Rebecca Renner – Luna and Lark Photography – I have tried multiple times to come up with the right words to describe Rebecca – amazing, wonderful, fabulous, unmatched, creative genius – those words don’t even come close to describing her, but they are the best that I could do. It started with my daughter and son-in-law’s engagement photos last October at the Jersey Shore. It was cloudy, overcast, foggy and just not a very nice day. I was convinced they were going to have be re-done. Instead, they turned out to be the most romantic and beautiful photos – I was in shock. Each photo had so much to it – a year later I scroll through those photos, and I am still in awe of them. I remember my daughter asking me to look at her website and Instagram photos – each couple was so different and so were their pictures. Obviously, there are key moments at every wedding that I think every couple is trying to capture – what Rebecca does is capture that moment but somehow it is the couple’s photo and not just a ‘cookie cutter photo’. Again, I was so impressed – the organic creativity to pick up on another couples vibe and bring those pictures to life is a gift. Rebecca has that gift! On a personal level she is one of kindest human beings I have met. She is patient, understanding and accommodating – just a lovely person to deal with. When we received the preview photos I was instantly in tears. The emotion that she captured was unreal. Every single photo is beautiful!!! Rebecca is one of kind and if she is available you would be incredibly lucky to have her as your photographer.

Rebecca and the Luna & Lark team made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day. She is so talented and sees beauty in moments and spaces that most people would ignore. She accurately and authentically captured the joy and fun of our day and we all had a blast working together. We literally love Rebecca so much!! As you can see, her photos are STUNNING. From the moment I found her, I was captivated by her art, and I instantly reached out and had a meeting with her! Our package included an engagement shoot, and once we all met in person, I knew we had made the best decision booking her. The engagement shoot was so fun and she made us feel beyond comfortable!! The pictures turned out *amazing*, just as our album did from our wedding day (SO MANY PICTURES). She is very professional, fun, and such a genuine and cool person!! I felt at ease on our wedding day knowing Rebecca would capture everything beautifully (with her included second shooter!), and I cannot express just how wonderful it was working with her. Rebecca is absolutely amazing both professionally and personally! From the very first phone call, it was so easy to communicate and connect with Rebecca. She was very responsive and communicated clearly. She had the challenging task of getting our dog, and daughter (4yr old), and let's be honest, my husband cooperated in front of the camera and ALL of our pictures came back absolutely stunning. Rebecca is everything we were looking for in a photographer! She’s talented, professional but still extremely personable, and great with communication. We are definitely not people that are comfortable in front of a camera, but our engagement photos and wedding day photos were absolutely stunning, everyone was complementing them! Rebecca is unbelievable!!! Leading up to the wedding, we had our engagement shoot with her and she was incredible. Our pictures came back quickly and they were beautiful! She was so easy to work with and made taking pictures so fun. She was able to capture such beautiful candid moments. From the initial intake call, we knew we were in great hands with Rebecca. She answered all of our questions and made us feel at ease. The day of the wedding Rebecca was a life saver. You spend a lot of time with your photographer and we felt as if we were spending time with an old friend! She was fun, energetic, and kept us exactly on time and were we needed to be. She got all the specific shots she requested and spent the entire day with a smile on her face. If you are able to book Rebecca for your wedding know you are in the BEST hands! I cannot recommend Rebecca enough!

Rebecca is a super-star. Leading up to the wedding weekend, she was SUPER organized and made us feel very comfortable. Our engagement photoshoot was a dream, and she did some really unique effects that we would never have thought of. The actual wedding day it rained (outdoor wedding), and we had to do a lot of adjusting. Rebecca rolled with every change and helped lead us through what turned out to be an epic and fantastic day...and she captured it all from beginning to end! Cannot recommend this pro enough. Please, if you're having an event, wedding, bar mitzvah, sweet 16, quinceanera, birthday --whatever! -- book Rebecca! She's the best!

I cannot say enough positive things about Rebecca. She is the ultimate hype woman, 100% go with the flow, and super attentive. I love the importance she puts on capturing the special moments throughout the night. The preview photos we've received are beyond gorgeous and I can't wait to see the rest!

