunken garden and even some with animals! The bonfire and Smore's bar (which our guests still remember 5 years later) - that was setup and staged by Luli and her team. Our Vendors - they really picked the best vendors in St. Louis - who know exactly what they're doing at the venue and operate with confidence. Flowers and event design - we worked together to make a plan that my husband and I could afford, AND that was beautiful. We were always on the same page in terms of budget and rentals and design as she is constantly updating spreadsheets and giving feedback. When it came to the big day - we got to sit back and relax and just enjoy getting married! Since my wedding at Kuhs, I have been a guest at two other weddings there. Luli and her team to continue to create incredible work for weddings that were double the size and intensity of my own - I was truly blown away. Again - the attention to detail and time spent on this labor of love is always obvious. (One of those weddings did the petting zoo and both did the sparkler departure - I'm STILL kicking myself for not doing those on our wedding day!) Our first baby is due in September and we can't wait to do our baby bump photos at the farm. The connection we have with this place and with the staff there will last a lifetime. Not only is the property absolutely romantic & gorgeous, the real blessing was Elizabeth!! From the minute my daughter was born till now I dreamed of having a beautiful wedding. I am sooo thankful that god lead us on the path to Elizabeth ❤️❤️❤️. The wedding was even more perfect and more beautiful than in my dreams! She went above and beyond to make our inspirations a reality 😍❤️ and she treated my daughter as her own. She is a true blessing!!

Such a perfect venue for the most perfect day! We endured wind and rain for the first half of the day and everyone at Kuhs made sure everything under the tent stayed dry and beautiful. The clouds parted as soon as we walked down the aisle and we felt like the luckiest people on the planet. Elizabeth and Nick were wonderful, helpful, and so welcoming. It all went off without a hitch and we have the venue to thank for that! A beautiful backdrop, gorgeous flowers, and the most tasteful vintage touches I ever did see. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Do yourself a favor and get married here!

I cannot even begin to explain how wonderful my experience was with Elizabeth and her crew at Kuhs Estate and Farm. My August wedding went just as I had imagined. From helping to plan and decide on my decor to answering every question I had along the way, Elizabeth made it so easy. I wanted a special private last dance with my husband before the night was over and we decided to do it in the gazebo. Little did I know Elizabeth went the extra mile and set up what seemed to be 100 candles for us to dance in the center of. It was the most special moment and such a special touch, I truly felt she wanted the night to be perfect for us. I highly recommend Kuhs for your special day- It is simply beautiful there and Elizabeth and her team will not let you down!

Where to even begin... Kuhs Estate & Farm is a hidden gem in St. Louis. It is an absolutely breathtaking property and provides the most gorgeous scenery for photographs. The owners, Elizabeth & Nick, are incredible. It is so refreshing to work with people who you can just tell are so in love with what they do. Some vendors make you feel like just another customer, but not these two. They truly treated us like we were family. When we initially went to drop off the deposit, Elizabeth gave us a dozen farm fresh eggs from her chickens! I knew then & there that we had made the right decision to hold our wedding at Kuhs. Such a small gesture, but it meant so much. Elizabeth has a great eye for detail and truly brought my Pinterest board dream wedding to life. It was everything I dreamed it would be but even 10x more! She knows the property inside & out and made great suggestions throughout the planning process & on the day of. We have been busy the last couple days replying to our guests who absolutely raved about the property, the decor, all of the details, the fun lawn games, & the hospitality of Elizabeth & Nick. I can't imagine us having had our special day anywhere else.

We fell in love with kuhs farm the minute we drove up. Words can't describe how thrilled I am that I got marry the best person I've ever met in the most magical place. From the second you meet Elizabeth and Nick, you can tell how much they truly love this place and how much they love being apart of couples' special day. Kuhs farm is full of magic everywhere you look. It sounds corny, but I promise the second you get out of the car and look around you believe it's true. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else.

