Looks good on paper, but don't fall for it! New event coordinator is unorganized, deceitful, snippy, and defensive. This venue does not have any business hosting any event over 100 people. They simply do not have the staff, the supplies (chairs, dance floor, linens, etc.), or experience. Multiple food items served were different than the items agreed upon at the tasting. Some food items were served severely overcooked, most likely due to sitting under a warmer while the lack of staff attempted to serve and clear the salad course. Other food items were served cold, again probably due to the lack of staff. The premium bar was not adequately stocked even after multiple discussions with the event coordinator. The event coordinator will tell you all the chairs are the same, when in fact they probably only have around 160 matching chairs and borrow the rest (different chairs) from the golf course across the street. The rental dance floor was in a state of total disrepair, and we were left to find our own replacement rental the day before the reception. The event coordinator will try to act like a hero, claiming she fixed all the issues as they happened throughout the event, when in all reality every single issue could have easily been avoided with proper preparation, adequate staff, and attention to detail. Our reception was a blast, and not many guests knew of the issues, but the fact is that we spent countless hours planning, reviewing, and confirming everything only to find out that the event coordinator was never truly attentive throughout the whole process.