Where do I start?? I sought out Rebecca as our engagement and wedding photographer in 2019 purely because I loved her artistic eye, and got so much more. She is an incredibly helpful and compassionate human, who rocks at her job, and my husband Kevin and I are so happy to have chosen her. She was incredibly responsive and understanding when we initially chose to postpone our wedding date due to Covid restrictions. When the big day finally came in October '21, she was there to advise me on my wedding timeline, answer any questions I had, and came with plenty of ideas of her own on the day of. We loved having her enthusiasm the day of the wedding, and she makes you feel at ease on one of the craziest days of your life (lol). I have so many incredible photos, Rebecca and her second Heather worked incredibly hard, even staying later than I expected to make sure we got the best reception photos. As a testament to her work ethic, my cousin booked Rebecca for her own wedding a month after seeing her at ours!! Album was also processed in a super reasonable time frame, friends could not believe it was not 6+ months later based on the number of photos she took. We had such a hard time finding a photographer in the pandemic that fit what we were looking for and was available. Everyone was booked and we were worried we would have to compromise on one of our most important vendors. Somehow, she had a couple cancel on our date and she was available. After talking to her on the phone, we knew she was the photographer for our wedding. On our day, Rebecca was truly incredible! Her calm personality kept everyone relaxed, yet her confident and upbeat spirit had everyone feeling like they were models. She caught some of the most candid, flattering, and genuine moments that other photographers would have missed. Additionally, her photographs are very high quality (resolution), which was also extremely important for us. She worked so hard for us on our wedding day and even had stunning sneak peaks within a few days! In a time when wedding vendors are being worked harder than ever, Rebecca showed up with a hype energy, kept all of her timeline promises, and delivered more stunning, artistic, emotionally beautiful, memorable photos than I could have ever dreamed of. If we could go back again, we would hire Rebecca in a heart beat-our money was VERY well spent on her work. We can’t wait to work with her again in the future!

Rebecca is easily the best person to have at your wedding. She was our favorite vendor hands down. What she does is absolutely magical and i love reliving our day (and of course crying from pure happiness) when i look at our photos. she’s also the best hype woman and our pup loved her. My photos were the #1 investment and my top item i cared the most about and had a specific look for them. When I found Rebecca I knew I had to have her. Through the last year she was so helpful towards her couples especially through the pandemic. You need her on your day!!!

There are no words that can fully express the gratitude I have for Rebecca. When I started planning my wedding and looking into photographers, I often heard from other people (and photographers) that your photos are an "investment". I always thought that sounded kinda weird, but after working with Rebecca I now truly understand what that means. Rebecca gave my husband and I the gift of not only the memories to look back on, but the emotions and feelings from that day that we get to relive every time we look at her photos. When speaking with Rebecca before the wedding, my husband (then fiance) and I specifically asked for less "dramatic" pose-y portraits and for more natural candid shots. She delivered miles beyond our expectations. It was like she somehow captured every single laugh, smile, hug, and kiss that happened that day. I look back at my photos and I can't help but both laugh and cry every time, because she captured all the big hilarious moments but also all the sweet small moments that would have been forgotten had we not had the photo proof they happened. She blew me away. I would recommend her over and over again. I also have to mention how awesome of a human she is. So was her second photographer, Elizabeth. My ENTIRE wedding party and family could not stop talking about how great of people the photographers were, how nice they were, and how efficient they were. Even the groomsmen, who spent most of the day with Elizabeth, kept talking about how awesome she was. Both Rebecca and Elizabeth were very professional but still had us laughing and had a good time together. Book Rebecca, you will not be disappointed.

I don't even know where to start. Rebecca is the most amazing, kind hearted, talented, photographer. Her artistic eye and ability to capture you and your partner, as you really are, is unmatched. We did our engagement shoot with Rebecca as well. In June 2020, we headed out to Rocks State Park, and as soon as she waded across a river to get a shot of us, I knew she was our kind of people! She took the time to help us feel less awkward, but also embraced that fact that we are weirdos sometimes and really made those photos extra special. Day of the wedding comes and I swear, my bridal party thought Rebecca and I had known each other for years. That is how comfortable she makes you feel and how genuinely excited she is photograph your special day. There is a reason she is the first vendor we booked. Please do yourself a favor and book Rebecca for your wedding, family portraits, big life events, you name it. You will not regret it.

If you’re thinking about booking Rebecca for your wedding, do it!! I can assure you her skillset goes far beyond her INCREDIBLE portfolio. True talent can be hard to find, but what makes Rebecca incredible is that her talent is amplified by being such a genuinely sweet and caring person. She is the calming presence every bride needs on their wedding day. Rebecca excels at establishing instant rapport everyone she meets. She’ll frame a fantastic shot within moments, and then know exactly what to say to make every expression captured within her lens look (and feel) effortless. More than that though, Rebecca has an eye that catches each unspoken glance or shimmering eye around her. I would book her again and again, if I could, and I know that my friends and family feel the same way. My guests consistently commented about how kind she was throughout the day, and that only increased after they saw the finished photos! (My friends, who aren’t engaged yet, want to book her, and my married friends say they wish they had known of her sooner!) Obviously, I could gush about Rebecca all night. But the last thing I must say is that Rebecca delivered more than a beautiful way to document our wedding. She also kept order and sanity in my life when other vendors or our venue fumbled. She was organized and purposeful in everything she did, while remaining light hearted through every step. During a lot of confusion and stress, Rebecca was a calming tide I knew I could depend on throughout my entire day. Timelines change? It didn’t matter, she had a printed shot list of everything I asked for and was able to adapt to every twist and turn the day brought effortlessly. She did everything I asked for and more. My parents adore her, my bridal party adores her, my husband and I (clearly) adore her and I’m sure you will too! I couldn't recommend her more!

