• The Neidhammer offers convenience! We are just 5 minutes from downtown Indianapolis, offer free parking to all guests, have an elevator to all three floors, and provide our couples with a venue coordinator to ease their minds.
• The Neidhammer offers comfort! We want you to be a guest at your wedding, that’s why we clean up once the big day is over for you! There is no reason you should have to tear down your own wedding, that’s why we have staff! Our venue fits 150 guests (depending on the package you select), and our packages include a cash bar of cocktails and “mock”-tails for guests!
• The Neidhammer provides security, both mentally and physically! Uniformed guards are at every wedding over 50 guests to help cross the street and insure our guests’ safety! We have signage so that no guest will get confused on his or her way in! We also only host one wedding at a time, so you are our one and only priority!

So, we created the Neidhammer Wedding Package to alleviate stress on your wedding day! No physical or mental stress, and having your wedding for $8,000 or less helps with the financial stress the day can cause.
The Neidhammer Wedding Package provides you with a great foundation for an amazing wedding day! We’ll provide the venue, set up and tear down, ready rooms, a cash bar for up to 150 guests, and everything your DJ needs minus the playlist! You will have access to both the Washington Room and the Grand Hamilton Theater, and get to choose what floor to have your ceremony and reception, respectively. Weddings have never been so easy and customizable!
Your Neidhammer wedding will be comfortable, convenient, and safe for you and your guests. Stress free and full of fun, how every wedding should be. Ask about our upgrades if you’re interested in a champagne wall, open bar, live streaming services, or a coffee shop cocktail hour for your big day!

When we initially booked the venue, it was under the old management. The management that ended up taking over was extremely difficult to communicate with. The planning of our wedding was so unnecessarily stressful and we felt that the venue coordinator (Crystal) we were in contact with the whole time had a poor attitude whenever we presented a concern we had or asked a simple question. We were as patient as we could have been, we knew they had a lot on their plate and Crystal especially seemed like she was overwhelmed. However, it doesnt excuse the lack of basic customer service and communication we needed in planning our WEDDING. We had an amazing day of coordinator (that we hired ourselves) who was able to pick apart the contract we had and if it wasn't for her we would have been manipulated into paying more, without a doubt. A few times, we felt like we were being gaslighted. If we knew this was the management when we were looking at booking a venue, we never ever would have had our wedding here, the added anxiety was too much. From the bar menu being a mess 3 days before our wedding, to our day of coordinator having to be responsible for confirming with the caterer because Crystal never did, to the DJ not being who we picked (and being told we couldn't contact him or else or contract would be void). Thankfully our day of coordinator had a copy of our song lists because on our wedding day the DJ didn't have any of them (surprise, he never got them). I could go on.
Prior to our wedding day, I would have given 1 star. I increased to 3 stars because our wedding ended up being a beautiful and amazing day. Crystal came through as far as the bar and was able to get us what we asked for. The staff were super attentive and friendly the whole evening. The reception space was lovely and exceeded all my expectations. I heard great things from our guests. A few things went wrong, but that's to be expected, nothing major.
The Neidhammer itself is a truly unique and beautiful venue. Our wedding was great. However, before you book here, do your research, ask the questions, make sure you understand the contract, and read the recent reviews. I don't wish the frustrations we felt on anyone, planning a wedding is already hard.
Our reception here was amazing! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel confident that they would take care of everything to make our day what we wanted it to be. They helped put up some of our larger decorations, and even had some additional festive decorations already up (we got married around Christmas). We had multiple prep meetings with them, and they were fairly responsive when we had questions or needed anything. We got to go in and do a bar tasting with all sorts of drinks to figure out which ones we definitely wanted to have available. Also, the space is GORGEOUS! The stage on the third floor with its old plaster mural is magical, and it felt so special and cool. Ellie, Tressa, and John, thank you for helping us make our day so special!
Unprofessional and unreasonable, please stay away. They had a new event coordinator who made a huge mistake on my wedding day and management did not care and simply kept saying “no refunds”. Everything was set up on the WRONG floor and my family had to help move everything to try fix their errors. I rented an arch that my husband had to disassemble and reassemble due to it being on the wrong floor. My husband should not have had to do this, that’s what we paid for. But regardless their main focus is “no refunds” rather than trying to compensate my family for their labor and the mistakes they made. Several other issues as well, they had nothing but excuses. Please do NOT let this business ruin your wedding day.
