I love my makeup!! And I was impressed by myself's looking on my wedding day. I have asian eyes and I wanted to have dark and thick eye liner and Doris did a good job. My eyes looked way open. They were very effecient. I had 4 bridesmaid and my mom, and they finished everything on time and also had some time to do the catch up. Doris did my makeup and she sent 2 assistants to do the other 5. I am glad that I did not have to start early in the morning like other brides. I chose the special for my bridesmaids which was $75 per person. It was way cheaper than others. The only thing is that it was just for light makeup. The assistant refused to do it when one of my bridemaid wanted her to add more eye shadow. However, when I did my trail, I did not like it. I thought she could pick the best color and style based on her experience. I looked old with purple and pink. My eyes don't match pink. I told Doris that I did not like it and she offered me a second trail with no charge. That was very nice of her. This time she put darker eye shadow, like smokey style, but I was not satisfied. I was going to try another stylist but I ran out of time. They are very good I think. My suggestion is to make sure you tell them exactly what you want.

Dorys and her assistant did hair & makeup for me and my three bridesmaids. She was very professional - on time, friendly, clean - and listened to feedback and "wish lists" from each of the women. We made changes on the fly from my trial run and I appreciated her flexibility. She came recommended by both of my cousins who also used her for their weddings in Hawaii. Recommended!

The ladies at Maleana Cosmetics are great! They made me too like myself, with a little less flaws, lol. My bridesmaids also enjoyed working with them. Very friendly and proffesional.

Her makeup made me look so natural and felt like I had nothing on. Her lip gloss is great. My hair looked great, too!

I am not one who has ever...ever had my hair and makeup done professionally. But a wedding is one of those occassions when you go the extra mile, step out of your comfort zone, take chances. Dorys was really incredible. Honestly, I wasn't too impressed after my trial session, but then again, I am not used to seeing my self that way. On the day of my wedding, Dorys arrived early, we got started and finished up in perfect time. She went the extra step and helped zip me up AND fasten my necklace. I couldn't believe that it was my reflection I was seeing in the mirror. Dorys did such an intricate up-do. I received so many compliments on my hair especially. I can't thank Dorys enough for everything!

Dorys and her team were wonderful to work with! I thought my hair and makeup looked amazing. The makeup was fresh and classic. I felt just like me but more beautiful. The makeup lasted all day long. Dorys was open to all my suggestions. My bridesmaids hair and makeup was also done beautifully.

I heard about Maleana Cosmetics from my photographer and I'm so glad I asked for her advice. My stylist was Liz and she was great! I thought the sample photos on their website was great, but to see how she turned me from average to stunning was unbelievable. Not only that, but the makeup and hair stayed looking great for the rest of the day. Even more amazing was how she came to my hotel room and I was able to spend some precious time relaxing while she made me beautiful. I would recommend Maleana Cosmetics to anyone for any event. They are irreplaceable!

Dorys w/ Maleana cosmetics was wonderful to work with! She is a very talented professional and was flexible to work with me to find my perfect look, from a hairstyle change to a skintone change; I had gotten quite tan since our trial run, but she took it in stride and adjusted the makeup colors beautifully! She did my hair and makeup, three of my bridesmaids, and both moms, with the help of an assistant. Everyone was ecstatic with their look. I chose to do airbrushing and lashes, and everything stayed put the entire time, through my crying during pretty much the entire ceremony, to crying during toasts, to crying through the first dance, and then sweating like no other on the dance floor :) My hair stayed in place too, which is quite a feat considering the wind that day! I couldn't be happier with her services!

Doris was fantastic! Very sweet and cool. She had a good idea about what is popular today and was very flexible. She and her assistant were helpful and sweet and worked well with everyone! I loved Doris and would definitely use her again!

I have never professionally paid to get my hair & makeup done before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I'm pretty cheap when it comes to spending money on myself so at first I felt the money I paid for myself & 3 others was high. I did not get many quotes though so I'm not sure what to compare it to. But when the day came & my hair & makeup was done, I felt absolutely gorgeous & for that it's priceless. Doris was my stylist & she did an amazing job! I would definitely use her again if I need her services in Honolulu & wouldn't think twice about it!

Dorys at Maleana Cosmetics is extremely professional and easy to work with. She is very experienced, but also listens to the client's request. She is punctual, reliable and has a great team of stylists. I would highly recommend Maleana Cosmetics to anyone in need of bridal styling on Oahu.

Dorys and Maleana Cosmetics are the best! Most of my bridesmaids don't like to wear too much make-up and they felt comfortable the whole day. They even gave us straws so we didn't mess up our lipgloss.

Heard that they are very good but I had a hard time getting a hold of them and their schedule for initial meetings was difficult for me to do.

Overall I was pleased. They did not warn me that one of the girls was leaving early so we had to rush some of the bridesmaids. I thought they were a little overpriced. My makeup lasted all day though and hair did turn out nice.
