I’ve known Meg for years and was so excited for her to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. She’s an incredible person with the biggest heart, and extremely talented. She listened to my vision and made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day! I was very particular about using fake lashes in that I didn’t want them to be too dramatic but just enough to create a full, natural, beautiful look, and she gave me the best lashes I’ve ever had. I also had a specific vision for my hair and she nailed it. Her team did my girls, mom and mother in law’s hair and makeup as well and everyone looked amazing! I would highly recommend Meg and her team who have been in the business for years, are in the know on all the best beauty brands, styles and trends, and will make you feel incredible on your day.

Brikida from MG Hair & Makeup did my hair and makeup and my bridesmaids' hair for my wedding this fall, and we were all very happy with the results! Denise, who coordinated all the details, was a breeze to communicate with and responded nearly immediately to any questions I had. My makeup was pure magic - by far the best professional makeup application I've ever had. Only concern was that my updo was slightly different than what I asked for and some pieces did fall throughout the day, but it looked beautiful nonetheless. The company was pricier than the average for my wedding's area, but definitely worth the splurge to have my girls and I feel so pampered on my big day.

Rachel did a great job with my hair, she was always prompt and on time for our trials / the wedding and most importantly she is a good listener when we were talking through the styles I had in mind. We loved MG Hair & Makeup! Leading up to the big day, the scheduling and preparation was so easy thanks to Denise. She is thorough and quick to reply, providing some easiness during a hectic time! On the big day, my bridesmaids were all so happy with their hair and makeup. And I of course loved my own! Gianna did my bridal look but all of the artists (4 total for us) were professional, creative, SO talented, and prompt. The artists also had great energy on the morning of my big day which really added to the excitement and fun of the prep time. I am so happy that we booked their services and highly recommend them!!!

MG hair and make up was referred to me by a friend. I’m so glad I took her advice! Bella did my hair and make up along with my bridal party and needless to say everyone felt their absolute best and look beyond gorgeous. Meeting Bella at my make up trial was so easy and relaxing and she was absolutely wonderful. Denise was who I was in communications with about setting everything, getting the perfect schedule and making sure we had everything we needed for the big day. She was readily available by email and responded in record time. If I could have my make up done everyday I would never go anywhere else but MG hair and make up. Highly highly recommend!

I am SO happy I decided to use MG Hair & Makeup for my wedding this past June. Working with Denise to plan my trial run and the actual wedding day was a breeze, which I was so grateful for. Planning a wedding is stressful enough and everything was so easy with MG Hair & Make up. Then there was the wonderful Rachel who did my make up and hair. She knocked it out of the park!! She listened to everything I had to say about what I wanted and she worked hard to make sure I looked the way I wanted. I have never felt so beautiful. MG hair & Make up was the best! My hair and make up looked natural, elegant , and chic for my wedding at the Harvard Club. Exactly how I wanted it and beyond ! The photos looked stunning . Marvin was the artist who worked with me. He did amazing job! not only was acomodating with me, but able to bring the best results so I was the most beautiful bride . We loved loved LOVED having MG Hair & Makeup for our wedding! We booked hair and makeup services for my 6 bridesmaids and makeup for me, my mom, grandma, and MIL (who had her own stylist come to do our hair). I had my makeup done by Rachel, and we met a few months before the wedding for a trial. During the trial, she was so professional, friendly, and thorough--we looked at a few inspiration photos that I liked and she talked through exactly what was behind the photos and what the steps would be to creating that look. She was very flexible and we tried a couple of different things before settling on one that I loved. Before the wedding, Denise coordinated everything and was extremely responsive and on top of things. On the wedding day, we had Rachel and two other stylists for 3.5 hours. Everybody looked astoundingly beautiful--my bridesmaids joked that they would never look this good again. The stylists listened to what they wanted and executed with perfection, and everybody was so happy and excited during the whole day. I am so happy with how I and everybody else looked! Highly recommend!

I cannot praise MG any more. I spoke to quite a few vendors about hair and makeup in the process of wedding planning - Denise was the easiest, most responsive, most detailed and most straightforward of anyone and made the choice to go with MG a no brainer. Michelle and her team confirmed this choice and then some. They were professional: on time, ready to go, and willing to work with mine and my bridal parties different styles and requests. They were fun and flexible and didn't try to sell us on anything we didn't want. Most importantly, they made myself and my bridesmaids look like US - glammed up, but natural and glowing. Throughout the evening, my bridesmaids and guests gushed about how they'd never seen a bridal party that looked so great and flawless without being overly made up. I am so happy to have had Michelle and team there on my wedding day!

