After speaking with our food vendor, we budgeted a certain amount of food per person for the menu. Unfortunately, our calculations came up just a tad short. There was a couple tables that weren't able to eat from the entrees that the client selected. Fortunately, there is a restaruant that is located across the parking lot, and being a breakfast buffet, we were able to provide addtional food when the tables went through the line. We provided enough extra food for all the guests to go back through the line a second, and some, third time through. There were over 200 guests in the event so there was going to be some people finished before others went through the buffet line, especially with a breakfast menu, this is not uncommon with buffets of that size. We also held ourselves accountable for the mishap, and we gave the client a full refund for the few guests that didn't get some of the orginally requested dishes, (on top of feeding them). We do own our own sound system and projector, the only thing we rent is the screen, as we are currently looking to purchase a new one. We take it personally when our clients aren't satisfied 100% and we will do whatever it takes to make things right, in addition, we will learn from this event and prepare differently next time to make sure that these issues never present themselves again. Niko's Landing will always do the right thing, the customer is always first, and we demonstrated that by taking care of this client when their needs were not met sufficiently.

n, something mechanical that was out of Niko's Landing control. As soon as Niko's Landing was aware of the issue, corrective measures were taken and the problem was corrected immediately. The total time that the one unit was not working was roughly an hour. It was also a 95 degree day, and the event didn't start until 7:30pm. The cake was set up around 5pm, and due to poor planning by the customer, hadn't yet been cut at 10pm in the evening. It had been sitting in the sun all day next to our windows for more than 5 hours when our staff finally had to ask the couple to cut the cake due to the fact that some of the decorative flowers had started to slide off. The topper never fell as mentioned above. Hors d'oeuvres were put out at the start of the reception, and all the guests had eaten everything that we had prepared based on the numbers before the bridal party had got there. We can't control how much people eat, and the fact that the guests ate all the appetizers was an indication that the food must have been really good. The couple above was also compensated for any inconvenience by Niko's Landing the very next day, to which they gladly accepted. Niko's Landing handled the situation in a professional manner going above and beyond what was necessary to make things right.
