My wife and I are beyond happy that we had Matt Winter Band play at our wedding. Between the band playing awesome music and bringing great energy, and the whole team managing the logistics behind the scenes, MWB was just an absolute pleasure to work with. They made some amazing suggestions that we weren't thinking about to make our day more special. We were also complimented by every one of our guests on how awesome our band was. I cannot recommend them enough! If you're considering having a band at your wedding, don't hire anyone else but these guys.

We hired Matt Winter Band for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception and they did not disappoint! They were so receptive of our extremely detailed song list and they made sure they had the flow of the night correct, as well as pronunciation of names. Matt even came up to us before the reception to introduce himself and make sure we knew to reach out with any last minute changes or requests. Our dance floor was electric! He started off with acoustics for the cocktail hour which many guests commented on how talented Matt Winter was! Then Matt Winter and a 6 piece band played for our reception! The dance floor was FULL the entire night. They played such great songs and fully listened to our music preferences and vibe for the evening! The SAX players was a huge hit! He got on the dance floor and everything! The next day every guest was commenting on how amazing the band was! We were sad to say goodbye at the end of the night!

Matt Winter Band performed at our wedding on 4/29/23 for our ceremony with violin, Matt solo on guitar for cocktail hour and the full band for the reception. We LOVED Matt Winter Band. Having never seen them perform and booking them based off of recommendations we were a little nervous. But, they BLEW us away. They sounded amazing, were super interactive and let our friends and family have a karaoke session- HA! From the onset, Matt Winter Band was the perfect choice for us for our wedding. Communication with the whole team was clear and timely, and as we considered our options, Matt really went the extra mile. He recorded a minute and a half slowed down version of the song we chose for our first dance! Words cannot express how amazing Matt Winter and his band are in every way. Top talent and professionalism. Matt sang solo at our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. Our wedding was at Opal Sands Resort in Clearwater Beach. We had the band play at our wedding reception and we also got the photo booth through them. My guests cannot stop talking about how amazing their team member running the Photo Booth was and how great the band performed. I was referred by a friend that had hired Matt in the past for corporate events. Matt Winter Band is the best of the best! We knew going into our Big Day to expect great things from them - and they still managed to exceed all expectations! Between their great song selection and high energy entertaining, they had our guests of all ages dancing all night long. Despite our wedding day also being the day Hurricane Nicole landed in Tampa Bay, the band didn't skip a beat. Additionally, Matt Winter's expertise helped guide us with A/V decisions for our multi-room reception layout to ensure guests had high quality sound no matter which room they were in. If you like jazz, we also STRONGLY recommend addition of saxophone player --- not only did he provide great background music at during cocktail hour and dinner, but also serenaded my husband and I on the dance floor during our private last dance (a truly "WOW" moment). Matt Winter Band truly took our magical day to the next level, and our guests are STILL talking about them!

Absolutely knock out over the top. We hired Matt winter and 13 piece band with full horn section and dueling saxophones with a DJ and it was insane! Everyone will not stop talking about our wedding. Dueling saxophones battling out on the dance floor which was over the top! It was like a private concert for our guests. Dance floor was packed the entire time. Matt Winter Band is hands down the BEST band you will ever book for your wedding. He and the band were spectacular from start to finish! Matt performed live acoustic during our cocktail hour and sounded like an angel. Once we got into the reception and Matt Winter Band started playing, the dancing literally never stopped!! Special shoutout to the saxophone player as well who had a full on SOLO during one of the songs in the middle of the dance floor while everybody was going wild around him. Truly a moment in the night we will never forget! And to top it off, we included the DJ package which was life-changing. The DJ read the rooms energy so well and played all the right songs to keep everyone on their feet. Seriously. Our guest DID NOT WANT TO LEAVE because the music was too good. This was the best investment we made for our wedding!

We hired a saxophone player for our rehearsal and a DJ for our wedding reception from Matt Winter and they were both incredible. The music was fantastic and everybody loved both.