WOW--so obviously the place is beautiful and you couldn't ask for a better setting. But the people are AWESOME. They paid such exceptional attention to detail and what the bride and groom want for their day. We never felt any pressure from them to do things a certain way, yet came to us with different ideas and options that we were free to take or leave. As someone who had a lot of her plate during wedding planning, it was so helpful to have someone who was calm (even when things weren't working out as planned), accommodating, and thoughtful. The touches they put on events are above and beyond. I can't say enough nice things about Elizabeth and my experience with Kuh's.

The most amazing place to have our daughter's wedding. Nick and Elizabeth were so great and easy to work with. The estate is just beautiful. Elizabeth did all the design, flowers and decorations for the wedding and reception and it was everything and more we could have asked for. I knew at the initial design meeting by the questions Elizabeth asked our daughter she would be able to bring her vision to life and she exceeded our expectations . It was just a magical day and evening and I am forever grateful that they made our daughter and new son-in-law's wedding a perfect start to their marriage!

The moment Robert and I stepped foot on this gorgeous estate, and met Luli and Nick, we had no doubt Kuhs Estate & Farm was where we were meant to get married ! From day one of planning to our actual wedding day, the process was flawless! Luli's attention to detail and how she turned my vision into a reality is still beyond me ! Thanks to Luli, every aspect of our wedding mirrored mine and my husbands hobbies and personalities in every way..... from the vintage furniture seating areas, to the ceremony entrance way draped in all of my wedding flowers ( and succulents!) , to the reception table decor; greenery, antlers + feathers, and boxed succulents on the "His" tables and on the "Hers" tables; greenery mixed with simple and elegant flower vases and laced votives ! Breathtaking ! And our most favorite part of the day, our own beautifully decorated private table in the rock garden, where we were swooped off too immediately following the ceremony, to play a quick game of gin and enjoy our first 30 minutes together as husband and wife in our element. On the table, a lovely fruit and cheese plate, champagne for me, and a Busch beer for my husband, and a lovely wooden card holder and handwritten note from Luli and Nick. I tear up just thinking about it ! We are still in awe of our wedding day and how magical it was; not just for us but for all of our guests. We've heard time and time again, ours was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been too and I couldn't agree more :) ! Thank you Luli and Nick for a wedding day beyond our wildest dreams, for memories we will always cherish, and for the forever friends we have made with the both of you. We had our wedding at Kuhs Estate & Farm this past weekend and it was an absolute dream. Luli, Nick and team did a fantastic job making our vision come to life. They truly went above and beyond to make our big day as special as we had always hoped it would be. We had multiple guests tell us that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. If you are interested in having an outdoor wedding, Kuhs is where you want to do it!

This review is long overdue, but hopefully it does justice to the immense gratitude my husband and I share for this majestic venue and its wonderful owners, Elizabeth and Nick Fichter. This private property is the perfect marriage of rustic elegance and natural beauty. We got married under an expansive oak tree in the sprawling valley of the property, so picturesque that it inspired my sister to paint a watercolor of the tree and incorporate it into our wedding invitation and day-of paperwork. Words can't do it justice. Just look at the pictures and you'll begin to get a sense of the incomparable serenity, beauty, and intimacy of this special part of the property. Our reception took place on the bluff of the private estate, overlooking the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi Rivers, a priceless view that embodies the ethos of our state. Our 230 guests had ample room to take in the view, mingle, appreciate the many sites of the property (the stone garden, the gazebo at the highest point of the property, the stone sitting area at the furthest edge of the property etc), and then naturally move into the tent located nearby on the bluff. The reception under the tent was magical. From the carefully crafted harvest dinner tables to the after-party smores around the campfire, Elizabeth and her team beautifully designed the night with such tasteful class and an appreciation of our vision. Not only is she a talented visionary, she is a joy to work with from start to finish, always ensuring that every detail is taken care of with such a reassuring and professional ease about her demeanor (which we brides appreciate so much!). Her attention to detail, institutional knowledge of the industry, and positive attitude made the overall experience so amazing and fluid. We were able to be present and completely in-the-moment the entire day, without any hiccups or complications. Andrew and I truly can't express how meaningful the experience was on the most important day of lives. Elizabeth and your team - thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Elizabeth and Nick were incredible and the venue is unbelievably beautiful. Everything went off without a hitch thanks to Elizabeth and Nick who went above and beyond to make sure everything was set up and ran smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better day, place and experience.

