Minister Elden Ford

Elden was the best minister for our wedding journey. We interviewed quite a few and while they were all nice, most of them planned to show up day of, lead the ceremony, and leave. We wanted our officiant to be someone who didn’t feel like a complete stranger during one of the most important moments of our lives. Elden did a video call with us for the consult, he sent us organized documents to fill out about our relationship so he could get to know us better and write the speech based on us, he sent us a list of readings and asked our preferences for the ceremony flow. Everything was as hands on as you wanted it to be and we could tell Elden was invested in our wedding day and marriage- not just showing up for the check. He also gave great tips for the marriage license and made sure we had it in hand rehearsal night. He worked well with our coordinator and DJ and made everything as seamless as possible for us. He also showed up for the rehearsal and stayed longer to practice after our coordinator had left. It was so sweet, he timed my music to make sure I felt comfortable walking down the aisle - the part I was most nervous about! After the wedding he sent keepsakes and checked in to make sure we had received our marriage certificate. Overall, this was one of the best decisions we could make on such an important day. We’re so thankful for Elden and the energy he put into the start of our marriage.

Eldon was amazing! He helped us coordinate our ceremony at the rehearsal which was so great! We didn't have a wedding ceremony coordinator, so this relieved a lot of stress! We are so pleased to have had him a part of our big day. Highly recommend booking him!

After finding Elden on the Knot I could tell right away he was going to be a great fit for our wedding! He was responsive from the very first day to the very last. He made sure to follow up during the in between months and check in often! When it came time for our ceremony he spoke with such care and professionalism. We received several compliments from family and friends about the ceremony and the words spoken by Elden. I can’t recommend him enough!

Elden was a pleasure to work with. He truly wanted our day to be about us. This was self evident in the fact that he had questionaires for both of us to get to know our story in order to tailor our ceremony to be really personal. He captured the esseance of each and everything we wanted, making sure to include our daughter, which meant a lot to both of us. Elden is an officiant who can deliver across any number of backgrounds, beliefs, and indviduality. We couldn't be happier with how our ceremony went and the beautiful words Elden spoke on our day!

Elden was nothing but wonderful! Our ceremony was absolutely perfect! My husband and I were married on May 13, 2023, and Elden made our ceremony feel so unique to us as a couple. He made sure to include the Bible verses we had requested, kept the stories and reflections relevant to us, and still managed to make us, our wedding party, and our guests laugh at the best times. By the end of it all, he felt like a friend, and it was an honor for us to have him act as our officiant.

I highly recommend Elden for your wedding ceremony! He was great to work with—very responsive, kind, open, thoughtful, and worked hard to personalize the ceremony to us as a couple. I really appreciated that. He even wanted to make sure he dressed in a way that he didn’t clash with the groom’s outfit!

Elden was awesome to work with. He responded very quickly and made everything easy on our big day. He got along with everyone in the wedding party, and he also helped us with changing names after the ceremony.

Minister Elden Ford was absolutely amazing officiating our wedding. He was very involved with the brides “itinerary” and helping everything go as planned. My husband and I had no idea who would officiate our wedding since we are not religious and couldn’t decide on a friend or family member we could ask to take up this task. So, we found Elden on the Knot and had him recommended by our Day of Coordinator. He was super! We met with him over zoom to get acquainted and filled out a questionnaire he crafted to make sure the ceremony would be personalized. He sent us his script a few days before and made any changes we asked for. Additionally, when we explained we aren’t religious, he was more than happy to accommodate. He even made a point that he was not going to force faith onto anyone, and we truly appreciated that. He was fun and professional during the rehearsal and wedding. It was great working with him!

Elden was fantastic; funny, thoughtful, a great guy and we recommend him for anyone!

We liked Elden from the start, we’re both very introverted, and he made us feel very comfortable. He was very kind and made a lot of jokes that made the rehearsal go smoothly, and he was wonderful on our big day! He also moves to the side for your big kiss which doesn’t sound like too big of a deal, but a lot of ministers, priests, rabbis, and so on, don’t move and it’s really nice for picture time! I would definitely recommend Elden for anyone getting married in the Kentuckiana/Louisville area!! ❤️

Minister Ford was amazing! He was very understanding of what we wanted in a ceremony and was able to make sure our ceremony fit our needs. My husband and I aren’t overly religious and he was able to make our ceremony fit exactly for us with some tradition without being overly religious. He was on time, dress appropriately without clashing with the grooms men, and was always wearing a smile. He even filed our marriage license for us and dropped it in our mailbox during our honeymoon. I can’t say enough how great he was - you will be more than happy if you choose to go with him. Side note: his rates are really affordable and he works with you to make sure payment isn’t the most important thing overall. So happy we chose him! So

Elden was really helpful through this whole process. He had no complaints with me stitching together several of his example pages for the ceremony. He was very well spoken during the ceremony and vey patient when we were running behind. He made the process of filing paperwork so simple and I never had to work about anything.

