We had the pleasure of working with Lisa for the last six months leading up to our wedding. Originally we weren't in the market for a wedding planner, and now we wish we had reached out to her sooner. The amount of professionalism and expertise that Lisa and her team brought to the table was invaluable. My husband and I had a vision of what we wanted our wedding to be; a vision that we thought we could create on our own. It was Lisa and the Nightingale Events team, however, that made it better than we could have ever imagined. Every connection Lisa offered, every meeting she put together, and every contract edit she suggested, only helped build exactly what we were looking for in a way we would have never achieved on our own. We always felt in the loop and a part of the process. Without her there we would have missed out on so much. With all of that in mind, the real magic of what Nightingale Events has to offer was evident the day of our wedding. It was the morning of October 20th, hours before our ceremony, that we met some of Lisa's team for the first time. Instantly, we felt like we had known them for the entire process. Lauren and Cindy were paramount to the success of our ceremony and reception, and we couldn't have asked for a better support system. Throughout the day, some unexpected surprises popped up, and without ever deviating from our original schedule, Lisa and her team found solutions to let our wedding events continue unhindered. My husband and I are in agreement that our wedding was the best day of our lives. The story of that day is one we love to share at any chance we get. We can honestly say, from the bottom of our hearts, that we have Lisa and the Nightingale Events team to thank for such a beautiful and memorable story. Their work, the memory of which still brings tears to my eyes as I type this, was unforgettable and we can't thank them enough.

with us at the Yacht Club in Guilford. There are always challenges going into a unique venue and Lisa and her team natigated with grace and ease. Lisa and her team are kind, courteous, and always there to make sure that everything is getting done with a smile. The team was excellent with their comminications. Her prices were very fair and she was upfront about what was going on budget wise that we needed to keep in mind in order to stay where we needed to be but not feel like we were sacrificing anything to make the day one-of-a-kind. I would recommend Lisa and Nightingale Events to anyone looking for an incredible luxury experience.

erson who made me feel completely at ease the entire month prior to my wedding - seriously I was completely stress free. I also loved the day of my wedding, I got out of the car and rubbed my dress in some dirt (classic), and her team had a shout wipe ready in 15 seconds and completely removed the stain before I walked down the aisle. They are truly the best!!

stressful (really next to impossible) for us to manage all the final arrangements and details with our vendors. From the moment we met Lisa, any hesitation we had went out the window. She is professional, well-organized, detail oriented, warm and friendly and if that isn't enough to set you at ease, she exudes a permanent sense of having everything under control and knowing just the right solution to your issue (because she does). As my husband put it "she harnesses the tornado without skipping a beat. And she is resolute". I got off every conference call with her feeling relieved and confident that everything was under control. For the most part our vendors were great and straight forward, but I knew that if I did have an issue with anyone Lisa would be on top of it and championing us so that things would go as we had hoped/requested. I trusted her implicitly to be looking out for our best interests and be a steward of what we had planned and asked for our day to be. On our wedding morning, people kept remarking that I was incredibly calm and I attribute that entirely to Lisa; my mantra every time someone around me got stressed was "Lisa won't let us mess up" and I believed that 100%. At the venue, she and her team were everywhere at once, taking care of things at lightening speed yet always appeared calm and as if they had the situation completely under control (because they very much did). No frazzled or stressed faces on them despite the fact that weddings involve a lot of moving parts, strong personalities and unpredictable curve balls. They guided us through everything with confident, experienced hands. When they weren't actively taking care of something, Lisa and her team were always hovering at a respectable distance and anytime I turned in their direction I could see them all get ready to spring into action. At the end of the night I turned to her and said "so is this goodbye?" because it was sad to think I wouldn't get to talk to her every week still! She is truly a gem. We had a great vendor team so out of curiosity I recently asked my husband if we got to only keep one of them and had no choice but to change out the rest who would he keep and without skipping a beat he said "Lisa. Hands down." She was invaluable, both for the success of our wedding day and our sanity in the final weeks running up to it. I cannot say enough positive things about her.

any and all questions I had about planning a wedding (since I was clueless!) and was there with a timeline at the rehearsal dinner and day of the wedding. Lauren and Kristin were also there the day-off and provided so much help as well. Kristin was able to bustle my dress flawlessly when members of my wedding party couldn't, and Lauren made beautiful signs for the wedding with her calligraphy skills. The whole day ran perfectly, and I was also guided to where I should be and when. The girls also helped me fix my hair and dress after I'd been outside for photos. I couldn't have done it without Nightingale and I highly recommend them :)

Lisa also holds a special place in my heart because I lost my mom three weeks prior to my wedding, and while all my attention shifted to that, she reached out to all the vendors requesting they give me space to process. In that time, I was able to be with my family and grieve without freaking out about wedding things. It was a lot, and I don't know that I could have done it without her. The mere fact that I didn't have to worry about anything the day of the wedding made it all worth it! She and her team took care of everything, even going back to the house to search for the place cards I forgot to give them, and this as I was getting ready to walk down the aisle! The only reason I knew about it was because they needed to know where to look for them. If there were any other glitches, I didn't know about it. I was able to enjoy my family and friends and have fun! My guests commented on how well she "worked" the wedding floor, keeping everything running smoothly. She was never out of my site and any request I had, she took care of it (even tracking down my shoes...). Lisa, thank you from the bottom of my heart for making a bot a challenging and beautiful, special day exciting and happy for us, and for our family.

