Martha was wonderful to work with. She made the cake exactly how I envisioned it and delivered it with no problem whatsoever. The cake tasted like heaven as well! (White chocolate cake, pistachio filling, and buttercream frosting)
The deserts were fantastic. I heard the bourbon pecan pie was to die for. Our pistachio cake was amazing. We did cupcakes, pies and a cut cake for ourselves. My only complaint was the apple pie filling seemed a little overcooked.
Stopped by Mimi's shop the other day after work and omg!!! I am so happy i did! Its independently owned and you can really taste the love Mimi pours in her pastries.

First of all we did a cake tasting with Mimi's and after the tasting we chose to select her services. At the tasting we provided her with a picture of how we wanted our cake customized and she said she was able to customize our cake the way we...
wanted it. On the day of our wedding when we seen the end results of the cake we were very disappointed. First, the cake was totally different from what we asked for. Secondly, our cake was six layers and we only three layers of the cake that we agreed upon, the other three was not what we agreed to. Lastly, the cake did not taste like it was fresh. Mimi's totally MISREPRESENTED her services. For future couples and individuals please BE AWARE of MIMI'S. I tried to resolve the matter with Mimi's before posting any negative comments only to be unsuccessful. If you do decide to go with Mimi's please make sure you get what you paid for and ask to see a picture of the end result or visit her to see the end result before that special day.

The cake this couple ordered was a 6 tier stair step cake. Then they wanted 2 layers per tier, a theater design backdrop, tons of sugar flowers, bling ribbon and at the last minute calls and wants to rent the cake stand.
They said the cake was...
n't fresh, but, ALL my cakes are made within 24 hours of the event. Always fresh! Never frozen! The only thing that was different was there were chocolate pieces in the rum cake.
Plus they never paid me for the cake stand rental and after speaking with the sister of the bride
, I told her that was more than adequate compensation for the one mistake in the rum cake tier. I felt the issue was resolved.
Vendors be ware of brides constantly changing their minds!
