l feel special. I had my mom, MIL, and a few bridesmaids with me and they were so accommodating and friendly. They allowed our champagne and never made this indecisive bride feel rushed. When I explained that I was hoping for sleeves and the dress I chose didn’t have sleeves, they recommended the most amazing seamstress to bring my vision to life. I’m thankful for these ladies, and recommend them to anyone and everyone!

s the most comfortable but the whole team there made me feel amazing. They are the best hype women and know what they are doing. They will pull styles you like, and ones you don’t think you do just to make sure you find the right fit. I was never rushed and they listened to all my opinions and truly just wanted me to walk away feeling beautiful. Do yourself a favor and visit them when dress shopping, you will have the best experience!

great ideas, responsibly following up with voicemails and emailed photos to help me along my journey; Though I ultimately found "my" perfect gown elsewhere, I am so glad I came to Love & Lace. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, friendly place full of options and a knowledgeable staff.

so bad that I tried on so many dresses but they assured me that I was okay and that I needed to learn my style. Sure enough I found my dress! I went with a dress I would’ve never imagined me wearing but fell in love! Maddie was great with helping me truly picture walking down the aisle! I can’t wait to go back to try it on when it ships and to wear it on my big day! Oh and I have to add, being a teacher it is not easy finding a dress within budget but Love and Lace has beautiful and affordable dresses! Highly recommend!

utely gorgeous. As a size 14/16 in regular clothing, they offered a judgment free gown try on without worrying about squeezing into a sample size. Emily was so wonderful and provided a lot of support during my visit when I said "yes to the dress".

ushy sales people were everywhere. Love & Lace was completely different. There was absolutely no pressure and I loved every dress, compared to other places where I couldn’t seem to find anything I liked. The staff really listened and were incredibly helpful. Also, being a plus size bride was never an issue. This place is awesome. I wish I would have gone here first!

The only minor issue I had was that it was recommended I get a dress that was 2 sizes larger than the sample I had tried on (and seemingly fit into) to “give the seamstress more fabric to work with,” which ultimately wound up giving my seamstress difficulties because it was way too large. Nonetheless, everything else about the process was amazing – I was even able to email the store while I was out of town to request/authorize my veil be ordered, and it was taken care of right away. I would definitely recommend Love & Lace to anyone looking for their dream dress!

Now they've moved to a larger space so I'm not sure if it's still true, but I really loved the personal attention during my appointment. I've recommended them to several friends post-visit but even for Baltimore or DC brides, it would be well worth your trip to visit Love & Lace!

yles, alteration options, etc. I tried on wedding dresses at 3 or 4 different places in Maryland, and after setting a few aside at each location and having tried on close to 100 dresses (or it felt like 100!), I began to wonder if that saying "you'll know it when you see it" was true! I was never a dress person growing up, and really hadn't fallen in love with any of the dresses I'd tried on yet. After 1 appointment at this location, I came back to try on the 3 I'd set aside, and ended up finding and trying on "THE" dress. And it is absolutely true -- the moment I tried it on and looked in the mirror, I KNEW. It was absolutely gorgeous -- and even though I ended up scrapping the little half sleeves it came with that make a keyhole lace back, as a strapless dress it was GORGEOUS. The price was very reasonable too. Definitely give this place a shot, and if you don't find THE dress the first time, come back a few months later and check out the new dresses coming in. It might just be the place where you have that "this is it!" moment. :)

t one on one attention. I had been very nervous about this part of planning, I do not like to be the center of attention, and the thought of a shop full of people being around while I tired on clothes sounded terrible to me. Here I was able to try on dresses with just the two people from the shop and my family. They really make you feel special. Although the shop is small, they have so many options that I feel like they truly do have something for everyone. This was my one stop and it was all that I needed. If I hear of anyone I know in the area getting married in the area, I would definitely point them here first.

I was going to cancel the appointment for Love & Lace the next day, but there is a fee for last minute cancellation (which I totally understand) and I'm so glad I didn't cancel. I came in and they explain how their stock worked and based on the description and picture of the dresses they were able to pick out a few dresses that definitely rivaled the ones i saw the day before. The process they used was super helpful; they have you rate the dresses that are your top 3 as your trying them on, if one is better #3 gets replaced. It was so much easier than what I had experienced the day before just trying on dress after dress and trying to compare them to each other. After going through the initially picks of dresses, they got me back into my top 3 dresses, starting at #3 and giving you a veil or jewelry so you can really envision yourself on the day. After picking the dress they were as excited as the rest of us! They were super sweet the whole time my mom and maid of honor were there and so helpful. They have a wonderful selection of dresses that can fit every bride. Definitely visit them if you're looking for a dress that isn't going to cost a fortune. Even if you have no budget, they are so sweet and eager to help.
