We used Malverne Pastry Shop for our wedding cake, and it was wonderful! We went with a three-tier chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream and raspberry jam between the layers, decorated with a lace pattern in white icing and blue and purple-...tipped flowers on the top. The buttercream was smooth and delicious, the cake had a great texture, and the flavors were well-balanced.
We got married in Queens, too far for delivery, so we picked the cake up the day before, and it was beautifully decorated and very carefully packed. It was also very well-constructed with internal supports, so we had no trouble transporting it to our venue. In addition to being beautiful and well-made, the cake was also delicious! We had lots of positive feedback from our guests, and had some left over to enjoy later. Highly recommend Malverne Pastry Shop for your wedding! (And all of their other things in the cases looked delicious, we will be back to try those!)
