usband got my engagement ring from Michaels, (from what he told me) he walked in and told the rep what he was looking for and what he could afford and she pointed out several different rings but had him pretty much "build" the ring. Choosing the type of metal, the clarity, cut and all. He picked the perfect ring and I absolutely love it. We went back to Michaels of course to pick out our wedding bands. They recognized my husband as soon as we walked in and were so thrilled to see I came in with him and to see the ring actually on my hand. We picked out the band that matched my engagement ring and then picked out a simple but very nice mens wedding band. It has a slight edging on the side of it and all of our bands/rings are white gold. The staff at Michaels is always so happy to see you when you come in and they are always willing to help and give you advice on whatever jewelry questions/ideas you have. We have to go back soon to get our bands cleaned being we had them on while on our honeymoon and I know they'll look as good as new, they always do!

y found the stone and built the setting based off a bunch of pictures I showed them. For someone who knows very little of this topic, Michaels educated me on the different aspects of the ring from the quality of the stone to the different styles of settings and what would best showcase the diamond. The best part -- there was no pressure and I know I got the best bet for my money.

probably 3x our budget, which she never asked us about. A manager stepped in when he saw we were about to leave. He helped us to figure out a solution that fit our budget, but we still wanted to look other places. No other stores in the area could compete in terms of quality and price, so we ended up going back and getting the bands here. They look great, and we are very happy with them.

nges. The women who work there are the nicest people on earth! Rose is my favorite. ;) She is like another mother whenever I walk in there. They greet you and make you feel very welcome. They spend time with you and your browsing and like to get to know you a little bit better so that they can find you that perfect piece! It's not a bad drive to get there... so I highly recommend the ride! It'll be worth your while.
