Where do I start?! Lisa and her team are absolutley amazing. As with most big events, things don't always go as planned. Any little hiccups that occured Lisa handled perfectly so that I would have ZERO stress as a bride. This is more important than just about anything to me as I not only was getting married but also had a 5 month old so I really did not need any extra stress! I had been dreaming about my wedding day sicne I was a little girl. Lisa brought my vision to reality and it was even better than I had ever dreamed of. Lisa is super organized too which is a huge plus. Her day of scheudle had every single note you could ever need. We actually started the wedding on time! When does that happen?!?!?!?!? My whole wedding stayed within budget thanks to her negotiation skills and I was told by many people it was the best wedding they had ever been to. Lisa really became family in our eyes and I would reccomend her to anyone for any event big or small.

We spent forever deciding on a wedding planner, and Lisa was our savior. We had a 170 person wedding at a huge resort. There were so many things we never knew we needed to do - but Lisa knew it all. She got everything done in advance, and she has the personality to boot! She came from everything - my fittings, tastings, walk throughs - and really helped to guide us through the process. If we were stressed, she calmed us down. If we were nervous, she made us confident. I don't know how anyone gets married without Lisa Kahn!

Wow....just wow. Lisa was amazing! Not only was she very efficient in her wedding planning abilities, she was so personable which made it that much more great to work with her! I hired Lisa a little late in the process (like 3 weeks before my wedding !) but Lisa assured me that she would take care of everything, which she did. Not only did she perform her wedding planner duties, she went above and beyond and made my day that much more special. I would highly recommend Lisa Kahn!

I had a wonderful experience with Lisa as our wedding planner. She was flexible, forthcoming, and most importantly really took the time to understand what it was that we wanted. More personally, I really appreciate Lisa’s collaborative efforts, even when the going sometimes got tough. Lisa is a consummate professional, and, after such great, caring, and diligent work for both my and my sister’s weddings, I happily would recommend Lisa to anyone looking to see his or her wedding-day dreams become reality.

Don't get me wrong, my wedding was spectacular, but after seeing all the work Lisa Kahn did for my friend who was getting married I wish I used her! My friend raved about her for days and said how special she made the entire day for her. I loved Lisa from the moment I spoke with her on the phone. She inspired confidence and exuded enthusiasm. She took detailed notes at every meeting and stayed on top of everything! Many people at our wedding commented on how much they liked her and loved working with her. We had a few last minute "oh no, what are we going to do?" And Lisa took full responsibility for ensuring that every single situation was addressed and handled. Our day came together like a dream. Thank you Lisa!!!

I honestly don't even know where to begin when writing this review of Lisa Kahn Events. Hands down, Lisa is the best wedding planner in Los Angeles. My husband and I met with a few different planners in the LA area about a year before our wedding and NONE of them compared to Lisa. We knew instantly that she was the planner for us and we hired her on the spot after our first meeting! Our instincts were spot on. Lisa made the wedding planning experience enjoyable, stress-free, and easy... YES, easy! We opted for her full service package and I highly suggest every bride does this. Lisa made sure every i was dotted and every t crossed before the big day. Everyone told me to expect things to go wrong on my wedding day. Well, with Lisa as our wedding planner, not ONE THING went wrong. I literally enjoyed every second of my wedding day and if something did go wrong, I never knew! I did not lift a finger on my day, I just got to sip champagne and enjoy marrying my best friend. Thanks to Lisa and her awesome team, I had a perfect.. Yes, PERFECT wedding. All of my bridesmaids and family members kept saying how lucky I was to have such an incredible planner. She is budget conscious, offers very reasonable rates, she'll get brides the best deal possible on vendors (she's an awesome negotiator), and she has such a sweet, lovable personality! She makes her brides feel like their wedding is the only wedding she is planning. I really cannot say enough amazing things about Lisa. Listen up brides, your wedding planner search is over. Lisa, MAKES IT HAPPEN!! Planning our wedding with Lisa from Lisa Kahn Events was quite an experience. Lisa has done many weddings and you can tell that her clients have been very happy with her. She has such a big personality and she's a lot of fun to be around. She's kind, patient and professional. We communicated with her through email mostly since we live in another state, which can get tedious at some point. But she made sure to respond to all of our requests and worked out the issues with the vendors properly. One thing we loved about Lisa Kahn Events was the list of the vendors they recommended. Lisa has a great relationship with a lot of fantastic vendors in the Southern California region. We were very happy with the vendors she recommended. More importantly, she develops great relationships with the vendors she doesnt know so things end up going just as well as they would with vendors she knows. She has hosted a lot of events at a lot of top rated venues. She knows a lot of people, which helped us a lot when it came to choosing a venue. Our wedding was PERFECT!! Everything was the way we wanted it to be. When we arrived for our wedding the day before, she was there to make sure everything and everyone where they supposed to be. She had just enough number of assistants there to help out and they were always there to attend to us. I miss working with Lisa now that the wedding planning stuff is over. But she is still helpful with things that need attention post-wedding. She is such a delight. THANK YOU LISA, and your great team, for everything!!!

