ce is amazing. I don’t even feel right calling it “customer service” - I was really made to feel like a friend more than a customer. The designer herself was there for my appointment, and she and my mom had a great time while we all sipped champagne. The entire process - from my first time going there to the final fitting - was so easy and fun. And most importantly - the dress was SO gorgeous. I still can’t get over it, and months later I’m still getting compliments. And it had pockets! I really couldn’t recommend Modern Trousseau more.

ped me find my style that worked best for me and was so patient! And the best part, I was there by accident, which after we found my dress I knew it was meant to be! That morning I was headed to my appointment with a bridal shop in the area, but accidentally put Modern Trousseau in the GPS, and called them to say I was going to be late to my "appointment", and ofcourse she didn't have record of it, but was so willing to come in and open the shop for me thinking maybe there was some electronic error. When I finally got there I realized my mistake, but it ended up being a happy one!! And Samantha was so gracious to help me even through it all! I highly recommend this place!

She even arranged a special appointment for me to come back after I bought my dress to show my step mom. She's the best!

She is the most professional, knowledgeable and patient bridal consultant I have worked with! Secondly, the dresses are just STUNNING. I have been to multiple shops where I couldn't even find 1 dress I liked.. here I found multiple within just a few minutes. And of course lastly, the actual store is beautiful. Great location right in downtown New Haven with lots of natural light! Absolutely add this shop to your list when you're looking for a wedding gown - trust me you will not regret it!!

on we were able to mix and match our favorite parts of two dresses to create the perfect unique combo. In addition to being fun and special to get to customize the dress, it meant we didn't have to go to multiple stores to try a bunch of dresses which was awesome!

This store gave me the opportunity to design my own dress which is just such an awesome concept!!! owns are simply exquisite, and completely customizable to suit your taste/style. During my appointment, I was warmly greeted by Hayley who was genuine, knowledgeable and professional. My crew and I were the only ones in the store and got the individual attention that every bride deserves. The gown I chose will be handcrafted to my specifications at the Woodbridge Atelier with the designer herself. How incredible is that?! I can't thank Hayley enough for her patience and most importantly her guidance. After going to almost every store in Connecticut I can honestly say that Modern Trousseau surpassed my expectations and was the absolute best.

She arranged for the dress I thought I wanted to be on-hand for my appointment, and then patiently helped me try on maybe 10 others--- and answered all the questions my mom, my SIL, or I could throw at her--- before we put on that dress, and knew it was the one. And Hayley went above and beyond. My one hesitation was that I had planned to go dress shopping in NYC with my aunt who was flying in from CA, and I felt bad buying it and making her trip here pointless. The dress is apparently touring around to the different Modern Trousseau locations, but Hayley arranged for the dress to be sent to the NYC store -- on the particular weekend I needed -- so that I could try on the dress with my aunt when she comes to NYC. She didn't have to do that, but it means so much to me that she made that happen. The whole process so far has been perfect. Thank you, Hayley!

I HIGHLY recommend this place for wedding gowns. Everything is timeless and classic and is made with love from the greatest quality. The lace is to die for and you can genuinely tell that the dresses are made from such good fabrics.