Prior to hiring Rebecca, I read review after review from many photographers. I scoured instagrams, etc. Every time, I just came back to Rebecca's page because I was obsessed with her work; it is pure artistry. After talking to Rebecca, I was over the moon and knew I had found the perfect photographer. She was kind, intelligent, prompt, easy to work with, professional and funny!! We had our engagement photo shoot and prior to, I worried would we photograph well, would we smile? Rebecca knew exactly how to get us in the moment and the photos turned out far better than I could have imagined. I just knew that when my wedding rolled around she would capture my lifetime moment with my new hubby and she did not disappoint. Everyone that I show my photos too are overwhelmed with complete joy. Every time I look at them, I feel like I am right there in the moment again. Rebecca is a proven pro and I didn't even have to give her any ideas, she just made the magic happen. Without a doubt, if you are looking for a photographer to capture your precious life moments, look no further because she is a real gem. We can’t thank Rebecca enough for being part of our special day. We interviewed several wedding photographers and easily felt the most comfortable with Rebecca, not to mention her style is stunning. She traveled all the way to Baltimore for our engagement photos and managed to make us look good on one of the hottest days of the summer! When COVID hit Rebecca was so super supportive of our decision to continue with our October wedding. Our family and friends all complimented us on how awesome our photographer was, and were so blown away by the photos of the wedding. We will cherish our photos forever and can’t wait to have Rebecca photograph future family milestones.

Rebecca Renner is a catch! You truly will not be disappointed. She photographed my wedding on 11/14 and the entire day my bridesmaids were going bonkers over how great the photos were. I couldn’t believe it myself when I took a peak! I am so happy to have had Rebecca take part in such a special day. She is talented and super fun to work with. Definitely will be using her again for other milestone events!

I wish I could give Rebecca more than 5 stars because she deserves it! She captured our day in the most beautiful, authentic, candid, heartfelt, and fun way. She listened to what we had in mind and also threw in her creative input (which I loved) to help us get every shot we could possibly want. Our photos are so beyond incredible, I never want to stop looking at them. And not only did she capture our day perfectly, but she made it better, more comfortable, and a blast! My husband & I get photos done every year, but in the three years we’ve known Rebecca, we have gotten five sessions done because she is just THAT talented. She has an amazing ability to create beautiful moments that perfectly encapsulate everything I love about us as a couple. I wish I could do my wedding over just to have her take the photos!

There are no words for how incredibly talented Rebecca is. I used her for my Oct. 2018 wedding in Baltimore, as well as engagement/family photo shoot prior to that. Rebecca was 100% professional and reliable every step of the way. My husband and I laughed so much at both our engagement session as well as on our wedding day, Rebecca made us feel comfortable every step of the way and it shows in all of our photos. We were so excited to go through our hundreds of photos and see moments from first looks to the last dance when all of our guests made a circle around us and then bombarded us for the biggest group hug I had ever been a part of. Rebecca was such a joy to work with, our experience with her was absolute perfection from beginning to end! When I first contacted her, she responded immediately and worked with my difficult schedule to set up a meeting to discussion my vision for the wedding. Even from our first conversation, I could tell that she genuinely cares about getting to know her clients and what they prioritize and want to capture on the big day. She was always so responsive and available by phone or email, communication was a total breeze. I appreciate that her packages include a complimentary engagement shoot, which gives you the opportunity for a test run in front of the camera. My husband and I pride ourselves on how awkward we are when taking photos, but Rebecca was so warm, friendly, and approachable, that she immediately assuaged our fears and made us feel comfortable, She gave us expert guidance and pointers on how to pose and position ourselves. By the end, both my husband and I commented how surprised we were at how easy it felt and how much fun we had. Leading up to the big day, Rebecca sends you a detailed questionnaire to ensure she captures all the photos you want, whether that be photos with specific family members or a sunset shoot. On the day of the wedding, things were hectic as expected and I ended up running half an hour late which cut into the prewedding photo time, but Rebecca was totally understanding and got things moving right away. She took charge and guided us and our large wedding party throughout the venue to capture the right shots. She has such an eye for the perfect lighting and backdrops. We just got our full photos back, and were blown away by how beautiful they were! I sent them to friends and got so many compliments on how they turned out. I will treasure them for a lifetime. Rebecca is not only incredibly talented, but a wonderful human being, and we loved working with her. I wholeheartedly recommend her to all future brides!

Rebecca was absolutely incredibly shooting our engagement pictures, faux wedding and wedding pictures! She went above and beyond! Rebecca is BRILLIANT. She doesn't just capture photos, she captures moments. I would recommend her to anyone who wants their special day/occasion captured. She's a joy to work with, and an amazing person on top of being a crazy talented photographer!! She really takes it upon herself to make sure your shoot and special day goes as smoothly as possible (even if it's unrelated to the photography itself!).
