. I loved Andrea the minute she picked up the phone. She calmly reassured me that even though I was asking for her help last minute, she could do it! I had a trial the day before my wedding - I went to her house and immediately felt like I'd made a new friend. She was so kind, so friendly, and so easy to talk to. Not to mention, she NAILED my makeup. I do TV for a living and so I'm used to doing my own makeup and how that looks, but she made me look and feel like a real BRIDE. One of my biggest insecurities is my eyebrows - and I've had people who watch me on TV tell me I need to fill them in -- but the way Andrea did it, she made me still look like ME. She told me she WANTED me to look like me. She didn't want to add features to me - she wanted to use what I had and make me shine. I loved this SO, so much. It made me feel like my natural beauty was enough. I left the trial and went into the wedding the next day COMPLETELY confident that my makeup was going to be amazing. On the wedding day, she showed up early...and we spent some time just me and her talking while she set up. I cherished this time we spent together, getting to know one another on an incredibly deep level. She dealt with a complication with my mother-in-law flawlessly, kindly coached my sister (who panics when her eyes are touched) through the makeup process, and also helped my mom (who never wears makeup) feel beautiful and confident. I'm not kidding when I say the three of us still talk about her and how much we loved her. She did my makeup that day with the utmost care - like I was a painting she was going to display in an art gallery. And I can't tell you how beautiful I felt when I saw myself...I still love looking at the pictures. I look like a bride, but I look like me. And that was ALL her. I have to say, too, the most special part...was when she was all said and done...she waited to see me in my dress before she left. She could have easily packed up and headed home, but she waited patiently as I got my dress on, which took forever because I had a bunch of stubborn buttons! I loved showing her the full look. And the fact that she stayed to see showed me that she cared about ME. We had made a real connection. A friendship. I hugged her and assured her that our paths would cross again, and since then, we've still kept in contact. I sent her pictures after the fact, and just recently sent a Christmas card. She keeps me updated on her life, too. I know and love that in Andrea, I've found a lifelong friend. I adore her and couldn't recommend her enough. She is as down to earth as it gets, and the most incredible makeup artist in the world. She will make the most amazing impact on your wedding, and if you're anything like me, she will make a BEAUTIFUL impact on your life! LOVE YOU, ANDREA!

Prior to my wedding day, I had my makeup done plenty of time as a bridesmaid and for events, but Andrea made my wedding makeup feel differentiated, elevated, and natural at the same time. She customized each detail and color to me/my palette. On the day of, she had such a calming presence while we were getting ready (made sure I had plenty to eat and drink) and kept us on schedule. Her partner Lynne was great as well. The entire wedding party looked gorgeous. Absolutely recommend, Andrea is worth it.

What I always tell people about Andrea's skill is that not only is the makeup beautiful, but it lasts - like 12+ hours! Andrea was more of a friend than a makeup vendor for the wedding - we want her in our life every day!! Whether you are super particular, or you have no idea what you want, she will deliver. Andrea really is the best choice you can make. She listens to what you want and gives suggestions based off of your skin tone, features, etc. I am not the most versed on makeup when it gets passed bronzer and mascara, and when Andrea came to do a makeup trial, she blew me away with her skill...And then the makeup she did for the actual wedding was just stunning (!!!) - I received SO many compliments. She also did my mom, step-mom, and mother in law's makeup, and they looked absolutely gorgeous!!! We all have different skin tones, and she was able to highlight all of our best features. Her team is also so talented. My bridesmaids looked SO good... Honestly, I could go on and on about how wonderful our experience with Andrea was. She made me feel so beautiful on our wedding day. I would choose Andrea time and time again and recommend her to anyone that would ask.

neral, I was very nervous about the process. Andrea was so patient and wonderful to talk to throughout the process. She listened to everything I liked and disliked and made changes as we went (during the trial). When there were elements to my makeup I was certain I wanted (I said I was nervous, but make no mistake- I was still picky) she made sure I got it and was satisfied with the results. (I probably went through 5 different shades of lipstick) All of these things we discussed months before the wedding she executed flawlessly on the day of, in addition to being a wonderful person to have around while getting ready. It was like having another friend around! I really would recommend Andrea to anyone getting their makeup done. The Cape has so many weddings going on that it can be sensory overload, but I can't express how helpful it is to have someone straightforward to discuss this element of the wedding planning with since every photo you'll be reminded of how your face looked. For context I was looking for a fairly "natural-beauty", but glamorous look. Yeah, I hate that phrasing too, but it's the best I can do. Kind of like when you want your hair to look like you woke up that put together and beautiful, but you actually put in 2 hours of work and made yourself late to work to make it look that way- that's what I was going for with my face.

pstick of all the portfolios I looked through Andrea was the only person I felt I should contact about wedding make-up. I had previously had a not so great experience with airbrush make-up as a bridesmaid so I was nervous to try again. Once I spoke with Andrea we set up a trial where she welcomed myself, my mom, and cousin into her home. As soon as we arrived before having any make-up even applied I was ready to book with her because of how kind and genuine she is. During my trial Andrea took the time to ask me what I didn’t like, what I was comfortable with etc. and she assured me if the make-up was done correctly I shouldn’t even feel it. When she was done working her magic I still felt like me but her work was stunning. I didn’t feel over done at all, it was full make-up done perfectly natural- which until that day I really didn’t think was possible. I knew she was the perfect fit for myself, bridesmaids, and mom since they also are not a big “glam” group. Wedding day came and all of my bridesmaids loved her as I knew they would and we have all never felt more beautiful or looked better! A millions thanks to this sweet woman with so much talent!

Though we had perfect weather, I think regardless my make-up would have remained flawless through sweat and tears and I was fortunate enough to have Andrea make me feel absolutely fabulous on my big day! Andrea's personality is so great and I felt sad that we'd only have the few times together that we did but she's always in contact with me and truly cares about her brides! verything I could have asked for in a makeup artist: professional, listened to what I wanted (and delivered), showed up early on the big day (was already set up and ready to go when I arrived), calm demeanor, kind and a good sense of humor! It was a pleasure having her on what can be a nervous/hectic morning (I think she was the calmest person in the room of 8-10 girls and helped me and my mom stay calm too!). She has so much experience and it shows. Both my mom's make up and mine were perfect. I wanted a natural look, but wanted my features to pop - which is exactly what I got. My mom looked beautiful - without having a trial her makeup was so well suited for her. Andrea uses the best products. Although I don't use products that have synthetic ingredients (which unfortunately all expensive/longlasting brands use - NARS, Chanel, etc); it was a good choice to use on my wedding day. I use only organic/natural makeup, but I wanted my makeup to last and I'm glad I went with Andrea's suggestion to use the products she knows have a good track record for this. I used the airbrush option which was great for my skin and the look I wanted (lucky enough to have decent skin so just used a light application). She also introduced me to setting makeup with rose water - such a great technique to get a subtle glowy look. Thank you so much Andrea - truly such a great experience working with you!
