Avalon The Band is a wedding entertainment group based in Holland, MI. Its lineup consists of five professional musicians who hold degrees in music and are passionate about the arts. Rich Burkholder, graduate of Berklee College of Music, founded the band and handles all of the band management. Rich has had a longstanding love of music and sought to share his passion with the world. With experience performing at over 300 weddings, Rich will strive to make your wedding entertainment unforgettable. Rich owns a school, Avalon School of the Arts, and it's musical counterpart, The Avalon Music Academy of Holland. The school has 36 teachers and over 800 students. The members of Avalon the Band are Rich and teachers of the school. The band is able to add additional instrumentation and works with a string quartet who are members of the teaching faculty.