I'm very happy I worked with MG Hair & Makeup for my October 2018 wedding. Rachel and her assistant came to my apartment and did hair/makeup for me, the MOH, MOB and 4 friends. Rachel understood what I was looking for during my trial and recreated it perfectly on my wedding day. I also changed my hair from trial to day-of and Rachel was so calm and helped me create the exact look I wanted just a few hours before the wedding. Rachel and everyone I worked with at MG were just wonderful. All of our makeup looked so natural and fresh.

I used MG Hair and makeup for myself and my bridesmaids, we couldn't be happier! Denise was very kind and informative via email, and our artist Rachel was excellent!! She is incredibly sweet, takes the time to get to know you and your style, and does a fabulous job on both makeup and hair.

MG Hair & Makeup requires payment in full at time of signing contracts, which was not the norm that I was used to by any means. (I have been in many wedding parties over the years & this was never, ever the case).. I was’t very happy with my hair and makeup, neither were a few of my bridesmaids. For the amount that was paid, I expected much more & truly wish I had gone with another company for my wedding day.

I cannot express enough how happy I was with MG Hair & Beauty! Denise made scheduling everything so easy and straightforward. Rachel did my makeup (and my mom's makeup) for my wedding and she did such a fantastic job. Throughout the entire process of the makeup trial and the services the day of the wedding, she was so professional, knowledgeable, kind, and really made sure that I was comfortable and happy with the makeup application. I was going for more of a natural makeup look - and Rachel knocked it out of the park!! Honestly the best I have ever looked in my entire life - which is exactly what you want on the day of your wedding! I cannot recommend MG Hair & Beauty and Rachel enough!!

I was over the moon with the service I received from MG Hair & Makeup. The artist arrived promptly and I was so pleased with both my hair and makeup - the artist really listened to me and captured the look that I wanted perfectly. In addition, she was super friendly which also helps. Would highly recommend MG Hair and Makeup.

My mom and I had our hair and makeup done by Cinthya for my wedding last month and we couldn't be happier with how it turned out! We loved Cinthya from the day we met her at the trial -- she is so sweet and talented, and was very receptive to our thoughts and concerns. She was also very professional and had us ready right on schedule on the day of the wedding --no small feat! Our hair and makeup was flawless - she is a perfectionist - and it stayed flawless all night, even with lots and lots of dancing. It was also very easy to work with MG - they were extremely responsive from day one. MG was recommended to me by a family friend and I am happy to recommend MG to anyone!

I'm very happy I worked with MG for my wedding day. Coordinating everything from the beginning to the end with Denise was very easy; she answered emails immediately and I felt very taken care of throughout the entire process. I had the pleasure of working with MG's artist Gianna & I'm very lucky to have gotten her to be my girl for the day. She showed up to my trial early & ready to go. Both my mom & I had her do our hair and make up and we both felt gorgeous at the end of it and a nice plus was that she's just a doll- so of course, she was our girl! She gave me skin care advice, long lasting lip stick/stain suggestions & we emailed back and forth leading up to the day and she was more than happy to answer any skin/makeup/hair questions I had. She's very knowledgable & took time to write out thoughtful responses to my questions, which I really appreciated. The day of was so relaxing having her by my side. She knew exactly the look I was going for & executed it perfectly, also telling me how beautiful she thought I was all day & I know that added a ton of smiles to my photographs and video! She was my cheerleader :) I added extra hours for touch ups because I knew I'd be crying a lot throughout the day haha, but I barely needed any touch ups because the final product at the beginning of the day was so solid! Having her there for my special day felt like having another friend getting ready with us. Also (this is not about hair or make up) but right before the ceremony, we realized I had no one to fluff out my train before walking down the aisle and without even hesitating, Gianna said, "I'll do it!" So not only is she a super talented hair and make up artist, but she's a great team player and jumped into a position that she absolutely was not obligated to jump into. Artist Vanessa was the 2nd artist we had working on my bridal party and she also did a fabulous job, making everyone look beautiful. All of my girls felt beautiful and that absolutely radiated throughout their smiles. I will definitely be working with Gianna in the future whenever I need to feel like a princess again and if you can get her for your big day- do it!! You will be very very happy with your results :)

I loved working with Martina from MG Hair and Makeup!! We only had makeup handled by MG, but it was fantastic. I really struggled to find a MUA that had affordable for my bridesmaids, and MG was perfect. Martina did such a beautiful job on me and all of my bridesmaids and was so friendly, she really made the day more fun!

