for our wedding at the Royal Oak Farmers market to DJ and provide a photo booth with high expectations after reading all the positive reviews on multiple wedding sites and Google. I must say, it was the tale of two opposites as we were really happy and impressed with the photo booth as everything was great and the images that they provide are very high resolution, however the DJ was not on point unfortunately. The DJ (Will) was a very nice guy and showed up on time which is most important however our expectations of a DJ was to provide our guests with good flowing music all night long and this was a big issue. It seems that Will played a majority of his music from YouTube, which I know is true because when he called the day before the wedding to review our instructions he advised that our intro song which I had requested to start at a specific time didn't properly match so I needed to view the YouTube video and get back to him. I'd expect any professional DJ to have the proper software and song selections that their client request, and by using YouTube the flow of the music was awful! Many times of the night there were dead periods as the songs didn't transition/mix into each other. Additionally, the DJ's computer shutdown for 10 minutes so during the peak part of the wedding the dance floor was completely stopped! I reached out to the office manager Sara to discuss and she advised that the owner would give me a call to discuss about the situation, however I never heard from anyone. I even emailed Sara again to let her know that I never received any contact however this was left unanswered as well. As a customer who has 12 family/friends getting married in 2018 and looking for DJ/Photo booth recommendations this is very disappointing.

He even made sure we had a sound system for our ceremony, which was supposed to be provided by our venue, and Jamie saw it was missing and immediately set his up for us. He set up extra uplighting to really make our reception hall look amazing. His wife did an amazing job organizing the photo booth and helping everyone with getting their pictures, which we got a full file of all the pictures the next day! This company is truely special and make you feel as though you are family. They will take care of you on your wedding day! Highly highly recommend!

he photo booth. Although they set it up properly, and it functioned as expected, the attendant that we were told would be ushering people through the process was not present for most of the night. He spent most of the night talking with the DJ at the DJ table. Some of our guests were a little hesitant to use the photo booth, and his presence would’ve been appreciated to make our guests feel welcome.

Michigan Event Services also gave me some leads on vendors for other clients I had while we met. This is a start of a long relationship. I recommend them to not only event planners, but anyone who needs the services they offer. They are veteran owned and I want to thank them for their service.

e DJ, wedding cake, cupcakes, and some consulting/planning. We were looking for other vendors and decorations to complete the wedding weekend/reception fun. They helped us with so much and they are reasonably priced for what they offer. I would have expected to pay 3 times what we did. All around great company and friendly owners and staff. Call them if you have an event, I promise you will love them like we do.

d us to put a Do Not Play list together so we did not offend the kids and family members who were there to celebrate. The photo booth layout was amazing as well. They took our invitation and matched the design. They also stayed 30 minutes after to allow us to get pictures with grandparents and other family. They no doubt were part of making our day memorable and fun.

had high expectations. Not only did Michigan Event Services meet these expectations, but they went beyond, even staying late due to schedule getting pushed. I recommend them to anyone holding an event that need professionals.

for a cupcake wedding cake. We wanted something different and the guests liked the cupcakes instead of traditional cake. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a company that will go above and beyond for the clients. My husband has a stack of their cards in his car since he was so impressed.