I have had a wonderful experience (so far!) working with Lisa! She has been able to direct us to terrific vendors and if we need to seek alternatives, she has found them for us! Her attitude is always that we will be able to accomplish all of our goals and achieve a wonderful, beautiful result. My daughter and future son-in-law truly enjoy being with Lisa for all of the decisions they need to make to have the wedding that they want.....she is funny, upbeat and makes us all feel as though we are having a good experience during this stressful time. Lisa Kahn Events is Awesome!

I am midway through planning my wedding and I would not be able to do it without Lisa. Besides being the best event planner in the whole wide world, she is always available to talk to and be there if you need her. She is calm, funny and honest. If you are planning a wedding you should hire Lisa.

We hired Lisa to help us plan our destination wedding in Santa Barbara. Lisa far surpassed our expectations! She took care of everything so we (or better yet my wife) did not have to worry about anything. You know what they say, Happy Wife Happy Life, well I say Happy Wife Happy Wedding.

John and I live in Los Angeles (Encino to be specific)and got married in Santa Barbara. Event though Santa Barbara is not far away, we were concerned that it would be difficult to plan a wedding from down in LA, so we hired Lisa of Lisa Kahn Events. Let me start by saying that was the best decision we made:-) Lisa helped us find all of our vendors and created an amazing wedding for us. In the end it was not just a relaxing, fun destination wedding for our guest, but for us a well. Lisa we LOVE YOU!

I am ghengis's new wife thanks to Lisa Kahn Events:-) As my new hubby pointed out, we could not have done it without Lisa. Lisa calmly guided us through every step of the planning process while still making if fun and enjoyable for us. She is not only did a "Fantastic Job", but now we consider her our friend. P.S. my parents were not that bad:-)

Let me just start off by saying that quite simply, Lisa saved our wedding. In a perfect world many envision the perfect scenario: a huge budget, awesome venue, all our friends and family in attendance, and both sets of in-laws working together in perfect harmony. Unfortunately for most of us, that perfect scenario does not exist. Truth is, we had a modest budget and our parents, well... they have different ideas about things. Enter Lisa Kahn and Lisa Kahn Events. Our Savior! She took our budget, broke it out line item by line item, explained where we could push and where we could pull, found us the 'awesome' venue, reworked our budget so we could invite all our friends and family, and played mediator/psychologist to our parents. We never had the massive budget, but because of Lisa we got the venue, we got the friends and family and the in-laws behaved themselves for about 8 hours or so (no small victory). Thats 3 out of 4 if you're still paying attention and thats as close to perfection as you can get. Lisa is a dream, a lifesaver and a friend. Call her up, you will not be disappointed.