I waited until the last minute to book hair and make-up for my August 2018 wedding. I reached out to several vendors, and MG was by far the most responsive and reasonably priced. I was a little nervous because they wouldn't show me Julia's portfolio before I booked. But the 4-hour trial run was very helpful. On the day of the wedding, Julia was a ROCK STAR. She stayed on schedule, stayed focused, listened to everyone's wishes and concerns, and delivered. I was SO HAPPY with my hair and make-up. Everything stayed in place and perfect until the end of the night. Thank you, JULIA!

Definitely recommend! Before the trial, communication was prompt and Denise answered any and all questions I had and was super responsive during and up to day of my wedding! My hair/make-up stylist was Alicia and she was super patient and relaxed. I didn't know exactly what I wanted, but the trial went smoothly and we had decided on a look that I loved. Day of the wedding, I decided I wanted a different hairstyle than what we had tried at the trial and Alicia did an INCREDIBLE job with giving me a look I wanted that I didn't know how to put into words. Especially given I have very thin/thinning hair, I looked really good and she did wonders! The make-up team was perfect and all the bridesmaids and my mother-in-law looked fantastic and I cannot thank you ladies enough!

My bridal party and I had the best experience with the team from MG Hair and Makeup. Rebecca, Stella and Michelle were all awesome and gave everyone looks they loved. Also, Denise who coordinated everything was amazing to work with! So responsive and accommodating. I could not have asked for a better hair and makeup experience for my wedding! Love MG!

I used MG for my hair & make-up as well as for the bridal party hair. My stylist did a great job and gave me some good advice at my trial in relation to getting clip-in extensions (so worth it!). Everyone's hair lasted (which is saying a lot for August outdoor wedding) and still looked great even after hours on the dance floor. The only reason I don't give 5 stars is that my stylist was not the friendliest person to work with. When I wasn't entirely happy with how my make-up ended up day-of, she seemed annoyed to have to try and fix it and didn't seem to care whether I liked the look or not (I did the trial but the make-up day of was heavier than she did at my trial). In general she was sullen and not excited, which was in contrast to the general vibe in the morning, which my entire bridal party noted (the getting ready portion is so exciting with so much anticipation as other brides and maids/MOH can likely attest to!). I think MG does beautiful work and has many different stylists but this was my individual experience.

MG Hair and Makeup exceeded my wildest expectations! From the start, Denise was responsive and informative, ready to answer any questions or concerns I had. She set up my trial run with Talia, who was incredibly kind and patient. Leading up to the wedding, I was sent a detailed breakdown for hair and makeup for each girl, along with specific instructions on how to prepare for that morning. It was really important to me that I still looked like me on my wedding day, just an enhanced version. I also have pretty short hair, so I knew working with that was going to be a challenge. My pre-wedding consultation with Talia went well, but she BLEW me away on my wedding day. She showed up on time (really important for an already anxious bride) and was on schedule down to the minute the whole time. I let each of my bridesmaids do what they wanted for hair and makeup, and Talia was careful to listen to each them and make sure they were happy with the outcome, which was really important to me. When my turn came along, Talia mentioned that my hair had grown some since our consultation and that we could probably do something extra with it. AND DID SHE. My hair turned out better than I could have ever imagined. I had it colored shortly before the wedding, and the way she styled it mixed the light/dark pieces and gave the updo amazing depth. My makeup was also exactly how I wanted it. I was concerned about my hair and makeup staying in place through a humid June day full of pictures, an outdoor ceremony and heavy dancing, but I had nothing to worry about. My hair never budged and my makeup still looked great in pictures from later on in the evening. Not only did Talia do an amazing job with everyone, but she was also just really great to have around that morning. She made me feel at ease and comfortable, and it was like having one of the girls around while we got ready. I absolutely recommend MG Hair and Makeup. You won’t be disappointed!

My initial encounter with Denise was incredibly pleasant. She shared a lot of information with me on the variety of packages available (# of stylists vs. # of hours, add-ons, etc.). She continued to remain in constant communication with me. She also organized a timeline based on the girls’ responses to their hair and skin types. She was an absolute pleasure to work with! Denise set me up with Rachel for my trial. I’m not a makeup person and Rachel walked me through each step of what she was doing, why she was doing it, and how I could recreate a similar look. For someone that knows almost nothing about makeup, this was incredibly helpful. She spent over three hours doing my trial to make sure everything was what I wanted, which exceeded my expectations of a trial. In the end, I chose MG because of how kind and warm Rachel was (as well as her styling abilities!) and the ease of working with Denise. Also, the fee for my trial counted towards my total hair and makeup bill – which was a nice perk! On the day of the wedding, Allie and Destinee helped with hair and makeup for my seven bridesmaids while Rachel did hair and makeup for the mother of the groom, my mother, and me. Everyone had very different hair/skin types, as well as some allergies, conditions, etc. Rachel, Allie, and Destinee paid special attention to my girls’ requests (e.g. covering cystic acne or skin conditions). In the end, everyone’s hair and makeup looked incredible! They all got exactly what they wanted – which is exactly what I wanted! My makeup stayed intact throughout the entire day/night, despite July’s extreme temperatures and humidity! My hair did come a bit loose throughout the night (I’ll blame the veil!), but it didn’t look like a huge mess (almost like it was supposed to be that way!). Overall, my girls and I had a great experience with MG Hair & Makeup. Would highly recommend them to all NYC brides!

