't kept her. Fabie had a difficult time seeing my vision (she likes big statement pieces and I wanted more romantic and not over the top). Fabie was also very slow to reply to emails and other messages. Fabie was doing wedding planning as a second job for most of our planning time, so maybe she's more responsive now that this is her full time job. She always pointed out that "I wish all my brides were as organized as you". I shouldn't be more organized than my wedding planner. I hired her to organize for me. The day of my wedding, she texted me in the AM saying that she didn't have enough of the napkin rings that I had wanted, so she brought a more expensive version instead. (I had picked these napkin rings in March, 7 months before my wedding, plenty of time to tell me there wasn't enough) At first I thought it would be okay, until right before it was time for me to walk out, and she sent me a picture of the most hideous napkin rings i've ever seen - commence full blown panic attack. (Yes, I do have a history of anxiety, but my wedding planner should be keeping me calm and not sending me into full blown panic mode). I had also asked for a glass door to be covered with a drape so my guests wouldn't be able to see into the ballroom until it was time for them to enter, this glass door was not covered at my wedding. I ended up having an amazing wedding anyways thanks to my very professional photographers and DJ for keeping things flowing in a timely manner. Also, I used wedding wire to find most of my vendors, we were not impressed with anyone that she recommended to us. Thankfully (as she noted), I am extremely organized and was able to stay on top of everything on my own. I should of been my own wedding planner, apparently.
