I’ve tried contacting Nathan via email and text to rectify this situation before writing a review, but his lack of response has left me no choice but to warn future brides or anyone seeking him out for tailoring. I initially sought Nathan out by recommendation of another seamstress who has amazing reviews but was unavailable. He had great reviews across multiple wedding websites and advertised work on high profile clients and other brides on his social media, but he delivered my dress with the following issues: the boning is falling out of the corset, the hem is uneven and is already fraying, the dress fabric was damaged where the bustle was installed, the bustle is very unappealing with a large plastic button, basting stitches were left in all along the sides and front of my bodice, the sleeves he created for me don't line up with the cat eyes on the top of the bodice, and he did not press or steam the dress. I included photos of the work I received, a photo of me in the dress on the day I picked it up, and my attempts to reach out to him via email and text to rectify the situation, which have gone ignored. The work I received does not feel up to par with his reviews, the images of his work shown on social media, or the recommendation he received from the seamstress who had stellar reviews. He charged $1,250 for this work. I requested a 50% refund considering how bad the dress turned out, but he has ignored all my attempts to contact him and has not responded to offer any kind of resolution. He had great reviews across multiple wedding websites and received the referral from a great seamstress, so I am very disappointed by this outcome. I would hate to see this happen to another bride. I feel very let down by him, so my recommendation is to find a bridal tailor who posts before and after shots of their work. I am so devastated to be going through this days before my wedding.