Can't emphasize enough how awesome Matt and his band were for my daughter's wedding on 11.12.21! From the minute the couple walked onto the dance floor, the guests were dancing. And I mean - ALL NIGHT! When they took a break, their mix of DJ songs flowed in perfectly had just the right vibe and kept the party going. I think everyone would have danced 2 more hours if they could. But we had an after party with a DJ recommended by MWB and the party continued until 1am! Many thanks to MWB for their amazing sound!

The five piece band was perfect for our reception, and Matt Winter DJ'd when the band wasn't playing. They also had a pretty impressive lighting set up, and even let us steal the show a few times. We love Matt Winter!! I had a smaller wedding and had just request led Matt and his guitar. Some of my husbands family flew in from Colombia last minute and I ended up requesting an option for Spanish music as well. The team was fantastic and gave me options. We ended up adding on the ‘DJ’ option and it was perfect! Matt did an AMAZING job reading the room and playing live music and then transitioning to Spanish music to keep everyone on the dance floor. I wish I could post more stars for this INCREDIBLE band! My husband, me, and my guests were blown away. We even had hotel guests and workers asking what band was playing because they were SO good. AH-MAZING! Being from Maryland, this was a destination wedding for us and booked MWB based on all the glowing reviews on The Knot. And let me tell you, MWB managed to exceed every single expectation that I had! We booked the solo cocktail hour, duo with DJ plus, and uplighting package for our outdoor wedding at the Island Way Grill on 4/28/17. As soon as we got the venue, I already had people asking me "Where did you find this guy? He is amazing!" and that was based on the cocktail hour alone. He and his band mate (Hiram, I believe) managed to keep the dance floor of my 50 person wedding packed all night long despite the hot, humid night. His live sets were awesome with mixed songs/sets allowing him to play a greater variety without "wasting" time playing songs in their entirety and the DJ sets had all the requests, even satisfying the line dancing lovers with the "Cupid Shuffle". Communication with Sarah leading up the wedding was prompt and she always fully answered my questions, something I realized is kind of rare with wedding vendors. All in all, I would gladly recommend Matt Winter Band to any couple getting married in the Tampa Bay area, no matter how big or small the wedding!

While planning our wedding, the MOST important thing to us was that our guests had a blast dancing the night away. Matt Winter Band made our dream a reality. Before our big day, Sarah & Matt were such a pleasure to work with. The band's song list is incredibly extensive (with so many favorites) and Matt and the band even learned our first dance song just for us and shared a recorded version with us to make sure it was perfect for our best day ever. My husband and I had a small backyard wedding where Matt played for us. He was awesome! The months leading up to the wedding, he asked for a list of songs/genres/artists we preferred. He played all the music we like. And when I told him how nervous I was for the first dance, he put my mind at ease. You will love having Matt play at your wedding!!

Matt performed a solo acoustic set and dj set for our wedding and he was perfect! He has a beautiful voice and so quickly picked up on what songs got people out on the dance floor. Guests were raving about him all night (and now two days later)! You don't need to search any further!

We can't say enough good things about the Matt Winter band. They played at our daughters wedding in Sarasota recently and were amazing! They were very attentive to our wishes, our family and friends raved about them and the music, saxophone and voices were phenomenal. I heard Matt at a bridal show I attended with my then fiance (now husband!) Matt was so engaging and fun to talk to. We knew immediately he would be perfect at our reception. He is amazing playing live on his guitar and it really made out outdoor cocktail hour perfect! He has a wide range of songs he can perform and brings an extensive library of songs to DJ. Choosing Matt was one of the easiest decisions as a bride! HIGHLY recommend!

