Working with Lori and the Cress Floral team was such an amazing decision. Lori was so accommodating to our budget and was able to understand our floral vision better than other florists that we talked to prior to booking. Once we booked, Lori hosted myself, the groom, and my mom at the floral studio to show us examples of the centerpieces and my bridal bouquet. It was such a fun experience and her team really brought our vision to life. Leading up to the wedding day, Lori made us feel so comfortable and confirmed the order. On wedding day, she was so accommodating to our schedule. Our guests RAVED about how gorgeous all of our centerpieces were. The photographer even mentioned how beautiful the bouquets were for myself and the bridesmaids. Cress really went above and beyond to make sure our vision aligned with our budget and to also provide gorgeous flowers and amazing service! Would highly recommend Lori and her team :)

From the moment I first spoke with Lori, I knew I was going to pick her as our florist. She was so kind, eager to understand and execute my vision, accommodating and I immediately tell she would guide us in the right direction. Lori completely transformed our venue into the most elegant, classic, beautiful Manhattan wedding. Her creation was exactly what I had dreamed of! Cress Floral Decorators – The Best in the Business We got Married at the Mamaroneck Beach and Yacht Club September 9, 2023 and after an exhaustive search, we decided to use Cress Floral for the occasion. I had such an incredible experience working with Lori and the Cress team! I definitely had a unique vision for my wedding with the florals and Lori absolutely delivered from A-Z. I was not your typical all white/neutral bride, and I was very specific with the flowers I wanted. My bouquet of ranunculus was absolutely stunning, my arch, centerpieces, sweetheart table, cake decor... just WOW!!!! Lori captured every inspo pic I sent her, all of the different colors I wanted in there, and got her hands on the most beautiful and unique flowers to tie it all together. Lori and Cress Floral Decorators were great! When we got married at the Central Park Boathouse they gave us an option of 4 florists and we are so happy we worked with Lori! She worked within our budget and our flowers and chuppah were amazing! About a month before the wedding, I decided I wanted my bouquet to look different and Lori was very accomodating and helped me figure out what sort of bouquet I wanted. I would highly recomend them!

I will never forget the moment that Lori hand-delivered my bouquet to me - and I could not have been happier. Lori and Tom also created a garland for the back of our getaway car and - oh my goodness - it was more than I ever imagined. While those two pieces were my favorite of the day, I also loved all the ceremony and reception florals. Everything Lori and Tom created was total perfection. Even more than that, they are so wonderful to work with throughout the whole process. They listen to you and never once do they try to upsell you. I have so much gratitude for Cress. Lori and team did a great job for our wedding! Our flowers, especially my (the bride's) bouquet were absolutely beautiful! Our ceremony arch and all the table centerpieces also looked lovely. We talked to three different florists and ended up choosing Lori because she was the easiest and most pleasant to work with and had reasonable prices. Planning an out-of-state wedding wasn't easy, but the florals went smoothly because we were able to have multiple productive in-person meetings during the few times we visited Cress Florals prior to the wedding, and Lori and her team were also very helpful and communicative over email and phone. Lori has great taste and is good with matching colors, but is also very flexible and always willing to take our opinions into account.

Cress Floral was superb. I had a general idea of what I wanted and Lori was able to materialize centerpieces beyond what I could've ever imagined on my own. Their experience in the industry shines through. Other highlights of their service was ability to stay within desired budget and prompt follow-up. Lori is a true gem. She is incredibly kind, thoughtful, patient and so talented. She helped me source the best and affordable tables and chairs, and managed the rental picks ups/drop offs completely autonomously. It was so seamless. When I changed what I wanted for my bridal bouquet last minute, she didn't hesitate and delivered the most unbelievable bouquet. Cress Floral Decorators always makes events beautiful! I've known them for a long time, so I was excited to ask them to do my wedding. Lori was extremely accommodating with my budget and came up with great ideas for our centerpieces and my bouquet. My bouquet had beautiful burgundy heart roses and greenery spilling out. My flowers came out better then I imagined, my only issue was that I couldn't fit them in the car to take them all home with me! She is kind, patient, willing to work with your budget, gives you great feedback about what is realistic or looks best with your venue and dress and of course, is an artist with her floral design. We wound up not meeting with Lori in person to go over anything or see any flowers. I really wasn’t sure what the end result of our flowers were going to be until I stepped foot in our venue on our wedding day. It was so perfect and beautiful it brought me to tears. I appreciate Lori working with us despite not having a huge budget. Some florists said they would only work with us if we wanted to spend a minimum of $15-20k but not Lori. She has reasonable prices and understands not all of us have $20k sitting around for flowers lol. I cannot recommend Lori and her amazing crew enough for your wedding! I promise, you will be in great hands and will love your flowers.

