|| ABOUT || Hello! I’m Natalie, a Seattle based wedding & portrait photographer with a heart for people and storytelling. I started taking pictures early on in life and used my cameras like one might use a diary. Throughout my adolescent years in Hawai'i, I collected film cameras, made weekly trips to the lab, and developed a deep love of analogue documentation. I fell into weddings when my dad remarried and asked me to be his photographer, and after being a firsthand witness to the journey that became a new beginning in marriage, I found myself on the search for ways to make love stories tangible. I moved to New York City to refine my skillset and took a detour into fashion before receiving my BFA from NYU and diving into the wedding world full time in Seattle. Alongside the honor that is preserving a person's memories on film, I also discovered the fortuitous blessing of relational connection in walking with people as they enter new chapters of life. My approach as a photographer is first human before it is anything else — embracing every component and character that makes a story unique and yours. I am drawn to unexpected moments and to the flurry of emotions that are part & parcel of these milestones. My highest aim in what I do with a camera is to tell the truth in a beautiful way. I believe that photographs should serve as reminders of joy, meaning, & commitment, to inspire thanksgiving and to tell your story to those who come after you about where they come from. I specialize in lifestyle portraiture, elopements, & weddings locally in Washington, and frequently work in Hawai'i and NYC. ior. Every step of the way Natalie was flexible, understanding, and supportive! We felt she listened to our wishes -- a somewhat nontraditional and very small ceremony in a greenhouse -- and delivered more than we could have ever asked for. Natalie was a dream to work with day of, providing helpful direction on how to organize around photography while at the same time being completely unobtrusive. While we would have been happy with a handful of great images, Natalie delivered more than we could have dreamed up and beautifully captured our wedding party, but also highlighted the venue itself, something that was very important to us. We're so grateful that Natalie was a part of our day and couldn't recommend her more!

ortion of the budget. We were so very wrong on all counts. Every time I look through both our engagement shoot, and our wedding, I get teary. She has managed to capture the very essense of us, our emotions, our personalities and all of the special moments that made up the day. In the end we asked everyone to put away their phones and let Natalie and her amazing co-pilot husband Conor, do their work. Which they did beautifully. Natalie is an NYU trained photographer - her photographs are a mixture of fine art, portrait and breathtaking scenic shots. There's no WAY you can capture the heart of a day without a professional, and even some of those don't manage to get it right. Natalie does it all with a laugh, a smile, and an ability to make everyone feel at ease. Nearly every one of our guests commented on how much they liked our photographer - she made them feel at ease and was never intrusive or rude, like many photographers can be to guests. On this point, it was also important to us that we got shots of everyone having fun at the wedding - we didn't want to end up with 800 photos of just the two of us, like so many portfolio wedding albums we saw. Natalie and Conor made sure that they covered everything - we have photos of all of our loved ones enjoying themselves. We love it! Finally, in terms of support, Natalie is incredibly responsive, able to work to both a time-line and a direction, and her edits are speedy and beautiful. We made a life-long friend in Natalie and know that we will be hiring her again to capture all of life's most important moments. We cannot thank, or recommend her enough. ks for itself, but her attention to detail coupled with how easy she is to work with made the entire process actually enjoyable. We knew we were in good hands from the start when we first reached out to her with questions and she was extremely responsive and thorough with her responses. The first time we met with her months before the wedding to share ideas and get to know her, we left that meeting knowing we had made the right choice and were in good hands. Throughout the lead up to our big day, we kept in contact and it was very reassuring to be on the same page with her for our vision and timeline. Day of they arrived on time and got all the shots we were hoping for and then some. I think going in to the wedding we weren't planning to order a photo book from her, but in the end we decided to go for it and Natalie did not disappoint. She endured all of our editing requests and the finished product was perfect! To sum it all up, our wedding was a dream come true and all of our vendors were great, but if we had to choose the vendor who went above and beyond our expectations and provided the best overall service, we would have to say it was Mist of Morning Photography. and when! I felt at ease knowing she would capture every moment that was special. I think the best thing about her was her helpfulness in non-photography aspects. I remember starving during the wedding and being unable to grab some food and she noticed and ran to grab me a big plate of food (while snapping some sweet photos)! Her care for us as the client went beyond her role as the photographer as she kept us grounded and in the moment, taking our wedding worries away. Killer photos meant they did take a while to get back from her though, but they were worth it!

And considering we met them for the first time on the wedding day, they felt so familiar and comfortable like longtime friends. On the day of, Natalie and Conor were perfect. They kept me and the groom lighthearted and at ease. taking our engagement photos. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which is typically not true. It was a joy to learn Natalie's story and we were so grateful for her sweet personality. Natalie was made for wedding photography! She was never stressed and is happy beyond belief to celebrate love stories! What stood out to us most about Mist of Morning Photography was the attention to details, Natalie captured everything we could have asked for and more. The schedule got a bit mixed up due to others involved the day of the wedding and Natalie was flexible and kept busy with other shooting while she waited for us to get back on schedule. Our family and guests gave us so many compliments about "the sweet photographer" and we are so grateful we chose Natalie. The only thing that was even a hint of a bummer was it did take an extra week than what was stated to receive our photos back. But compared to everything else, as well as the quality of the photos we received it hardly even mattered. We were just excited of course :) I would (and have already) recommend everyone I know to use Mist of Morning Photography. She is true excellence with the greatest heart for people and their unique stories.

intimate outdoor wedding quite well with amazing attention to detail, beautiful use of light, and a great amount emotional candid shots. I was more interested in the photos preserving the feelings of that day, rather than making everything look "perfect", and I strongly believe Mist of Morning was the best choice for that! I would 100% recommend Mist of Morning to everyone.

She was always open to photo ideas, combinations of people we wanted to shoot, specific settings, and always took the time to straighten up suits, make sure we were standing the right way, and capturing the right light and angles. ould be a perfect fit for the style of photography we wanted. I knew it was a long shot, but I emailed them only two days before we wanted to shoot and thankfully, they were able to squeeze us in last minute. Natalie responded to my email within a couple hours, and I was surprised by how responsive she was throughout the whole process. Natalie and Conor are friendly, personable, and passionate about what they do, which made the whole shoot easy and so much fun! Our pictures are STUNNING, and we are so glad we were able to work with Natalie and Conor for our shoot. I highly recommend Mist of Morning! They're the best!!