Next to picking my bride, selecting the Matt Winter Band for our wedding was the best decision I've made. We could go on and on about Matt's voice; the talented musicians; the beautiful acoustic ceremony music performed by Matt; the amazing cocktail hour with Matt, his guitar and a sax… We could tell you how great Matt's venue uplighting package was; his great emcee skill in keeping us rolling all night; or how he setup three different mic/speaker systems to meet our needs. We could mention the perfect ambient music played during dinner or how Matt played just the right DJ music during several quick breaks... But none of that adequately explains how lucky we feel to have had MWB as part of our wedding on 12/4/15. Their music and sound speak for themselves, but Matt and his wife Sarah are two of the most genuine and best people you'll ever work with. Period. Their passion is to serve you in any way possible to help make your day special. They are tremendously positive people and focus on all the oh-so-important little details while bringing a deep and personal appreciation for what a wedding day means! While reviewing all details of our service/reception with Matt, he was quick to make great suggestions for sound, lighting and venue setup, to help compliment and interact with photographers, officiant, toasters, etc… He was thinking about the entire event more than our actual wedding planner! Planning a wedding can be stressful, but every time we spoke to Matt and Sarah, we left refreshed, energized and excited for our day. They're so much more than just a wedding "band" or "vendor" and continually went out of their way with communication and in making sure we knew to call/text/email them if we had anything at all on our mind to discuss... anytime. HANDS DOWN THE BEST MONEY WE SPENT FOR OUR WEDDING! Matt made our wedding a Blast and got the crowd dancing and having a good time the whole night. He did the music at our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception and didn't miss a beat. They barely took a break. Matt and his crew sounded great and he definitely knows how to entertain a crowd! He did great at emceeing the wedding as well keeping everything flowing. A True professional! We were very disappointed at the food at our wedding, but Matt Saved the day by still helping us throw a great party. OUTSTANDING!!!! We were planning a destination wedding at the Sandpearl resort for our daughter in February 2017. We chose the MWB as so many people had recommended him and he really lived up to his reputation. We had Matt play solo while the ceremony on the beach took place and he was so wonderful and warm! He then arranged for steel drums to play during the outdoor cocktail hour and then had a six piece band play during the reception. It was so beautiful and tropical for all our out of town guests. He was very organized with the reception and kept everything on time. His music is out of this world and the dance floor was packed the ENTIRE night. He is truly an entertainer and knows how to get the crowd going. His wife Sarah was amazing and efficient with responses and dealing with all the people that needed to be included. The band made the wedding and people almost a year later are still talking about it. I was planning from far away in Maryland, I had no worries or stress with this band. Don't be tempted to go elsewhere or bother to take the time to interview, this band is the Best and absolutely amazing!

Holy WOW! Matt Winter played at our wedding and besides getting married to my gorgeous bride, dancing to his band was my favorite part of our wedding. His spirit, kindness, and energy was contagious. We hired Matt as a solo musician and DJ for our wedding reception and he truly went above and beyond our expectations!! We didn’t really rehearse anything beforehand or have a strict schedule or plan, but Matt was super fun and easy going and did an awesome job at directing the course of the evening and keeping everyone entertained. His live songs for our special dances were absolutely perfect and then as the evening went on he turned up the beat and played some great dance songs to keep the guests moving. Matt, Sarah and the entire Matt Winter Band is what made our wedding complete at The Lange Farm. They played live at our ceremony, cocktail hour and reception! We had the BEST time at our wedding and a big part of it was the Matt Winter Band!!! Our guests also enjoyed the live music and we had so much fun dancing all night. Booking the Matt Winter Band is one of the best decisions we made while wedding planning. Not only are Matt and his band incredibly talented, they are provide fantastic service. My husband is a musician, so he's very picky about music, which made finding a band very challenging. One night, we stumbled across Matt Winter on YouTube, and after listening to all his videos, we decided we had to have him play at our wedding! Throughout the planning process, we worked with Matt's wife, Sarah, who is very sweet and well-organized. She responded quickly to my numerous questions and made sure the band had all the correct information, including a song list, for the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Matt worked with my planner seamlessly. In fact, my planner said Matt went "above and beyond" and was an absolutely joy to work with. I think that speaks volumes about Matt's professionalism and expertise as an entertainer. When it came to the music, the Matt Winter Band has an extensive song list, with pretty much every classic and modern song we could think of wanting. There were a couple of rare Irish songs I wanted to play that he didn't have, and Matt purchased them off iTunes-- so thoughtful! Throughout the night, Matt and his band read the crowd really well, playing songs that kept us out on the dance floor for hours! It's a few weeks after our wedding, and we're still getting compliments on the Matt Winter Band, so if you're on the fence, just go ahead and book them. You won't regret it!