Wow!!!! Laurie and Tom AMAZED us and we can't say enough amazing things about them and their team! We did all of our planning via zoom meetings with Laurie, and she is incredible! My daughter was in NYC, I (MOB) was in Los Angeles, and Laurie was in their shop. My daughter's wedding flowers were over the top gorgeous everywhere in the venues! Laurie and her team did the flowers for both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding, and everything was even more gorgeous than we had hoped for! the centerpieces both nights were spectacular, the bridal bouquets were fabulous, and the arbor for the wedding ceremony far exceeded anything we had imagined! Laurie is wonderful to work with, and she totally understood my daughter's vision and turned it all into a reality! Can't recommend Laurie, Tom and Cress Floral enough! Once my husband and I chose my venue, we were given the names of four florists we could work with. We quickly settled on Cress Floral, and met with Lori in the shop several times to go over our vision for what our flowers would look like. Lori understood my vision right away, and in a month’s time we had seen mockup versions of our high and low centerpieces. Lori was also flexible and able to accommodate our wedding date change (due to COVID). A few months before the wedding, we met again to see mockup bouquets and finalize the details. All bouquets and centerpieces were delivered on time and looked so beautiful in the Boathouse on the day of our wedding. I cannot recommend Lori and Cress Floral enough!

Lori, Tom and the Cress Floral team were an absolute dream to work with. Lori is super easy to talk to and always gave her honest advice. I told her my vision and the team put together a beautiful centerpiece that was perfect! When I wanted to make adjustments but was unsure of what to adjust to, they ordered different flowers to show to me so I could more easily make the decision. My centerpieces, bouquets, and arch were stunning and it was all thanks to Cress Floral. They truly are incredible and knew exactly how to make everything look perfect. Also, Lori treated me like family the entire way through and it was so refreshing to work with a vendor who really cares about you!

I opted to use Cress Floral for my wedding because from the beginning of the vendor selection process, I felt valued as a client. I was pretty directionless with my floral preferences initially, but after meeting with Lori a couple of times ahead of the wedding, she was able to provide helpful input and guidance in my selections. Ultimately she was able to capture exactly what I was hoping for in my wedding flowers, and far exceeded expectations with our ceremony arch and floral centerpieces. She and Tom were also such a pleasure to work with throughout! Great value - highly recommend!

We were married on July 21, 2021. Cress Floral was beyond easy to work with. I found Lori through the Knot when I was searching for a florist locally. From the very beginning Lori was so easy to work with. I showed her my vision and she was able to select flowers that made it become a reality. I still cannot get over how beautiful everything was. If you want a great experience than Cress is the way to go.

The flowers were beyond beautiful and exactly what my daughter had envisioned. Lori went above and beyond from the bridesmaids bouquets to the stunning centerpieces.

I was not satisfied with the service I received on my wedding day. They assured me that this “never happens”, but that is besides the point. We ironed out the details several times leading up to the wedding about where the flowers would be delivered to. I provided addresses, and they verified them multiple times. The bouquets for the bridesmaids and I were being delivered to one address and the boutonnières for the groomsmen, groom, and father of the bride and groom were being delivered to the church ceremony venue. The boutonnières were mistakenly delivered to a different church. I was stressing out an hour before my wedding not knowing where the flowers were and wanting my day to be as perfect as it could be. I called Cress several times that afternoon and each time the person said she would contact the delivery driver and call me back; she never called back. The boutonnières were not delivered to the church and therefore were not used in the wedding ceremony. I was very disappointed by this unprofessionalism and would not use Cress in the future. The only reason I am giving two stars is because after the ceremony, someone from Cress had more boutonnières made at a shop near the venue. They delivered those ones to the reception venue in time for photos to be taken. I was thankful for that, but that did not redeem the fact that they did not deliver in the first place. They did apologize for the inconvenience, and I believe it is sincere, but the point is that they added much more stress than I already had on my wedding day and this should never have happened. I would not recommend using them.

