Laura's Cake Design

I just love our wedding cake made by Laura. Initially, I wasn’t really sure what type of wedding cake design I really wanted so I changed my mind several times. Finally, Laura decided to made her own sketch of our cake based on my vision, from the base of the cakes to the details and colors of the flowers. It turned out even more gorgeous than what I was expecting. The cake was delicious too. Laura has several flavors to choose from which i find a bit rare compared to other bakers I found. On top of that, Laura also designed my father’s in law’s birthday cake. We gave it to him that same night (we got married on his birthday) and the cake is awesome! Laura made it exactly the way I wanted it to look like. Overall, i’m happy with how our cakes turned out and would highly recommend Laura.

Laura made working with her very difficult and unsatisfying. To elaborate, her customer service style was unprofessional and towards me she was inflexible during such uncertain times. My questions and concerns were repeatedly compared to the concerns of others, instead of tailoring the customer service experience according to my and my Fiancé’s needs. This interaction left a very negative impression, and discouraged me as a bride when searching for vendors. I now know and understand that thorough research is a must when choosing vendors for such a sacred event in order to maintain a positive, smooth flowing planning experience.

I don't know where to begin because there aren't enough wonderful adjectives to describe Laura and the absolutely beautiful wedding cake that she made for my daughter and new son in law. Laura herself is very easy to communicate with and is so accommodating. Her talent at baking and the art of cake decorating are amazing. The price for the product she delivers is very reasonable. Truly amazing!! Laura brought our vision of our wedding cake to life!! My wedding guests are still raving about the cake and how delicious it was. Laura was a pleasure to work with and made the entire wedding cake “process” simple and worry-free. I initially had a hard time finding the right baker within my budget and one that was conveniently and ideally located in Staten Island, NY. When I came upon Laura’s website, I was instantly blown away by her gallery and wedding cake experience. Everything on her website and social media looked so elegant and amazing, so I knew I had to contact her right away. Laura was very responsive to my emails and texts and answered all my questions in a timely manner. She truly made my dream wedding cake a dream come true. Everything I ever envisioned for my wedding cake was staring right at me at the venue. I didn’t even want to cut it! From the beautiful handmade cascading flowers with diamond additions, to the amazing vanilla almond buttercream flavor, my husband and I truly cannot thank Laura enough. She made our wedding even more special. I highly highly recommend Laura for anybody who wants their dream cake come to life for whatever occasion it maybe. She will take your vision and ideas and incorporate them into the cake, and create wonderful memories for you to have forever.

Laura and her team could not have done a more perfect job. Firstly, my husband and I wanted to go a little non-traditional with a funfetti cake encased in rainbow sprinkles, plus an almond-flour tier for my gluten-free diet. Laura delivered 100% and added our toppers exactly how we had envisioned. Not only did everyone stop to take a picture of the piece de resistance, it was also DELICIOUS. Almost everyone went back for seconds. It was the only food I had for most of the day and I'm so happy that was the one item I got to enjoy. Laura was always friendly and easy to work with. I have and will continue to recommend Laura to everyone looking for a baker. She killed it.

From start to finish, dealing with Laura was simply effortless. She is quick to answer questions and emails with patient and precise answers. The best thing of all- her masterpiece wedding cake for us was elegant and very delicious (and she made me my own gluten free cake of the same design & flavor). My family and friends could not stop talking about how scrumptious it was. Amazing work, Laura & team. Highly recommended!

Laura made an absolutely beautiful and also very delicious cake for our wedding. She was super easy to work with, very responsive, and gave us exactly what we were looking for. She also made the tasting process very easy by mailing everything directly to us since we live in a different city. I have had Laura’s cakes for many occasions. Laura’s cakes are always beautifully designed, moist, and delicious! I especially love the variety of cake types and fillings Laura offers (which mst bakeries do not). I recently had the pleasure of enjoying her Italian Rainbow Cookie cake; amazingly delicious! Just want to say I LOVE LOVE LOVE Laura's cakes!!! I have used her so many times and she always comes through. Her designs are on point and always beautiful, her cakes are DELICIOUS and she is always on time for deliveries and keeps in contact through the whole process. She isn't cheap, but she GOOD! ;)
