The First Look
Home of the National Orange Show Citrus Fair, the National Orange Show Event Center in the Inland Empire, California, hosts events of all types and sizes throughout the year. The full-service venue has a team of caterers, event planners, florists and decorators to create weddings custom tailored to each couple. The National Orange Show Event Center is on 120 acres, including eight event centers to choose from, a lush lagoon and a sports center with a quarter-mile speedway and wagering center.
Orange Pavilion. This gigantic clear span building has a stage and truss system for event lighting. There are permanent concession stands and dressing rooms in the Orange Pavilion. This space seats up to 1,500 guests for dinner.
Backstretch is a 260-seat amphitheater located within the National Orange Show's Gaming Center. Couples can use the stage area for the exchange of vows or the wedding band. Backstretch has a separate bar where guests can have cocktails and three large screens where couples can screen whatever they wish.
Citrus Building. The huge clear span space of the Citrus Building has arched ceilings reminiscent of an airplane hangar. Couples can divide the space in any way they can imagine and seat up to 1,500 guests. The Citrus Building has a professional stage and is located close to the Lagoon.
Lagoon. The beautiful outdoor venue is on the banks of the lagoon. About 1,500 guests can sit in the 4,500-square-foot area. Couples can exchange vows with a backdrop of fountains and have their receptions under the trees.
Damus is the largest building at the National Orange Show, having the capacity for up to 1,800 seated guests. The large space is often used for car shows, exhibits and auctions.
The Dome is just what it sounds like: a large domed space. The high rounded ceilings and circular space make for an offbeat, memorable setting for up to 700 seated guests.
L'Orange is one of the National Orange Show's more intimate spaces with seating for up to 150 guests. Windows on two sides of the room look out onto the Lagoon. The space has an outdoor patio and couples can use it in conjunction with the Renaissance Room.
Renaissance Room can seat up to 600 guests for dinner. The venue is close to the Lagoon and has dressing rooms and a ceiling with hundreds of lights.
The Valencia has a main ballroom with banquet seating for up to 600 guests and two breakout ballrooms that can seat up to 200 guests. Couples can use breakout rooms for ceremonies and cocktails, saving the reception for the main ballroom. The Valencia has a stage area and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling.
What You Should Know
The National Orange Show Event Center is a large place and more than one event may occur on the day of the wedding. The National Orange Show often hosts large community events that take over much of the grounds. Couples should check that their wedding date doesn't fall during the same time as some of the annual festivals held at the grounds.
The National Orange Show's in-house team provides the catering. The caterers provide tables and chairs, linens, dishware, flatware and glassware.
Couples must have liability insurance. Security is available.
