Based out of Wausau, WI, KurtisDave Photography offers wedding and engagement photography in Milwaukee, Madison, Greenbay, and Wausau area. Owner and operator Kurt is the lead photographer. This friendly and creative professional loves capturing special occasions in an authentic and warm manner, and seeks to offer an honest, relational candidness of each couple. Kurt has a passion for celebrating the beauty in each person. Aside from photography, he is a high school teacher and also barbers, writes poetry, sketches, and enjoys time with his toddler. Through KurtisDave Photography, he seeks candid beauty and preserves it in vivid images. KurtisDave Photography offers service in a range of packages. Kurt's flexible wedding package starts with five hours of coverage that can be expanded to meet your needs. He will deliver between 70 and 80 photos per hour of coverage. Kurt can also call on the services of a second photographer to capture even more moments. His engagement package offers a relaxed, one-hour session with between 100 and 150 photos, one additional location change, and one other outfit change. The Everything Else package is fully customizable for other milestone events- maternity, senior shots, family sessions, modeling, and more.

which was a factor for us in deciding who would shoot our big day. Would wholeheartedly recommend him for you. Kurt did our engagement photos as well, and although it rained that day, the weather did not allow phase him. He was mindful of making sure we didn’t freeze in the rain and of using his time efficiently to get the shots he needed. Before our wedding, Kurt had a call with us to talk about our vision for the day and what we wanted in our photos. We found this helpful and felt that this emphasized his good communication with us. The day off, he kept us on schedule for photos. He got wonderful shots of not only us but of our guests, which we loved! He also got some beautiful couple shots that are blissful in their artistic quality; truly we will treasure them all our marriage.

Hi friend, I'm Kurt! Thanks for stopping in. I'm a lover of poetry, ink sketching, snuggling with my baby, and sharing some french press coffee with a friend while we chat about life. Honestly, I never expected to be a wedding photographer. But my pursuit of light and authenticity in the photo world brought me to the most important day of a person's life, and showed me that people are there most vulnerable selves on their wedding day. And what a beautiful, honest opportunity to create real art, and gift you the most a lifelong heirloom- your priceless moments frozen in time.