Lori and Tom went above and beyond for our wedding day. Even with postponing to our 3rd date, Lori was so flexible along the way. Our arrangements, bouquets and everything in between came out absolutely beautiful and better than I could’ve ever imagined. The Boathouse looked so magical and we received so many compliments on our flowers! Lori is so amazing at what she does, and is a genuine lovely person to work with! Couldn’t recommend more!

Lori, Tom and the entire Cress Floral team have been lifesavers during our COVID time wedding. Cress Floral was our first choice back in February 2020 when we first started planning our wedding. We visited the team at their beautiful storefront and Lori and Tom worked with us for close to two hours going over in fine detail our floral concept and colors. We had preliminary mockups of my bridal bouquet that very day! The quote was not long in coming either, with Lori making sure she stayed within our budget but still giving us the special Mondial roses in the colors we loved. Fast forward to March 2020 when everything had to be cancelled due to COVID, Lori was understanding and promised to keep in touch with us. We decided to go ahead with our wedding this April 2021, we reached to Lori again and she invited us back into her shop to redesign our concept (now with a Spring Cherry Blossom Theme). Even though our wedding became a much smaller event, Lori still gave us the same consideration, reimagining the bridal bouquet, arch and table arrangements with the utmost care and attention to detail. We walked away from our consultation confident that Cress Floral would be able to pull off our concept to the tee. In the coming months, Lori and Tom were so responsive to our changes whether it was adding corsages for the moms and grandmas, modifying the arch dimensions or requesting special roses for our cake design, they always responded ASAP and with the utmost professionalism. My fiancée and I always felt like we were the most important wedding she had. I cannot say enough about how warm she is and how great her attention to detail is. She mentioned she had a background in fashion and design and I can certainly see how it has made her an excellent wedding florist! The day of our wedding, Lori personally delivered my bridal bouquet, corsages and boutonnieres. Seeing how happy she was for us made my day even more special. When we walked into the venue we were impressed and overwhelmed at the beautiful arch Tom created for us. It was studded with roses, cherry blossoms and overflowing with elegance. The centerpieces for the guest tables were perfectly sized and soo fragrant, everyone wanted to take them home! Finally, our sweetheart table was such a stunner. As you can see from the pictures the flowers from Cress really encompassed the Spring Cherry Blossom theme we were going for. No one could have done it better and I have to say Cress Floral is my go to florist now. I have gone there for everything, funeral flowers, Mother’s Day flowers, etc always receiving the most attentive care from Lori and her team. I would definitely choose Cress Floral again and again for all my floral needs

Cress Floral is the absolute best. I worked with Lori Cress and she was phenomenal. She personally created my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets. She showed me the actual flowers that she planned to use during our initial meeting and everything was perfect on our wedding day. The table arrangements were absolutely beautiful and we received so many compliments on all the floral arrangements. She created two amazing pedestal arrangements for the ceremony. Everything was breathtaking and made our wedding so special. I highly recommend Cress Floral.

Lori steered me in the right direction when choosing flowers and we could not have been happier with how they turned out. Our wedding day was one of the most challenging things to plan, but when I say Cress Floral Decorators made my life easier, I cannot even express completely how much. Lori, one of the owners, was a doll to work with. She is one of the kindest people I have ever met, and she was always in constant communication with us about every little detail, which to us as the bride and groom, is always really important and very hard to find. I have never heard so many compliments about a florist before like this. She personally came and delivered all of our flowers early in the morning, and set up the whole venue with her team. She made that room look perfect. The ambience was outstanding and beautiful. I would highly recommend her to anyone. Guests were beyond impressed at the whole arrangement. Cress Floral is amazing! We had the most beautiful flowers for our "mini-mony" in September and cannot wait for the real deal next year. We had to postpone our original wedding 3 times and Lori and Tom were so great and easy to work with. I would recommend them to everyone I know who's getting married in New York.
