brought my 18 month old nephew to dress fittings and even let me come try my dress on the day it came in even though I couldn’t come in until just minutes before they closed. And the alterations! My dress was very intricate - covered in lace with a fitted corset top. I lost quite a bit of weight between the time we order the dress and when it came in. The top was huge but after she took it in, it was perfectly fitted to my body. I’m also very short but I desperately wanted to keep the scalloping at the bottom. She had to remove all of the lace, hem the dress, and then sew the lace back on. I couldn’t even tell it was different at all! The bustle was absolutely perfect too. I had a great experience and I hope that you add Modern Brides as your first stop when dress hunting. You won’t regret it!

many of the bridal party members were from out of town and unable to go to the store. They were great about calling each person when it was time for a fitting or payment. Alterations can be done in the store and are adjusted as much as necessary. I would recommended getting all your wedding attire from Modern Brides!

ure, because the dress I was set on buying was the first dress I tried on! So the consultant listened to me carefully about my vision of what my wedding would be. After trying on a few dresses that just didn't seem to fit, she said hold on I have a dress in the back that was a showstopper at market, just have an open mind. She brought out this magnificent champagne gold tulle ball gown by Enzoani! She had listened to my vision of a "Royal Christmas" wedding with purple and gold as my colors. It was completely different than everything I had tried on. I was shocked by the color, but I tried it on! The rest is history. I received so many compliments on that gown! My photographer said there's beautiful gowns then there's exquisite gowns like these! The best part is I paid about $1500.00 less than what I would have paid on that other gown! Thank you Modern Brides!! I highly recommend working with their attentive staff!

gether! The owner of the shop did my second fitting and personally fixed and pressed the dress. It turned out PERFECT!!! Ask for her to do your work if you have a choice, it was worth it.

up here and there. Also, when I went for my final fitting, they had completely forgotten to do a few things. The alterations weren't great. I had to have my bridesmaids do touchups on the embellishments the day of the wedding. That was after a bridesmaid had to take the dress to the shop to have it steamed. They claimed to have steamed it but everyone freaked out when they saw it the morning of the wedding. Thankfully I missed that drama. Then the bustle... It did not hold up. It had fallen out before I finished dancing. I would not use them again.
