ModJamz was great! Before the wedding there was plenty of communication on what we wanted and didn't want played, which they stuck to. We had fairly complicated wishes for our ceremony music, but they rolled with it, and helped send the wedding party down the aisle to help make it happen. Throughout the night they were great MCs and helped keep the night moving along, and kept everyone out on the dance floor.
The photobooth was such a great addition! They had someone there making sure it was working, and taking care of the props which made everything run so smooth!
We found Mod Jamz at an open house at our venue. I liked that they had a lot of forms and a good line of communication to really get a good idea of what we wanted. I felt like the forms didn't end up mattering though. They got a completely wrong impression from them and we ended up emailing back and forth til we got a good playlist. I loved that we got to see the playlist beforehand and approve music and genre, etc. They showed up on time, have a great sound and lighting system, etc. However, during the ceremony, they ended up looping the song that was just meant for me and not the bridal party (didn't test how long we needed music for beforehand) and during the reception, since my husband and I don't really dance (we had yard games instead), they went off on a 70's/80's direction (we had requested 60's/country/top 40). I do appreciate that the people who wanted to dance were happy but I'd have liked to see them stick to the playlist/theme we'd created. My favorite song that I specifically requested never got played. Also every time they used our names it was very hesitant like they weren't sure and had to look at a paper to remember. There were also some microphone issues at the beginning of the reception. Ultimately, it was a great price and it didn't ruin the wedding, no one will remember the hiccups but me haha, but it wasn't the best it could've been.
