He was able to read the crowd, played all the right music and even ran out to the dance floor to keep people pumped up and dancing. We had such an amazing time and my guests are still giving me feedback about how we chose the best DJ they had ever seen at a wedding!! He set up the most beautiful lighting to light up our yard once the sun set and it made the evening even more magical than I ever could have imagined.

Leading up to the wedding his communication was great, we spoke on the phone as well as through email multiple times, his responses were prompt and he answered all of my (many) questions in the friendliest manor. He even incorporated a few songs, my husbands cousin wrote/recorded and a song my dad recorded from a bar band over 30 years ago, and he took the challenge on like it was no big deal, making me feel at ease and they were played perfectly at the wedding! He helped us with recommendations for the reception music/ recent trends as well as created a day of planning sheet for us to fill out that made the process so easy! On wedding day it was like having a good friend be our DJ, Seth is SO friendly, outgoing and can keep the party going, he is a perfect DJ! As for our DJ, DJ Keith has such a confident, laid-back attitude that really calmed our pre-wedding nerves. From our first consultation with him, I could tell that he loves what he does and wants to provide the best experience possible. He went through our info sheets with us line-by-line to make sure he clearly understood what we wanted and showed up hours early the day of the wedding to make sure his equipment set-up went smoothly. As a DJ, he totally knocked it out of the park! We gave him some pretty broad genres to work with, and he picked great songs with no awkward transitions. tive kind and caring personality. You can tell he absolutely loves his work and this translates very well. He was so helpful and was able to create the perfect wedding atmosphere. There is no doubt in my mind our wedding would not have been as perfect with out him. One of the best parts about having Seth as your DJ is he creates an organized plan of events and runs with it very well. His organizational skills and his ability to read the crowd make him a top notch DJ. Me and much of our family had trouble walking the next day after all the dancing. Even my aunt who had an orthopedic boot on her foot was out on the dance floor.
Other services he offers is uplighting which I would highly recommend to anyone looking for that extra touch on their special event. I was blown away by how amazing the lights were. You could tell a lot of thought was put into light placement giving the room a perfect ambiance. The lights really tied everything together making for an absolutely perfect wedding.
I could go on and on but the point is if you are considering hiring a DJ for an event do yourself a favor and hire Seth Michaels you wont regret it.

He was open to our ideas (including playing our favorite 1940's and 50's songs at dinner), but also helped select a mix of old and new music that made the evening a dance party for all generations (even the groom's grandparents!). What set Seth apart initially from other DJs we considered was that he wanted to help create a great experience for us, but he didn't need to be the center of attention to do that. DJ doesn’t communicate with your photographers when they are about to begin an event, it doesn’t allow the photographer enough time to set up for the best shots. Seth made sure to always let me know about 5-10 minutes before we were set to do something. Seth also was very understanding if we needed to switch something up in the timeline to help the flow. He knew exactly what songs to play to keep the crowd going and what songs would reach to the age spectrums in the crowd best. It is evident that he is passionate about his career, this isn’t just a “gig” to him. I highly recommend Seth!
