Ms. Young’s Counseling and Officiant Services is run by Minister Rachel A. Young-Turner, a wedding officiant based in Baton Rouge, LA. Minister Young-Turner fulfills many roles. She is a wedding officiant, a provisionally licensed professional counselor, a public speaker, and an avid mental health advocate with a true passion for love, authenticity, and helping others. Each of these principles takes center stage with all couples. Ms. Young began her journey in wedding officiating when she herself was planning her wedding. She found it difficult to find a wedding officiant who wasn’t a traditional pastor and decided to fill that gap for other couples in Baton Rouge and beyond. From the moment she became officially ordained, she has been helping couples of all kinds unite and exchange vows amongst their closest family and friends. Each wedding is unique, and for this reason, Ms. Young will work with you to customize your wedding. Her focus is creating a ceremony that reflects you and your partner authentically; she can be as hands-on or hands-off as you wish. Ms. Young offers various kinds of ceremonies, including religious, non-religious, and elopement ceremonies. Vow renewals are also part of her work. Minister Young-Turner welcomes working with all kinds of couples, no matter their religious background, gender expression, or ethnicity. Allow Ms. Young to bring a fun, infectious vibe to your wedding ceremony.