Lisa Kahn is wonderful! I highly recommend Lisa and her staff. I was an out-of-town mother-of-the-bride and she was a life-saver. She worked closely with my daughter but I was able to call anytime with ideas, concerns, opinions, etc. Her enthusiasm, warm and wonderful personality, organization, professionalism and emotional support were outstanding. Her attention to detail and budget, work with the vendors and with the event staff allowed us to relax and thoroughly enjoy the day. The venue was spectacular, the food amazing, the flowers gorgeous and she and her staff were so efficient. We couldn't have done it without her. I'd hire her again in a minute!

Lisa is fun, energetic, and organized. She really works hard on getting you the good rates and tries to stick within your budget. She also works with amazing vendors. Our wedding is in 3 weeks and we will miss Lisa once it is over. I highly recommend her, she will be a great asset to your wedding planning.

For someone who is detail oriented and anal as I am, I met my match! This woman is not only on top of things but always thinks ahead. She coordinated my wedding, and the only way I was able to relax and enjoy it is because I knew she was taking charge and was handling it. My husband and I plan events for a living and so are very picky about things, which in turn made us afraid we would make Lisa's life miserable. But she was very patient and very professional. She did a beautiful job of coordinating with all of our vendors before and during the wedding, and stayed with us through the bitter end! My day went beautifully and without a hiccup! And having Lisa, I couldn't be more grateful. This IS as good as it gets!! You will get your moneys worth and not only that, but I gained a friend too.

At first I didn't think we would need a wedding planner, but once it was all over and done with I came to find I was dead wrong! Lisa truly made our special day come to life, and really helped guide us through the whole planning process. She took care of everything so that my wife, family and friends could enjoy themselves on our wedding day. All we had to do was tell her what we wanted/needed and she made it happen. My Wife and I are coming up on our two week anniversary and we are going through some major wedding planner withdrawal, and we miss you Lisa! Our experience with Lisa as our event planner has turned into a relationship / friendship that we truly value, and will have for many years. When reflecting back on our wedding and all the events leading up to it, is the time when you really begin to appreciate and understand how beneficial and amazing Lisa is and all the work behind that goes into planning and being able to pull off an amazing wedding. My wife and I got married at my parents house in Encino. We originally thought that having a home wedding was going to be very simple but we learned that planning wise it certainly is no easy task. Unlike a hotel or restaurant that already has most of the essentials for a wedding party (Chairs, Tables, Food, Staff, etc) all my parents had to offer was a beautiful front yard, and a tennis court. With the help of Lisa we were able to turn their house into a beautiful and spectacular venue with a fully tented tennis court that would rival any Four Seasons ballroom. It was something beyond our wildest imagination. When first meeting with Lisa we felt very comfortable, and instantly began brainstorming about ideas. What is most impressive about Lisa is her ability to instinctively know what we like and our tastes and make the process of planning so much easier for us and for our family as a whole. She has great relationships with all of the top Vendors in Los Angeles and always has at least 3 people that we could talk too. All of the vendors that we used from the Caterer to the photographer were all amazing and we knew that since Lisa had recommended them that we were in good hands. Never once did we have to worry about a detail being missed or if a vendor would have everything correct because we trusted that Lisa would have it taken care of. Another great quality that Lisa possess is the ability to work with the families and manage them as well throughout the process. Both of our parents came to love Lisa, and appreciate all of her hard work. We were always able to ask Lisa questions, whether it was through phone calls, text messages, emails, or faxes from my wife's mom who's doesn't have a computer. She can adapt to any situation and make the most out of what budget you have to work with. Whether the budget is large or small, Lisa is very conscious of what is capable and how to most efficiently work withing the budgets parameters. We hope that everyone can have an experience as enjoyable as we did, a wedding as beautiful as ours, and an Event Planner as amazing as Lisa!

Planning a wedding at your home is a HUGE task and I wouldn't trust anyone but Lisa Kahn. Her enthusiasm, confidence and dedication is first rate and her crew and vendors were the best. Lisa was there for every step of the process of planning for a tent, rentals, air conditioning, portable restrooms, valet parking, invitations, flowers and catering. Her choices were spot on and the event FABULOUS !!! Lisa became more than a wedding planner - she became a dear friend that I will have forever!!! Love you Lisa !!!