If I could give Luli and Nick Fichter (the owners of Kuhs Estate and Farm) 10 stars I would. They made my daughter's wedding absolutely beautiful and unforgettable. The day and evening surpassed all our expectations (and many guests told us it was the best wedding they had ever attended). Luli worked with us right from the start to translate our wishes into the most magical and unique event. She is very artistic, and her suggestions, ideas and design elements enhanced the entire day. She watched every detail, and she and Nick worked tirelessly (Luli even repaired things when necessary). I have never seen such service-it was as if we were her own family. I cannot recommend Kuhs estate enough as the most spectacular place in St. Louis to hold an event.

We had our wedding and reception at Kuhs Estate and Farm on 10-1-16. It was absolutely magical. Liz and Nick are some of the best people you will meet and they take extreme pride in ensuring you have the perfect day. The farm is filled with amazing picture opportunities from the large oak tree, bluff overlooking the Missouri River, gazebo, rock garden, etc. All of this is nothing compared to the magic you will feel on your special day. You will see your vision come to life and it will exceed all of your expectations. It was the best day of our lives and we have memories that will last us a lifetime. You can't go wrong with Kuhs Estate and Farm.

Absolutely wonderful place to get married!! Magical! My now husband and I tied the knot last weekend and are still on cloud 9 :) Elizabeth has a great eye for detail and truly tries to understand what the couple would like. The views are breathtaking. The vendors are amazing to work with and provide excellent service. We had so many compliments. Our guest had a blast. My husband and I wish we could do it all over again. Highly recommend this venue if your looking for an unforgettable night.

If you are looking for a beautiful outdoor venue with wonderful staff this is your place! The views around the farm are amazing! From the river views, to the free standing Oak tree, this place is a hidden paradise. Our outdoor October wedding was perfect. The decor was amazing! Just what my husband and I had in mind. Liz and Nick are also awesome! My husband is a big hunter and Liz incorporated deer antlers into our hear table. Nick and LIz were there though the whole wedding making sure everything went smoothly. Liz even sewed one of our guests' dresses when it broke! I can not say enough positive things about Kuhs Farm and their Staff. There isn't a single thing I would have changed about this venue! Our wedding was a dream come true thanks to Kuhs!

Not that I am planning on getting married again, but if I would have to, I would totally do it there again. It is a wonderful venue, it is up on the bluffs overlooking the confluence of Missouri and Mississippi. It is outdoor in a tent (in case it rains) and gives plenty of space for your guests to explore and have a great time. Liz (the owner) and Renee, the wedding planner that comes with the package, are amazing and help you as much or as little as you want to make sure it will be what you want. Liz really took my vision and my Pinterest board and translated it 1:1. The only little negative thing is,that it is a bit pricy. It is $3700 to rent the place (incl. the wedding planner), $4000 for the tent and $1000 for the restrooms. That does not include any food or rentals (chairs, tables, dishes etc.) But you do have the place all day long from 10am until 11pm. So you can have your ceremony and/or reception there. (they are only doing one wedding each day).

What an amazing place. My husband and I were just married there this past weekend. When we first visited the venue it didn't take long to know where we'd be married. With the down payment, the property owner was very flexible and remained the nicest and most helpful throughout the entire year of planning. She does most of the decorations and the floral arrangements, which is more than helpful but that is when the price extends beyond just the venue "total cost". With that said, you get what you pay for and we had an absolutely amazing day we will forever cherish. We are incredibly anxious to receive the professional photos back from this amazing hidden gem of Saint Louis.