My now husband and I both were introduced to Neidhammer about 3 years ago (separately) and each had the initial thought that someday, when we found the one, this would be the venue of our dreams... February 13, 2021 was that day... and the entire day and night was magical. This venue and their entire staff is amazing. As we've looked back on the memories and the photographs, there is not one thing we would change. We're still getting comments from our guests that this was one of the most beautiful weddings and venues that they've ever attended. We are so thrilled to have been able to have our dreams come true, much in part due to the love and care that the staff at Neidhammer took to make every single desire come to life. My only wish is that we could go back and relive this night over and over again.
We loved having our wedding at the Neidhammer. We were supposed to get married in June but due to COVID we rescheduled for August. The staff is so kind and friendly and really try to do everything they can to make your wedding special for you. The email communication with the staff was prompt, which is one of the most important parts of wedding planning to me. The space is BEAUTIFUL and really wows you and your guests. The Neidhammer holds a special place in our heart and we will reminisce on our wedding day there for the rest of our days. Great venue, great staff and really just a wonderful atmosphere and place to get married!
Classic, unique, and professional. The Neidhammer is a beautiful venue and one-of-a-kind in Indianapolis. We knew it was the choice for us as soon as we visited. The staff are professional, accommodating, and friendly. They make you feel like family and are incredibly easy to work with. Their policies on catering and vendors are helpful and made for the benefit of the client. John and Elli work to make your day the best it can possibly, and there are a variety of options in planning to suit any bride and groom. An added perk, you'll leave with incredibly stunning wedding photos, as the exposed brick and lighting are incomparable.
We can't recommend the Neidhammer enough. First of all, you won't find a more gorgeous place to get married, but it was so much more than that. Every step of the way, they were communicative, easy to work with, flexible, and totally invested in making our day fantastic. We used all the services they provide (in-house DJ and sound, bridal suite, bar, etc.) and were so glad we did. It made planning easier and more straightforward and made our wedding day fantastic.
This venue is absolutely beautiful, no need to add an special lighting or decor. The staff was very easy to work with and very responsive. I also heard from my guests that they were very nice and accommodating. So glad we chose The Neidhammer.
Where....do....I....Begin?! I looked all over for affordable venues that would capture the vision for our wedding day! Everyone was absolutely ridiculous in price. My bridesmaid told me about this venue. Said it was fairly new. I said I would go look. I took my aunt and walked in and the aroma of coffee won me over FIRST! They showed me the Theatre, Washington room, and I asked for the contract! I was dead set and even signed before my husband could see lol! Trust me, he was ok with it! The exposed brick and ever so unique light fixtures made my heart skip a beat! I was even in love with the bathrooms! The Bridal room! Oh my goodness! I love my ladies and I wanted to give them a beautiful atmosphere and make it fun for them just in case I had a case of Bridezilla (which I didn't an was absolutely calm) but you can tell in my pics that all my brides were excited and calm and gorgeous! The service! Impeccable! They helped set up, tear down, gave complimentary time to set up and jammed out on our wedding day! I loved our venue coordinator! She stayed in contact and answered all my silly questions! She also took a picture that made me cry ridiculously! This venue is beautiful beyond the building!
We absolutely loved getting married here. The staff was wonderful. They treated us like family. We hear over and over how it was such a beautiful venue (GREAT FOR PHOTOS). I would highly highly highly recommend this place. It was such a great experience from the first meeting to the wedding day. THANK YOU NEIDHAMMER. The Neidhammer was perfect for our NYE wedding. The Hamilton Theater is absolutely gorgeous with its high ceilings, exposed brick and amazing stage. Becca, the party coordinator, is an angel & will help you with anything you can think of to make your party perfect! We also used the bridal suite on the floor below the theater to get ready & it is a very picturesque/peaceful space to get ready for the big day. Their bar can serve only wine & beer. I highly recommend the Neidhammer!!!! We loved it!