Julia and Cynthia came to get us ready for my wedding! They were sweet, hard-working and amazing at what they do! They listened to everyone’s needs and adjusted anything we needed. Rachel took care of my bridesmaids and again nailed it. Everyone was so happy. The girls were both very professional and sweet, adding to a fun morning getting ready for our big day. Would definitely recommend.

I cannot say enough great thinks about Nikolette! Not only did everyone’s hair look gorgeous (I especially LOVED mine), she truly went above and beyond in every way to help. I had Nikolette stay until after the ceremony (and I am SO thankful I did because we had the WINDIEST May day ever, so we desperately needed touch ups), and she was incredible - fixing my hair between shoots, holding and adjusting my train, running back to the suite to grab my bouquet, holding any jacket or accessories during photos. She never sat down, and at every beak was touching up my hair and my bridesmaid's hair in between photos, before the ceremony, after the ceremony. One of the reasons I booked Nikolette was because of her sweet and calm personality, as I knew she'd be a great energy to have on the day, but we went above and beyond any expectations. Everyone could not stop talking about how amazing she was!!! Truly recommend!

Aylin was incredible. Not only is she an absolute doll of a person, but she's a machine. She stayed on schedule and did hair and makeup for me, my mom, my mother and law and sister. She really listened to what we wanted, but was realistic about what was possible. She nailed it every time. Her work is beautiful and I could not have been happier with the result. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect! My bridesmaids looked natural and radiant. The artists were kind and so talented. Nikolette made me look beyond what I could ever have imagined. I can't recommend MG Hair and Makeup highly enough. Denise from MG was extremely easy to coordinate with in scheduling makeup appointments for my engagement photos, bridal shower, makeup trial, and of course the actual wedding day. She was always quick to respond and flexible when issues came up (e.g., we had to reschedule our engagement photos twice). Talia was my makeup artist for the wedding day and my engagement photos - she did makeup for myself, my mom, and 7 bridesmaids, as well as hair for 3 of the bridesmaids. Everyone looked STUNNING and naturally beautiful - Talia totally got what everyone was looking for and made it happen. We also had a fairly tight schedule with so many people getting ready, and she kept everything running right on time. On top of that, she was a sweetheart and a pleasure to have around on the wedding day. If I need professional makeup for any events in the future, I wouldn't think twice about booking with MG again - they are amazing.

Working with MG Hair + Makeup on my wedding day was one of the best decisions I made! I reached out very early on for makeup and hair for myself, my mother + mother-in-law and three bridesmaids. Denise immediately followed up and scheduled not one – but two trials to be sure that I was completely happy with my wedding day looks. We worked together to create a timeline the accommodated everyone, allowed for enough time and made it so we weren’t up at the crack of dawn. When I was unsure about extensions and an additional artist being necessary, she quickly set up a call to speak with Megan – the founder – who talked me through everything (without upselling or pressuring) and made me feel completely at ease with my decisions. Incredible customer service! My artist – Rachel – was absolutely terrific. She was incredibly sweet and listened to all of my concerns. She made me super comfortable and it was easy to discuss looks with her, what I liked, adjustments to make, etc. I wound up being 5 months pregnant at the time of my wedding and was VERY self-conscious about my hair and skin which were much more fussy than they had been in my trials. Rachel made me look and – most importantly – feel amazing. In fact, this was my number one stressor leading up to my wedding. I was completely shocked at the transformation and instantly felt so comfortable. Nothing too dramatic, just an improved version – addressing all of my concerns and problem areas we discussed. She finished my whole party on time (I actually think it was early!) and everyone looked stunning. She and MG Hair + Makeup were fabulous and I couldn’t recommend them more highly!

