Tricia is so talented! Although she's not very well known, her work speaks for itself.
I was very open to her taking creative freedom with the arrangements and bouquets, and with her talent - I recommend doing the same!
I basically gave her ...a color scheme and a "no" list for flowers I definitely didn't want.. and she pulled up pictures of some things she was thinking about using - as soon as I gave her the okay, she went for it!
Mine and the bridesmaids bouquets were literally the most beatiful bouquets I've ever seen in any wedding I've been to. STUNNING. And she gave us tips on how to keep them fresh looking throughout the wear and tear of the day.
The centerpieces.. omg the centerpieces. They were so amazing I couldn't even have pictured that they would turn out so well. They were whimsical and unique - with a flowing shape and almost enchanted feel.. without being too princess-y. I opted to alternate between short and tall arrangements to save money, so it ended up being 6 tall and 8 short, using the bridesmaid bouqets in lieu of additional arrangements on on the head tables.
Tricia will advise you on things she has found work and don't work - her honesty is refreshing... at the same time she'll take as much direction as you want to give her. I just opted to allow creative freedom and I'm glad I did.