Kuhs Estate was the perfect venue for our ceremony and reception. When my fiance (now husband) and I set out to find a wedding venue we knew we wanted something rustic with a lot of natural beauty. We initially looked at a few wineries and barns in the St. Louis area but felt that those venues were lacking in authenticity. Then we visited Kuhs. We knew right away that we wanted to have our wedding at Kuhs - it is the real deal. The estate and farm are tucked away in Spanish Lake with gorgeous views on the estate side overlooking the bluffs; the entire property is completely picturesque. The property has been in Elizabeth's, the owner, family for years and you can tell that she completely adores the property itself and helping people to have their dream event happen on the property. We also rented some gorgeous vintage pieces from Liz's company, Vintage for the Day, for the wedding and could not have loved them more. Liz also offers custom vintage designs that are stunning. Liz and Renee were a pleasure to work with and truly care about the events they host at Kuhs. We highly recommend this venue

When my fiance and I visited Kuhs for the first time, we knew we wanted to get married there. The land is beautiful and majestic, the people that own and operate the farm are real and genuine, and that beautiful land on the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers just seems to be full of love & stories. We have the most incredible, irreplaceable memories from our wedding day and truly can't imagine our "i do's" having been anywhere else. The barn was the sweetest, coziest spot for our reception and we have a seriously incredible picture of us in the sunken rock gardens there... Our friends and family LOVED the day, too. Kuhs is just a unique little gem. A one of a kind place.

I can’t begin to recommend Kuhs Estate and Farm enough. Our wedding was more beautiful, charming, and fun than I ever could have imagined. And, that just wouldn’t have been possible if we had held it anywhere else or put it together without the amazing staff and volunteers at Kuhs. To begin, the venue is stunning! We got married on the bluffs, had our cocktail hour under the giant tree, and our reception in the barn. The Barn was built more than 100 years ago, it is charming, beautiful, and was just what we wanted. It is a working farm, but everything smelled amazing - like flowers, was clean and well organized, and who gets to take pictures overlooking a river, in sunken gardens, next to a 200 year old oak, in a historical dairy barn, and with the baby animals?!?

 Truly, the photos are incredible, but more importantly, the day was amazing. After our ceremony, our family and friends spent the afternoon touring the grounds, playing lawn games, and toasting craft beer among beautiful vintage treasures. Then danced the night away and chatted under the stars. It was wonderful. The contract does say that the venue can be booked on the alternative days of the weekend: for us that would have been a Friday or Sunday. Although this didn’t end up happening the weekend of our wedding, we were well aware that it was a possibility. Part of the reason we chose Kuhs because unlike other venues where you have 2 or 4 hours allocated for set up time, we had ALL day (13 hours)! It turned out to be plenty of time; my fiancé even had time to play bocce and I got to snuggle a few horses before the wedding. To make the experience easier and even better, the staff couldn't have been nicer, more accommodating, planful, and kind. The owner, Elizabeth, in particular was great! She was overly generous and always asking how she could support us in having the best day possible. The day of the wedding she was armed with a huge group of staff and volunteers to ensure everything was clean and organized. At every turn they bent over backwards to make our wedding day special and spent the better part of a year helping us plan it. They met with us at least a handful of times, each time walking us patiently through all the possibilities. They recommended great vendors and on the day of, when one didn't show up on time, rather than bother us, they went above and beyond to call them and get it straightened out on our behalf. These people live and breathe this magical place. They gave us the best day of our lives and a wedding better than we could have imagined. All our guests were in love with the experience, and many have asked to return as volunteers themselves. I would overwhelmingly recommend this place to bride's looking for a chance to have a one-of-a-kind wedding where you get to call the shots and make it your own – Great Gatsby, vintage with a modern twist, country chic - the possibilities are endless and the team at Kuhs will really help make any dream a reality. We knew what we wanted when we chose Kuhs Farm, somewhere with heart and that's exactly what we got.
