ave honestly never seen people flock to a dance floor so quickly and then continue dancing ALL NIGHT LONG! This band is so good that when the lights turned on at the end of the night, over 80% of the guests were still there, and everyone was at a loss for what to do next. No one wanted music to stop! Thank you, Micahel Beer's Band, for giving us a better reception than we could have ever hoped, wished or dreamed!

I could listen to him at another wedding. He was so personable and helpful with not only music requests but also order of events during the reception. The band took the time, last minute, to learn a request for our first dance and they absolutely killed it, bringing me to tears. They kept the party going the whole night, had my husband get up on stage to sing, help me make announcements and made everybody feel like part of the party! The best wedding advice I could give is to hire this band as soon as you know your wedding date!

The thing I love about The Michael Beers Band is that guests of every age can enjoy themselves. We had many elderly people at our wedding who were able to sit in their chairs and clap along. I loved to see that they were enjoying themselves even though they were unable to dance. The band is expensive, however it is fully worth it! They were the highlight of our reception! I had many out of town guests comment on how this was best wedding band they had ever heard! I highly recommend them!!!

rofessional, fun, extremely easy to work with, flexible and knowledgable about weddings! He accomodated everything we asked for and made us feel confident that the whole evening was going to be a blast. Michael played the piano during our cocktail hour, which was fabulous, and then the band played for FIVE HOURS at the reception. The dance floor was packed all night with people of all ages!!! We had SO many friends tell us "this was the most fun I have EVER had at a wedding! It was even better than my OWN wedding" and all of the credit must go to Michael and the band. They had the perfect set list lined up, he MC'd the night to keep everything flowing and made it so we didn't have to think about a single thing. We cannot wait to go to another wedding with Michael Beers Band because it was THE MOST FUN!! Thanks so much to Michael and the band for making our night unforgettable!!!

THE MICHAEL BEERS BAND! We booked them 18months prior to our wedding and that was the BEST decision we ever made!! Michael was amazing to work with. He responded to my hundreds of emails within minutes!!! He was so easy to work with and willing to do anything we wanted! He kept our wedding night flowing smoothly! We have never seen so many people on the dance floor! Our wedding guests are still raving about our wedding and how much fun they had! Even after the wedding was over -people were still dancing - we had to kick people out : ) We had an amazing night - I couldn't have imagined a more perfect wedding!! They are a little more expensive than a DJ, but TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY!!

At the end of the night, some guests felt rumbles from an earthquake based in Oklahoma, but I could swear it started in the Crystal Ballroom at the Eldridge in Lawrence. They also played dinner music for us, which was lovely and not overpowering. They are such a FUN band and will make your wedding a true celebration. We got tons and tons of compliments from our guests. If you want a live band, you MUST have the Michael Beers Band.

They played everything from "That's Amore" by Dean Martin for a special dance with my grandparents and then they ended with "Dynamite" by Taio Cruz and just knocked it out of the park! All of our guests were thrilled-- we even had someone tell us that they wanted to host a party, just so that they could hire the Michael Beers Band! Wow! I'll be honest, they are expensive. But they are WORTH IT. 100% worth it! If it's important to you that there's energy and great dancing, then this is your band! WORTH EVERY PENNY! :)
