Mersadi Olson Photo & Video

for a photographer to capture our special day. After stumbling across Mersadis instagram page I KNEW she was exactly what I was looking for. Her pictures are breathtaking and I could tell by her vibe after our initial conversation we would get along great. It was like talking to a girlfriend that I’ve known for years! She gave me and my husband so many recommendations since we’ve never been to Hawaii and she literally took the planning and all of the stress off our hands. She did everything for us! Our wedding was truly a magical dream and I have her and her husband to thank for that. We've been married for three months now and still look at our pictures and watch our video daily, and after sharing them with our friends and family it leaves them speechless with all the details and beauty in every picture. Having these memories will last a lifetime. Booking her was the best decision we’ve ever made. If you are someone who wants to have memorable, candid, real, and amazing pictures/video book with mersadi you wont be disappointed! And if Hawaii isn’t your thing I heard they travel :) thank you again Mersadi & Jay for capturing all of those memories.

ustry. (WHAT?!) We found and booked a replacement videographer but then a few days later they came back and said they accidentally double booked that day. It was a week before our wedding and I was scouring Instagram to find a replacement. (Full disclosure I did get married on a Wednesday so there weren’t many weddings to compete with!) I found Mersadi and Jay and loved their work, they were available so we quickly booked them ONE WEEK OUT. When I tell you it was all meant to be, I am not exaggerating!!! I have NEVER in my life seen a more magical wedding video. I knew their work was beautiful but I am seriously in awe of what we received. When Mersadi asked what kind of video we wanted I told her - The wedding is disco themed, there will be tons of dancing, drinking, and disco balls and I really want it to feel fun. We were also writing our own vows and are madly in love so I told her I wanted it to capture that as well. PEOPLE…. When I tell you I have never seen a wedding video like this, I am not saying it just because it is my own. This video is the most perfectly beautiful compilation of the best moments of the day. I cannot describe to you the feeling I got when I watched it for the first time. My sister and brother in law who got married 3 months before me watched it and both cried and said how they have never seen a wedding video like it. (He didn’t even cry at his own wedding). They loved their own video from their big day but this was a whole different level. It is so perfectly edited, cutting back and forth from his vows to mine, they used an acoustic version of a disco song which immediately made me tear up. They so perfectly captured the energy and dancing at the reception, as well as my 3 costume changes haha. They brought to life the whole day start to finish in a way I never expected. Jay came and filmed the wedding, he was so professional, nice, accommodating, and fun to be around. We corresponded and organized everything leading up to the day with Mersadi who was equally as lovely. My only regret was that I didn’t get to meet her! My husband and I sit and watch this video together at least a couple times a day. It is so magical, so special, it brings us right back to that day and we feel like we’re reliving the whole thing over again. I know I’ve already said this, but when I tell you this is the most incredible wedding video I’m not just saying that because it’s my own wedding! Many friends who we’ve shown it to are blown away and tell us they’ve never seen a video like this. Oh, also forgot to mention that the day before the wedding our venue had a mandatory evacuation due to a growing brush fire so we actually had to find a new venue and reschedule a lot of aspects of the day. You would never be able to tell the wedding was replanned in 24 hours!! I am just so grateful that we somehow found Mersadi and Jay (I was literally looking up hashtags on Instagram) and I just wish I had more milestone events in my life so that I could work with them over and over again!!
