My first experiences were great. Before I went to New Beginnings, I went to another bridal store which the workers did not pay attention to you at all. Then, I went to New Beginnings and it was very quiet so they were able to have their attenti...on on me. They pulled dresses for me that I never would have chosen - including the dress I picked! Later, when I went for my second dress fitting, they called me just as I was parking at the store (10 minutes late) and told me that they did not see my name down so they did not have it done and wondered if I could come back later. I lived out of town, but luckily was able to stay later than expected. I did not get upset and was okay with this, but then they called me again late in the afternoon the day before my 3rd fitting and told me they had a lot to do and wondered if I could come on Monday rather than Saturday for my fitting because they needed all of Saturday to finish the beading. At first, I said it was fine, but then I thought about it and I wanted to be home for Father's day. I called them early the next morning after they opened and asked if there was any way they could get it done by later in the afternoon so that I could pick it up. They said they would try, but there was a lot of beading and if they got busy, they would not be able to. 30 minutes later they called and left a voice mail saying they were finished and I could come any time. I thought that was a little sketchy and wondered if they fixed the beading at all? Though it looked great and I could not tell if they didn't. We also got the tuxes through them and several of them did not fit right and the ringbearer got a size 9 shoe and size 11 shoe? Of course the 11 did not fit at all. This may be the fault of the company who we ordered the tuxes through, but it seems like they could have found this problem when they came in to get fitted. So, if you go through them - make sure you do your fittings far ahead of time, including tuxes. And call ahead of time reminding them of your fitting.
