Miki was the best teacher we could’ve asked for! My wife and I had 0 dancing experience and a very specific vision for our first dance. Miki was able to craft such a beautiful, elegant, and easy to learn routine for us and we are so appreciative for her patience. She broke down our lessons into 5 very easy-to-digest pieces which allowed us to improve and modify our routine to our liking each time. She was very accommodating with her schedule and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking to dazzle their guests with an unforgettable first dance routine!

We had such a great experience! Miki listened to us and helped work out the perfect dance for us as a couple. Having never taken dance lessons before we were not sure what to expect. But we had a lot of fun and feel ready for our big day!

Our first dance was absolutely incredible, and we owe it all to Miki! As two people who aren’t exactly natural dancers, we were initially nervous about how it would turn out. From the very first lesson, Miki made us feel comfortable and at ease. Her patience and understanding were remarkable; she took the time to break down each move and help us find our rhythm.
Miki’s enthusiasm was infectious, and her expertise shone through as she guided us through the process. She tailored our lessons to suit our needs and even incorporated our personal style into the choreography. By the time we finally performed our first dance, we felt confident and looked like pros!
Thanks to Miki, what could have been a stressful experience turned into one of the highlights of our special day. We can’t thank her enough for her dedication and support—she truly made our first dance unforgettable!

We had so much fun in our dance lessons with Miki. My fiance and I needed all the help we could get to get ready for our first dance. Miki worked with us from the basics and helped to choreograph a beautiful dance that we were fully comfortable with. The best part is that we had so much fun doing it. We highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a little help to prep for the big day!

Miki is a skillful natural as a dance instructor. We collaborated with her to assist for a Rumba/Salsa combo for our wedding “1st dance” choreography. She challenged us, she humbled us, and she helped us to become better dancers together through the process. She finds a wonderful balance of detail-oriented and fun and light-hearted, and she was so eager to take our ideas to make them into a show-stopping performance for our loved ones at our wedding. We learned a great deal from her, and she made our big dance moment at our wedding unforgettable, by guiding us to reach our goals and even further than we thought we could reach. Thank you Miki! This review is long overdue. We hired Miki Jennings to choreograph a romantic waltz for our Spring wedding in 2013. It was the best decision we made! My husband is not a dancer and at the end of of lesson, he was able to do a simple lift and spin that our wedding guests continue to rave about years later. Miki is a dance professional with many years of experience! She is extremely patient, kind and is the best in her field! We highly recommend her services for anything dance related. Thank you Miki for the wonderful waltz you taught us! The wedding dance was one of our favorite highlights from our wedding! :)

With over 30 years of experience in the dance and fitness industry, I am a seasoned dance instructor and wedding dance choreographer based in San Diego, CA. Throughout my career, I have achieved significant milestones, including 1st place in Adagio at the California OpenCup and being a finalist at prestigious competitions such as Manhattan Dancesport and Embassy Ball.
