Lupe was so wonderful, professional and responsive! She deserves my review here because I feel that she is underrated on TheKnot! I was still desperate looking for a hair stylist 2 weeks before my wedding day, and I really appreciated her respo...nse the next day I emailed her. Her rates are absolutely reasonable -- I was so regretted for spending much time looking for other top rated stylists in the Bay Area who are either too far away or expensive.
She is also very calm and accommodating - her energy is perfect for a rush and stressed bride. I only had a short consultation with her, and she listened to my needs and made me feel comfortable. Most brides usually do a trial run for the wedding, but both Lupe and I thought it was not necessary since I was not seeking a complicated hair updo with braids. I like that she was confident with what she does! She was even kind enough to help me arrange a colorist to correct my hair color within such a short time frame!
On the day of my wedding I was quite in a hurry, but when she arrived she was able to switch me into a relaxed mode. I have long and thick hair, and she was patient enough to pull off a classic, modern and elegant updo for me.
She also helped with my mom's makeup -- she was very happy with it! I am so grateful that she made both my mom and I look fabulous! Thank you Lupe!!
