Mistique was able to duplicate it perfectly. They also encouraged us to try different styles to make sure we liked our choice. That was great because we picked two different hair styles: one for rehearsal dinner and one for wedding. Our make looked natural not over done with too much makeup like other places. We received numerous compliments. The salon was professional, courteous, and really listened to what we wanted. I highly recommend! We will definitely use them again.

n Austin, but I didn’t have my trial with Jaqueline so that made me panic and start looking for other makeup artists. Of course everyone was booked that close to my wedding. I did have a free makeup trial with Jacqueline, but that was the Monday before my Saturday wedding which is not what you want to be worried about so close to your wedding.
My mother and MIL also were trying to contact Suzie to get their own trials and could never get a hold of her.
Jacqueline also texted me a few days after my wedding to say she had accidentally barged me for airbrushing and reimbursed me.
It was a very stressful experience and very unprofessional. Save yourself the risk and go with another company.

I had originally did your trial for you, then you weren’t happy with the airbrush makeup. I offered to redo it with traditional makeup and I didn’t charge you. Then when my first bride’s wedding changed to an earlier time. I called you to let explain what had happened. I let you know that I explained how I did your makeup to Jacqueline. You asked for a new trial with Jacqueline and you were satisfied.
Your Bridal Consultant then called to say you were still upset over the whole situation and how can I make it even better. I offered not to charge you a travel fee and you were than happy with that. So total we comped you $300.
I had gotten with your mother in law who wanted her makeup done at the salon and I let her know I couldn’t accommodate her at the salon as we were already booked with your wedding as well as another. I let her know we could do her makeup at your house but she didn’t want that.
Jacqueline said you were very happy with your makeup on your wedding day.
We strive to make sure our brides are taken care of either by myself or by Jacqueline.

at was supposed to be fun and relaxed. After the fact, I have now heard many people who had the same experience with her. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for makeup.

n 2.5 hours. We let you know that with the extra artists we could make the 2.5 hour time frame you had wanted. You needed to be dressed and ready by 4. We strive to get everyone done so that there is no rush. A lot of your bridal party did not want to get their hair and makeup done at noon as the contract and verbal agreement had stated. So this unfortunately was causing you stress because we had a duty to get everyone done in a short period of time per your request. I stepped in and asked for everyone to please let us get started as this was your day and we needed them to help us keep you calm. I asked your sisters for their help as well and was given no help. I am sorry if you feel by making the decision to insist on 6 people to sit in our chairs that this was rude. You were wanting your makeup done at 4 and I explained that you needed to be fully ready by 4. I spoke to to you softly to calm you down and you even thanked me for taking charge and moving the process along. I have done many weddings where ladies want to be last because they feel their makeup won't last. Traditional makeup that you wear from the becoming of the day till the end of work day lasts most women. We did Airbrush makeup and that lasts all day all night with touch up on your lips only. I do not know of any people who feel they have had the same experience as you had. I pride myself in being professional, kind and soothing to everyone. I saw your photo's from the wedding and everyone looked beautiful. I will make a note to update contracts going forward when time changes occur and to explain that we are there for a specific time period and not all day unless requested. I will also ask my future brides to please let their bridal parties know when we start, everyone needs to be flexible and jump in an open chair knowing towards the end if we need to fix something we will. , stuck to schedule, cleaned up quickly, and made sure we knew how to keep our makeup looking good all night (although with airbrush, you don't have to do much!!). I love how our faces looked all day, from being outside in natural light to take photos, to being inside the church (which has terrible yellow lighting) and, later, on the dance floor under the photographer's flash! It even stood up to tears during the ceremony and speeches. We looked natural but glamorous, and the makeup really stayed in place ALL evening. I'd definitely recommend Suzie to any bride looking for a makeup pro in the San Antonio area!

People have commented on how natural her tans look on me and she personally does the spraying so you have full coverage as much as you want. t I wanted Suzie was able to achieve perfection. Suzie was so patient and understanding with me as I tried to figure out what I really wanted. She was able to do the makeup for my bridal party and arrange for all of us to have our hair done in that salon as well. It's been 2 weeks since the wedding and I don't have any of my professional pictures yet, but the ones that friends and family took are fantastic so I'm sure I will be pleased. My suggestion is to come prepared with several pictures of what you like, and a picture of yourself in every day makeup that you like. That will give her a better idea of what your norm is, your style and what you really want. She offers water based air brush as well as silicon airbrushing and traditional makeup. I have very sensitive skin that doesn't like new products and didn't have any issues with her products during the trials and my wedding day. I did however make the mistake of getting to the hotel really late, and knowing I was getting up in a few hours to go to the airport I didn't take the makeup off. It was still pretty decent nearly 24 hours after she applied it, but my face apparently didn't like that I hadn't washed it in over 24 hours so I broke out into a rash (mostly around my eyes) at the beginning of our honeymoon. Make sure no matter how tired you are that you scrub it off that night! Suzie is great for any event that you want/need professional makeup for, I highly recommend her.
