I would like to start this review by explaining the 1 star. The hotel housekeeping staff is great and they deserve 5 stars. Luggage caddies same thing they were great. Rooms were clean and nice. My wife and I booked this hotel for our wedding and had several friends and family also book this hotel to stay at. The elevators were not properly working and took forever to come and go. It got to the point where those in my family that had no issues were taking the stairs down several floors because it was faster than taking the elevator. It was only on the day we checked out I noticed that the elevators were up for service according to the sheet in the elevator. Fun note a child got stuck in the elevator going up and down and it took the parents and staff a good bit to get the kid. The biggest issue I have is with the management. When my wife and I were looking at the hotels in the area and deciding which one to go with. While my wife handled 99% of the calls and emails with Raquel and then it became Jasmine (apparently the turnover rate in this hotel is huge) we were under the impression from a conversation that our wedding night and not the night before was to be free of charge. However, when we actually arrived neither Raquel or Jasmine were no longer with them and we would not be getting the night free. The staff demanded to my wife that she produce emails proving this to my wife before the rehearsal causing her to become upset. We also left gift bags for out guest checking in at the front desk with a list of people checking in and several of our guest did not get gift bags. I collected several before I checked out after finding out from the guest (even one of my groomsmen) so I could try to get them to them. Another issue from the management when I asked what time my party needed to be in the lobby for a hotel shuttle to dinner less than a quarter mile from the hotel. We were told 15 minutes prior to when we wanted to get there. My party was at the lobby 25 minutes before hand, I informed the desk we were ready for the shuttle and we waited for over 30 minutes for a shuttle that never came and so we decided to walk. (The whole reason not to walk was to be courteous to those in heels) We found out that there were apparently 3 other weddings the same weekend. Again i found the hotel rooms great and house keeping staff friendly and helpful but the management staff needs a lesson in manners and tact. Again, this is not just me complaining about paying money, this is about a rude and borderline incompetent staff. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you are absolutely desperate and don't wish to stay at Motel 6, especially if this is for a wedding. *I left this review on the hotels main website and they left a reply to send my contact info to them. Am still waiting to hear back from the person I let my contact info with if that goes to Show you how bad their customer service is. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
