We met with our DJ about a month before and went over song choices, styles, etc and were pleased. However - the day of the reception things went a little weird. First (and biggest problem) is he introduced me, the bride, by the wrong name! Tw...ice! The sound was a little off and it was hard to hear him announce dinner, etc. The music he started playing for dancing was okay, but not great, and I found out after the reception that my guests were actually writing down playlists for him because he didn't know what to play to get people to dance. Also, at one point during dinner the music started skipping and he was nowhere to be found, so my bridesmaids actually had to go up and change the song.
I am not giving a lower rating because I have heard from others that he is generally not so off, the cost wasn't horrible and he is a nice guy and did get better as the night went on (maybe because people were feeding him songs??)