Peter and Jodi , married on 05/16/2018 We were incredibly impressed with Matt Winter Band and are so happy that we decided to hire him for our wedding in May at the Edson Keith Estate in Sarasota. From the moment we spoke to him months before our wedding to the day of he was professional, sweet and easy to talk to. He sent us demo tracks of songs when we were trying to decide which to choose for our first dance etc. His wife Sarah was amazing and always promptly answered my emails. We live in Michigan so all of our interactions were via phone or email and I couldn't be more happy and impressed. Matt is so awesome and such a talented singer. Our guests and our kids danced the night away with us and he sang all of their requests "more than once ". Matt Winter Band and his team were beyond anything we ever imagined! The entire process from booking with Sarah all the way until they packed up to leave the wedding was seamless! Talented band and extremely nice people to work with! We found Matt Winter Band through our wedding planner and are very happy that we decided to work with them. Our first contact was Sarah, their manager, who was always professional and very helpful. It was easy to work out with her exactly what we wanted (small band but still a rich sound), what kind of music we liked, and what services they offered. We went with a three-person band for the reception only and it was fantastic. They played a variety of music and really tailored their selections to our interests. They also helped us with a fun entrance we wanted to do, and the first-dance, father-daughter, and mother-son renditions of the songs we picked were astoundingly good. Matt is extremely nice and helpful, and really made his performance feel personal to our wedding. Some of our guests actually thought that he was a friend of ours because he was so engaged with the guests and music! The other band members were equally as talented and were just genuinely nice people. I would easily recommend Matt Winter Band to anyone looking for live music for their event. They were amazing! From before we even booked them, through our wedding! Easily our favorite part of our wedding night and all our guest raved about them. They replied to questions quickly, and let us make changes to our ensemble many times with zero problems. We had even submitted our song choices a bit later than we should have and they accommodated our requests perfectly. Matt Winter performed and played music that fit the style of our wedding and kept the guest entertained and on their feet all night. We couldn’t be more happy and thankful with our choice.

Matt Winter Band was beyond amazing at our wedding! Not only did they rock the house all night but they went the extra mile. They worked with my family on adding sound equipment during an outdoor ceremony to easy my mother’s worries, worked with my dad so he could surprise us with songs as a gift, and even the saxophonist came into the crowd with our glow sticks which is just a fun memory! During the whole wedding process Matt and Sarah ensured everything we wanted happened. They did a ton of extra touches behind the scenes to help that even as the bride I didn’t know about until after the fact. Our wedding was also just days after they welcomed a newborn baby. I was so honored to have them play at our wedding and already have friends asking about their contact information for their future weddings!

If we had to do our wedding day over again, and could only choose one vendor from before, it would without a doubt be Matt Winter Band. My husband was the one who found out about Matt, and was actually ready to book him based on his YouTube videos alone. I need to preface this by saying that my husband is a music junkie. He has incredible taste and appreciates so many styles of music, and this was the one part of planning the wedding that he was very passionate about. He could not have done a better job with choosing Matt Winter Band. Our guests still cannot stop talking about how incredible the band was at our wedding. They transitioned so smoothly from cocktail hour music to dinner music to dancing music for people of all ages. Everyone kept saying that this was the most they had ever danced at a wedding. Matt truly made our reception the party we envisioned it being. He kept the order of events flowing from the introductions to speeches to cake cutting and exit. On the day of the wedding, after the ceremony, we were just able to enjoy the night without worrying about anything. Guests were also surprised because the band is so talented and then they also DJ’ed some of the songs later in the evening.