Elden was amazing! He kept us updated on what to expect and walked us through the steps for writing vows and the ceremony. He checked in with us consistently to answer any questions and was always quick to respond. He gave our ceremony humor, which was appreciated when I said "I do" before he was done speaking. He made sure that what was said was everything we wanted and accommodated any suggestions we had. I highly recommend him to anyone getting married in the Kentuckiana area!

Minister Eldon Ford did an amazing job! He summed up our relationship perfectly. He was always early, and was very good at getting back with me when I had questions. Overall very easy to work with and does an awesome job.

Elden helped make our special day exactly that and so much more. He helped take stress off of my husband and I and those in the wedding. We had such a great experience working with Minister Ford! We had a virtual meeting prior to our wedding day and he was so thorough going through the entire ceremony, making sure everything would flow well and fit what my husband and I had envisioned for our wedding. He arrived early for our rehearsal, made sure everything was ready to go with our wedding coordinator and our DJ, and really put my mind at ease that the day of would go off without a hitch! Our ceremony felt so personal and like we were getting married by a friend. I can’t recommend him highly enough!

Minister Ford is absolutely wonderful! He gave us such a beautiful ceremony. We had a roadblock and Minister Ford met with us on such a short time constrain and still delivered a heartfelt ceremony. He does his very best to make sure that the couple's wishes are met!

Minister Elden F. was the person we chose for our marriage a few days ago. From the first moment we contacted him he was very kind, he answered all our questions and explained the process and the steps to follow. He was very patient and the day of the ceremony was very punctual, he looked very elegant and made this moment something very special with his words and at the same time it was very funny and made us laugh which made us less nervous. Plus, he bring the necessary documents and he take them too where they need to be delivered. He is the right person for that special moment!

Elden is very personable and well spoken! He made a point to get to know mine and my husbands story before the wedding day. He has beautifully written scripts and can personalize your ceremony to your liking. He also will take care of filing your marriage license for you after your ceremony so less for you to worry about after your big day!

Minister Ford did a fantastic job with our ceremony! We wanted a short, sweet, and meaningful ceremony and he made it happen. He captured the things that were meaningful to us in his speech even though he only met us once before the rehearsal. He also understands the little things that make a huge difference during the wedding day - like when to hold the microphone for the bride so she can wipe her eyes to see her vows (thank you) and when to step to the side out of a camera shot. He made the process extremely easy - sending us reminders to bring the marriage certificate to the rehearsal dinner and took care of filing everything for us after the ceremony. Would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.

We had the best experience with Minister Elden Ford. He was impeccable! He took the time to get to know both my fiancé and I, which made our ceremony so personal and individualized. It was a great pleasure working with Minister Ford. He was punctual, calm, and was there for us the entire way with any questions we had with nearly instant response times. We opted for a less traditional ceremony and Elden worked with us to ensure our needs were met and we were comfortable through the entire ceremony. Very thoughtful and considerate. Elden was fantastic for our wedding and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a friendly and personable officiant that will work with you to make your wedding ceremony perfect! We had a couple of meetings with Elden before our big day, and he got to know us as a couple to make our ceremony a tailored fit and exactly what we wanted. He also included some personal details in a creative manner so that we knew the ceremony he was delivering was for us and nobody else. Our ceremony was what I would consider standard, but nonetheless Elden guided us through our options for different variations of ceremonies to make sure we ended up exactly with what we wanted, even if we didn’t know what we wanted to begin with. Elden gives you confidence as a professional and comfort as a friend and I would recommend him to anyone getting married.

Elden went above and beyond to make sure the ceremony was personalized for me and my wife. Even dropping in a heartfelt analogy about me and my wife’s shared love for the “occasional” cup of coffee. He made it a point to make me feel comfortable and relaxed before the ceremony. We would definitely recommend Elden to anyone!

Elden was AMAZING! He made us feel so relaxed during our vows. We had to hire him last minute and he still made sure to know our love story, know what was important to us. He was exactly what we wanted and needed. He was quick (it was outside and about 88 degrees) but also said everything that needed to be said. EVERYONE made sure to comment on how great the ceremony was and its all thanks Elden!

Elden officiated our wedding last weekend and he did such an amazing job! He met separately with me and my fiance before the wedding to learn more about our relationship. The questions he asked were then used to make our ceremony personal and meaningful. He even used a quote from my favorite book to close out the ceremony. I have already recommended him to a friend that will also be using him in the fall!