Lisa and her staff are smart, kind, funny, knowledgeable, accessible, and AMAZING!!!! I cannot say enough good things about this company. This was my second wedding and I have plenty of experience throwing a party. I was very skeptical about letting someone else get involved, but I wanted to enjoy the big day. We arranged to only have the "day of package" thinking someone would just show up the morning of the wedding to make sure things were running smoothly based on our planning. Instead, we had hands-on guidance throughout the process of signing our vendor contracts, organizing deliveries, confirming all necessary tasks were thought of and addressed in advance. We were also provided a detailed timeline of the entire event in advance of our wedding day with a list of payments that they distributed on our behalf the day of the wedding. I came into this wedding planning process very unsure if I even wanted a wedding planner. We were trying to do our small wedding on a budget and I frankly didn’t think I could afford anyone to help me out. Then I met Lisa. Lisa is a pleasure to work with and has helped me with everything from invitations to the wedding day. She's budget conscious, friendly and up for anything. She’s equally happy to let hands-on brides (such as myself) feel like we are in control, while also being ready to take over any situation that may need her help when I need a break! Lisa’s also great at talking me off the ledge when I get overwhelmed and she never gets fazed when I get frustrated or worried or…you get the point! She handles stress well and leads with friendliness, but isn’t afraid to play hard ball if need be with vendors. She’s saved me a TON of money with my vendors and was worth EVERY PENNY! Even if you are having a small wedding, GIVE YOURSELF THE GIFT OF A PLANNER---they REALLY make a difference, and Lisa will make your special day one you will never forget!

I used lisa to coordinate my wedding this year and she was FABULOUS!!! I would never use anyone else to help me put my wedding together. She came with a happy smile on her face everyday and made the process go so smoothly. She saved me tons of money and brought so much creativity and great ideas to the table that I would have never thought of by myself. She is a great person with a great amount of energy! She came up with wonderful ideas for flowers, location of our wedding as well as colors and decor. I am a bride with a budget and was hesitant to spend the money on a wedding planner, but thus far, it has been the best decision that I have made. Lisa far exceeded any expectations I had in terms of a wedding planner. We hired Lisa as our day-of-coordinator, but she went way above and beyond what most day-of coordinators do and worked with us throughout the whole planning process (giving us vendor recommendations, to-do lists, and shopping for supplies for us). We had a rustic, outdoor wedding, so she had to coordinate bringing in everything from tables to drinking water to heating lamps, all of which she did so effortlessly. On the day of our wedding, she handled everything with such competence and grace that we could really relax knowing that we were in good hands. Everyone who met her at the reception and all of the vendors we hired commented on how cheerful, helpful, and efficient she was. I really can't recommend Lisa highly enough!

You can always tell how successful your party is by the amount of people that stay till the end. Well let's just say when Lisa throws an event, it's hard to get people to leave. Lisa and I, with the occassional imput from my hubby ;), spent a year planning the wedding. When the day finally came, it was everything we ever dreamed of and so much more. When my husband and I look back at our pictures and video, what we notice most is how happy we are. There was not an ounce of stress on that day for us, our family, and bridal party, and that can only be attributed to Lisa and her team. Every detail was well mapped out. We didn't have to worry about paying vendors on our wedding day, or trying to set anything up, or getting people to the right places on time because Lisa had planned a flawless itinerary for us days ahead of time. On our wedding day, all my hubby and I had to do was relax and enjoy the day. Lisa is a worthwhile investment and I truly believe that the success of our wedding is due to the amount of time and energy she gave to our event. Lisa goes above and beyond for every bride, will take calls day or night, and has an amazing way of calming down even the craziest, type-A brides like myself. Even though Lisa is no longer my planner, she will always be a close friend. I would encourage any bride to give Lisa a call. Trust me, in one meeting you'll be hooked.