I could not have imagined a smoother process booking hair and makeup for all my bridesmaids and mother of the bride! Alicia with MG Hair and Makeup was a SAINT and so patient and helpful during trials. We did two of them and each time I had feedback for her and she ran with it and day of NAILED all the wedding party looks. She did hair and makeup for 6 ladies and was completely on schedule and everyone ended up happy! As the bride I worried about my makeup because I've had bad experiences in the past but Alicia and MG achieved the exact look I wanted! It was not overdone but just right. Book immediately! Pricing is very reasonable for the level of talent you get, too!

We used Julia and were very happy with her talent and professional. I showed her a few photos of what I was looking for and she was able to bring it to life. I'm not someone who regularly wears makeup and was somewhat fearful of wearing too much makeup on my wedding day but Julia made me feel elegant and classy with just the right amount of makeup. She was early, did a fabulous job with the hair and makeup for my sister and mother and she didn't leave until everyone was happy with how they looked. She was also open to changes and suggestions to make us happy. I definitely recommend her and would use her again.

The two artists who did my and my bridal party's hair and and make up were amazingly talented - they listened to everyone's preferences attentively and the end results were breathtaking. There is a paid trial first at a location of your preference, after which you can decide whether you'd like to go with the artist or not. The staff is responsive and accommodating to your needs. Highly recommend!

Would highly recommend. MG offered a variety of hair and makeup options which were reasonably priced. I chose a package that provided hair and makeup services for 5 people plus the bride as well as a hair and makeup trial. Nikolette came to my home for the trial which was super convenient. I provided picture samples of each hair and makeup and she mirrored them perfectly. She then took pictures to use for the big day. The day of the wedding she was exceptional! She stuck to the timeline in providing hair and makeup for everyone in the package and still had time to touch everyone up just as we had to leave and we all looked beautiful. I tried out MG for makeup about three times before pulling the plug and allowing my deposit to be dissolved. The company gets three stars for being professional, on-time, and accommodating. However their artists (or at least the ones I was sent) are average at best. Every time I had a trial done the outcome was on par with how I am capable of doing my makeup on the day-to-day. One artist didn't even attempt to fill in or shape my eyebrows and when I asked if she could she said she didn't really have the right tools but would on my wedding day, eyebrows are a huge part of framing the face what makeup artist doesn't have eyebrow tools? Also while talking to one of the artist she had only been doing makeup for two years but the website leads you to believe all their artist are top notch, experienced, and specially trained. While I am sure they rightfully earned all the awards their websites boast that is not who is getting sent to your home for your wedding. Those artists are reserved for events, celebrities etc. For a $100 more than this company wanted I was able to hire a true celebrity artist who works out of Montauk/ The Hamptons providing all of the Makeup to the highly acclaimed Gurneys Hotel as well as the surrounding vacationing celebrity's. At first it was harder to find her being that she is a small operation with out the advertising department that MG has but she blew the skills of the MG artists out of the water, research is worth a lot for such an important aspect of your wedding.

MG Hair and Makeup did such a wonderful job on my wedding and my bridal party. I had a trial in April with Rebecca and she did a lovely job of listening to my wishes and staying so professional. On the day of, Val and Rebecca did hair and makeup for me, the bridal party and both mothers. They worked so hard to listen to everyone's wishes and really made everyone feel so special. Denise was also so helpful and professional, she made me feel confident going into the wedding. Definitely would recommend!

MG Hair and Makeup was great to work with. My small October wedding in NYC didn't have a bridal party and MG was one of the few places who would do early morning on-site one person hair/makeup for a reasonable price. Denise made it easy to schedule everything, and Nikolette was very sweet and did a great job for the trial and day of. I have long, curly hair, and she made my hair look great. Everything held up great for the whole day.

My HMU artist for both my engagement photos and wedding day was Martina (Level 3), who I adored. Martina was professional, punctual, and knowledgable. She was so friendly and easy going and made the whole process fun. I decided leading up to the wedding to change what we decided at the trial, but I wasn't worried about it because I wholly trusted Martina. (I initially thought I wanted glam but decided I wanted something more between glam and natural.) She knocked it out of the park and executed my new concept flawlessly, and she made my mom look like a babe to boot. For both my engagement photos and wedding day, she provided little samples for touching up, which was incredibly helpful. I entered the process not knowing which artist to ask for because it seems all the artists with MG Hair and Makeup are great, but I cannot recommend Martina enough!

From start to finish I had a great experience with MG. Before my trial and my wedding, Denise emailed with me extensively to make sure I would get exactly what I wanted. Allie did my hair and make up and my mother’s make up and she did a really fantastic job on both of us. She was so wonderful, I couldn’t have been happier!