I hired Lisa and her team for the "month of" coordination, but her time and expertise prior to the month of far exceeded my expectations. Once Lisa and I began having (what felt like daily) calls leading up to the big day, I instantly felt less stressed and knew my wedding was in good hands. I cannot thank Lisa and her team enough for understanding my concerns, paying attention to the details that she knew I would pay attention to, and her advice and coordination of my entire day. My wedding had 3 main locations, the hotel, the church, and our venue (Jonathan Edwards Winery!!), all about 30 minutes from one another. We had 6 shuttles that were moving all of our 150 guests from as far as 2 hours away coming from many different locations, and I did not have 1 worry in the world that everyone wasn't getting what they needed and going from point A to point B, on time, efficiently. I really cannot encourage you enough to hire Nightingale Events for your big day, you will not be disappointed and the only thing you will need to focus on that day is having the time of your life, which is so important given how fast it goes by!

t everything would go smoothly. We ended up choosing a beautiful outdoor venue by the water in mid-August, which also happened to be the hottest day of the summer! It was so nice to be able to spend time with our families and wedding party before our ceremony knowing that Lisa and her team were setting up and making sure every detail was in place. She helped us with some last-minute fixes and even added the thoughtful extra touches that made the day that much more special! We were so glad to have her there to guide us through our reception, she even coordinated with the baker to make us a brand new cake when the original cake melted! We highly recommend her to any couple planning their wedding. With Lisa’s help, our wedding was the success we dreamt it could be!

decision my husband and I made hiring LIsa. When we got to Connecticut she had everything organized and we were able to quickly nail down last minute details. If i needed anything she and her team were right there every step. It cut so much stress out of our day and we were really able to enjoy the day without worrying about the logistics and details that need to be taken care of. He spoke with Lisa first and was impressed enough to urge (dare I say, beg?!) me to talk with her myself. And from that day on, the levels of stress I had placed on us decreased, at exponential rates, until (seriously!) days after the wedding took place. Lisa is one of the most professional, attentive, hilarious, down-to-earth and kind persons we have ever worked with. It was hard for me to accept an outsider into my “bubble” of planning a very intimate celebration, but Lisa knew exactly what questions to ask and when to offer advice / guidance to make sure everything went the way we wanted it to. She understands what it takes to make your day “yours” and, along with her team, you, as her client, are guaranteed service beyond anything you have likely experienced before --- at least I know I can say this was the case for us! From the “month of coordination” to the event itself, Lisa and her team radiate their passion for this work and are truly respectful of every request along the way. Just to highlight a few moments to make this real, we – in particular, the bridal party and our families – were always treated like the ultimate VIPs, from working out how the center pieces would be assembled with our stationary vendor to having glasses of water and lip gloss at the ready to endure the long photography sessions. One of her team members even returned to the hotel we were staying at during our reception to retrieve something I had forgotten. And days after the wedding, after I realized I did not have copies of our ceremony program, Lisa promptly sent me the few she had grabbed. Lisa, Courtney and Kristen, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts, for all you contributed to the start of our married lives together!

I consider myself a very calm person, and when some wedding planning details weren't going as planned, just hearing the calm in Lisa's voice made all the difference. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her...and my husband would tell you the same thing! When you book Nightingale Events you will not be disappointed!

Consider your budget carefully and know that it is likely to be increased several times over if you are going about things yourself... a full wedding planning service may help you save as much as you spend on it. Everything from suggesting vendors that would best suit our needs, making sure every last wedding favor and centerpiece were laid out perfect, working out the details with the wedding venue, etc. To me, the most crucial part was organizing the logistics and operation of the wedding. Lisa along with her assistant took care of every last detail including arranging the transportation of the wedding parties, organizing the music playlist with the DJ and even picked up the wedding cake for us! Most importantly, she did this all while keeping everyone cool, calm & collected. (including my crazy family) As stressful as it is tying 1,000 pieces of a puzzle together, she never skipped a beat, nor let a single detail fall through the cracks. If you have any hesitations whatsoever deciding if Nightingale events is the right choice for you, then now is the time to let them go. I was against using a wedding planner at all in the beginning due to the added cost, though in the end, it was worth every penny and then some. Though her rates were higher than some other wedding planners out there, the quality of service, and flawless excecution definitely makes up for it in the end. Thank you so much for making our day as special as it was. We couldn't have done it without you!

As a bride that was very hands on in the planning process, Lisa easily caught up to speed, provided input as needed and was always there for guidance and assurance. Our wedding day was executed seamlessly and that is in large part due to Lisa's attention to detail and the hard work of her and her team. We would highly recommend Lisa for her wedding coordination services!!

g of the wedding she drove to my house in the morning to pick up alcohol and a car full of flowers to deliver to the reception venue. Lisa, with her team of 2 assistants, did a great job setting up our decorations exactly as we intended at our reception venue. Throughout the whole reception, she was always checking in, making sure things were going well, and happy to assist when anything needed to be changed or done. At the ceremony itself, she was very helpful directing a large bridal party, and was great at organizing multiple large family photos during the formal pictures. Additionally, on the Sunday after our wedding, she went out of her way to pick up and drop off some items left at the reception venue. We had contemplated not having a day of coordinator, and just doing everything ourselves, but hiring Lisa as a day of coordinator was one of the best decisions we made in our wedding planning. She really went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect, and go smoothly, and I would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a coordinator.
